This is a LIVE Review! Exploring Oviedo today for foodie opportunities with the fam and ran into this place. Let's see what they got in store for the Oviedo community! The service was exceptional already, so that's a great start! Here's the deets... Branching from Mills 50, Grilled Cheezus opened its doors at Oviedo's Food Factory late September 2024. They have a small corner spot in this food hall area, but there an open area in the courtyard for eating. I have to tell y'all, if you love grilled cheese sandwiches, you've got to try this place out. Like TODAY. We ordered the Shareable 4 Platter consisting of the Brie-Yonce, Grilled Cheezus, Mac N' Cheezus, and Gimme S'More (a dessert sandwich). Every. Single. Sandwich. Was. A. Delight! I've never had a grilled cheese sandwich with BRIOCHE before; it gives a light sweetness to the complex of flavors with each bite. The sandwiches come with tomato bisque soup to dip in which is highly recommended! So, so good! Please support local! You won't be disappointed! "They're your tastebuds. Satisfy them!" -Allan Delacruz

Went to the food factory for the first time with friends on a Friday. The service was friendly and pretty quick! The sandwich I chose was "Muhammad AL-Bee - Chicken" , it was good just a bit on the smaller side. A bonus was the tomato soup included with the sandwich!

Another successful & delicious visit to Another Broken Egg Café…read more As per usual my husband ordered and enjoyed the chicken and waffles. He stated, "I don't know where they get there chicken from, it's good chicken." I ordered the new menu item Harvest Hash with 2 medium well egg and coffee. The coffee is piping hot, just like a like it. I love a good hash. This one has brussel sprouts, spinach & roasted onions. I asked them to omit the goat cheese. The biscuit beignets are yummy. The crispy edges are a delight. Another Broken Egg Café has plenty of seating inside. It has a full bar that connects the inside with the covered outside seating. Lilly, our server was nice, attentive and informative.

My waiter was training a new waiter. Service was fair but not stellar for having 2 people.... I was given a courtesy order of Biscuit Beignets which were delicious. Main dish was the Crab Cake Benedict. It was good and an unusual combination which I enjoyed. The hollandaise congealed a little quickly, so i am guessing it was packaged and not made in house. My side of bacon was very well done and almost hard...it tasted like it was a day old and reheated. Before leaving, I used the restroom and it was grungy...it looked like it had not been cleaned for a while....it was not encouraging and I questioned what condition the kitchen might be in since they neglected the bathrooms so bad. Overall not a terrible experience but I probably would not return....

The menu is pretty basic, as was the food. Nothing exceptional in my opinion, but we had a great meal, had a very decent price! I enjoyed my biscuits and gravy, and my husband's Nutella French toast tasted even better than I expected. The staff was great, and our food did not take long to come out. Seeing the items that the other members of our table ordered, if I were to return here, the side of cheesy potatoes is at the top of my list! These looked delicious. Another nice touch was the mural on the back of the building, behind the patio seating area. Such a nice spot for a photo as we came here on our honeymoon!

I went on a Saturday around 10am and was seated right away. The restaurant is very large. There is a cute area in the front with merch options, a diner counter, lots of booths and tables, and a big porch area in the back for seating. The restaurant sits along a popular bike trail and you will see many people biking on by. The service was great. The waitress was so pleasant and helpful when ordering and made sure I got everything I wanted. Timing in drinks and food was spaced out nicely. I ordered a large orange juice and the white chocolate chip pumpkin pancakes. Plus got scrambled eggs and 2 sausage patties. The pancakes were so beyond delicious! I highly recommend ordering. I didn't even need syrup the pancakes stood well alone. The sausage was very flavorful. My friend got the sausage gravy with biscuit, eggs, potatoes, and bacon. They loved their meal. I can't wait to come back and try dinner here. They are open for all the meals!

Our Peach Bellini's tasted great and for our entree we ordered the Short Rib Benedict with a side on Pancakes with fresh Fruit. I bought a friend from New York who was visiting and she loved it. She requested if they could make her a Chunky Chicken Salad sandwich, rather than the salad on the menu. They obliged and even gave her a Bleu Cheese Caesar salad on the side. Briarpatch knows how to impress as well as cater to the needs of the customer! I ordered one of my favorites, the Brown Rice Bowl and it was fresh and more than filling for lunch. Various flavored mimosas were enjoyed also. I went again last week with local friends as all three of us enjoy this place (and its mimosas!!) One friend tried the Chunky Chicken Salad on the menu (seasonal fruits and berries with zucchini bread sandwiches) and commented on the presentation (which Briarpatch is also well known for) and the freshness of the fruit. She especially enjoyed the zucchini sandwiches! Her husband ordered the Roast Beef Sandwich as it is one of his favorites on the menu. He devoured every bite of it and was very pleased with the tenderness of the beef and the flavor of the au jus. I ordered the Short Rib Benedict as I eyed it a few weeks back. It did not disappoint! Plenty of shredded, perfectly cooked short rib was on a bed of crispy hash browns. Two poached eggs covered in hollandaise sauce sat nicely on top of this amazing dish. It was heaven! Based on the above, I trust you can understand why I love this place. Outdoor seating, exemplary service each and every time I visit and food that is picture-perfect and tastes outstanding. What more could you ask for?! I highly recommend the Briarpatch!
