It comes with a seasoned crinkled fries and a 20 oz. cup for the soda fountain. Pepsi Co. Brand are on the selection: Dr. Pepper, Pepsi, their diet counterparts, Lemonade, and others that I can't remember. The sandwich is only a toasted french roll with glazed of butter and over-generously stuffed pulled-pork. Other than the pull-pork, I had tried their brisket and tri-tips. All three meats were well smoked and has a strong permeating after smoky tastes. And portions are well delivered altogether, especially for the cost. Worth it! The only downside is the BBQ sauce that they offered. It was a normal BBQ sauce. I didn't bother asking if they had other flavors, but their sauce didn't offend me. So I was still content and still ate without it. If I were to return, I'd bring my own sauce. Bathroom are clean! Besides the bathroom, hand sanitizer is offered at the cash register as well. Be aware, the door has a keypad. You may have to ask for the code as a patron. The moment you walk in, it smells great. The location has plenty of parking with a grill for smoking by the street. I came here after hearing all the hype, hype is definitely just what it is. I had the three meat sampler, ordered tri tip, chicken and ribs. Tri tip was dry and had no flavor just smoke it was dry and gray in color, the ribs were as if they were cooked in an oven, the chicken was cold, like refrigerated cold even though they reheated it, rice pilaf had absolutely no flavor, potato salad was a bit salty but probably was the only decent thing, their fries were even disgusting. A flat screen TV was turned on with a news program at loud volume and seemed to echo against the huge expansive room. A nice man politely took our orders as we scanned the wall menu. Joe K ordered a barbecued beef sandwich and fries that he special ordered without sauce or salt because of his heart condition. My dad only had a drink, while I decided on the chili cheese fries, thinking I would only get a small order because I was only mildly hungry. Everything was cooked up fresh as we waited and rested in the dining area. Our orders soon arrived to our table looking and smelling delicious! My boyfriend really enjoyed his sandwich while I noticed that my chili cheese fries came as a very generous combination of fries, chili, cheese and onions. After one bite, I was no longer mildly hungry; I was eagerly chowing down every flavorful mouthful! This was probably the best tasting chili cheese fries I have ever eaten! When we were finished, we let the cook know how much we enjoyed the food. I still had quite a bit left over and decided to take it back to the hotel for later consumption. A friend has a shop near here and invited me to lunch. The place was fairly crowded around noon on a Friday. Order at the counter, and they will bring your food out to you when it's ready (see below). The rest is pretty much "self service," with a soda dispenser to fill your own drink (they do have a soda water lever, which is always nice if you just get a water cup). Overall ambiance was lacking, but this is a BBQ place in an older strip mall so that's not what you're here for. Despite our friend being on a first-name basis with the staff, the wait time to get our food was somewhat outrageous. They told us it would be like 45 minutes, that's after we'd been waiting to order for at least 10 minutes. I don't understand why it is so slow since the tri-tip must already be cooked, and slicing it and putting it in a bun can't be that much labor (and it wasn't THAT busy). Our food arrived sooner than anticipated though, probably about 25 minutes later. The food was pretty good. We all had tri-tip sandwiches with fries. The tri-tip was moist and a generous portion with good flavor but nothing else on the bun. They had two containers of house-made BBQ sauce on the table. One was legitimately quite spicy as indicated by the label. Crinkle-cut fries are always a plus. Overall I would probably try this again. Meh. I'm not impressed. Tried the tri tip sandwich, some fries, and the chili. The sandwich fell apart almost immediately; the bun was super thin and soggy. It also tasted super oniony; I don't know why anyone would try to hide onions on a tri tip sandwich, but it was gross. The meat itself was just ok. They have two sauces; one is overly sweet and the other is overly hot. The fries were actually pretty good; they're perfectly seasoned. The chili was just ok. They also didn't bother giving me a fork to eat it with. The atmosphere here is terrible. The menu gives no information at all as to what it actually is; you just have to read names like "mini matty burger" and guess, or ask about every single item. The tables are super tiny. The whole time I waited for my food, some employee was shouting at another employee; it seemed like he was trying to train her but he was being an absolute loudmouth. There's also Raiders signs all over the place; I'm guessing that's supposed to let you know that this is not a safe area? Overall, this place sucked and the fries were not enough to redeem it in any way. After a wonderful ABC30 short story about a new restaurant called the Grill Masters BBQ. It looked great! My husband and I decided that's what we want to eat for dinner. So we drove over with high expectations for the restaurant. (We met three couples that came across town to eat barbecue based on the news story!) My husband ordered the rib combination dinner ($13.95) with cowboy beans and potato salad. I ordered the tritip combination dinner ($12.95) with the cowboy beans and a green salad. Most BBQ meals come with bread to sop up barbecue sauce. My husband asked if he could have some bread. The cook graciously toasted a bun which was greatly appreciated. The ribs were good but had a lot of fat. They needed to cook them longer. The potato salad was the best! The green salad came with no salad dressing. The TriTip was disappointing because I expected slices and not shaved TriTip. The cowboy beans were extremely spicy. I could not eat them. I asked if I could have potato salad instead. They sold me a cup of potato salad for $4.00! Overall, this is a new restaurant that has to grow and develop more. For example their food is served in styrofoam containers. I would rather have a plate with real forks and knives. I thought their food was a bit pricy. Also everything is extremely spicy including the BBQ sauce. They had sweet and hot BBQ sauce. The place is solid. Brisket sandwich / tri-tip sandwich were both large and tasted good even though I wouldn't say they were exquisite specimens of beef. Kudos from me for not serving salad with iceberg lettuce in it. It's expensive but not absurdly so, and it's really more of a grill than a BBQ though I'm not really complaining about that either. The hot BBQ sauce is actually hot, and they weren't vinegar-based, which is another reason to go 4-star on this. Total: + 3 for serving decent amount of food for the dollar that didn't suck. - 1 for it taking too long to fit in a regular lunch break + 1 back for being up front about it + 1 for keeping the drinks in the fridge cold. I'm big on customer service. This places customer service is up to par. Very welcoming when we walked into restaurant. Super friendly. I'm a die hard cowboys fan, so all the raider stuff kind of sucks... I'll make sure to go there during the season wearing a Cowboys jersey.. seeing how raiders only know how to loose it will be funny for me. My wife and I both got the small Matty. I can't rate the food because unfortunately, I was unable to try it. I stood in line for about 30 minutes (two people ahead of me) and when I got up to the counter I placed my order (rib plate). I was given a total to pay and by the time I pulled out my debit card to pay I was told they were out of ribs. I just stood there, dumbfounded. My husband called this place up, asked for two tri-tips and was quoted $48 ($24 each). When I went to pick it up, I was handed ONE tray. I looked under the foil and asked where the other tri-tip was. They said it was two tri-tips cut up in there. It was too small to be two but I was in a bind so I had no choice. And the quote of $48 was $10 more when I picked it up. That's before taxes.
