Food good but if you pay by credit card they automatically add a tip which should not be allowed. If you pay cash no issue. So check your bill

It is simply one of my favorite kabob places in VA... I don't understand the people who give it a lower rating because the employees don't smile... you try working at a mall slaving over a hot grille while people complain daily... Just based on food quantity and quality... it's hard to find better. They give you so much rice and meat that my wife and I often can feed ourselves and our little girl with the two meat platter (chicken and beef)... all their meats are delicious... can't go wrong... The secret is the hot sauce... you have to ask for it! It is absolutely ESSENTIAL! It's tangy and spicy and when mixed together with the white sauce... it is absolutely worth the trip to Dulles Towncenter! They are generous with their rice and make the bread fresh on the order...

I took a few days to write this review because I wanted to be kind and also honest. It pains me to give this place three stars but they have to ensure their customers are safe. I came here last week with my boyfriend to do a little shopping and grab a bite to eat. I ordered the chicken kebab and while I'm waiting for the food to be cooked I noticed the cashier is such a multiple surfaces without changing her gloves. Since it wasn't busy she was feeling containers with salad. My first issue is that the salad is now at room temperature instead of being cold. There were dozens of boxes stacked up. There's no way they were going to serve that many customers anytime soon. Once I noticed she didn't change her gloves I brought it to the managers attention and he personally made my plate and had a conversation with her. She apparently is new and immediately changed her gloves and apologized. My only issue is that if I wasn't standing right there to see it my food would have been contaminated. I just got sick a few weeks ago so I'm very cautious. I would return because the food was DELICIOUS! It was enough for 2 meals for me. And the manager was very apologetic. I just want us all to be safe.

Horrible service. Manager started cursing at me saying f**k you and f**k off after requesting a refund due to my order not being ready after placing online. Manger did not want to give me his info nor his business card. Once I started recording he started to hide in the back and stopped acting ignorant towards me. Very unprofessional for a "manager".

Hands down this is the place to eat when you're in the Dulles Town Center Food Court. The chicken kabob is my go-to when I need food fuel (protein & carbs). Their chicken is flavorful, tender, juicy on a huge portion of rice, side salad (love the carrots for crunch), naan bread (warm and authentic), chickpeas, and side sauces.

This has been my favorite place since 2010. They make the food in front of you! It is very so much fresh. For around 13 bucks, you get all the food ( in the picture). The bread in the picture is fresh baked. The food not only delicious but also so clean and healthy. They never changed since then ! The same good & healthy food for the same good price! Will stop by every time I visit Virginia! Good job, Grill Kabob!

Chicken kabob... the naan/pita was baked fresh and the size of the paper bag-- big and the perfect amount for all the chicken!

I'm a local customer and live just a minute away, so I've visited more than once. I came in for lunch today with my wife and our 1.5-year-old son. After placing our order and sitting down, the server loudly yelled from behind the counter for us to come get our water. It felt uncomfortable and unprofessional, especially with a young child. When I placed my order, I asked for extra white sauce, and I asked again when the food came out. Both times, the request was ignored. I also mentioned that we hadn't received our drinks, but instead of addressing it, the server again yelled for us to get the drinks ourselves from the cooler. The food itself was okay, but the bread was very poor--hard and barely edible. I even called the restaurant later in the evening to share my concerns, but was told the server was off at that time. Overall, very disappointing experience, mainly due to the customer service. I hope this feedback is taken seriously and leads to improvement.

Non alcoholic drinks are not an after thought, the sour cherry rose lemonade is liked by kids, adults, and seniors. Service is warm and welcoming, the Rumi quotes on the walls and turkish lamps add to the ambience, parking is easy and aplenty. A few tips: 1. Go for the lunch menu if you are feeding a large group. It is cheaper. Or consider making the trek to where it all started, Afghan Bistro in Springfield. 2. Ask for the daily selection of cakes. The pumpkin dumplings and pan fried veggie filled dumplings were great as well. I thought my salmon wrap and the chickpea side was ok. Interesting flavors for sure. As for the service, there was always someone filling up our waters and our waiter was very nice checking in every now and then. The only downside of the experience is at the end when the waiter was boxing up all the food for us. Very sweet that they do this but when boxing up my partners food, they only boxed up the rice and they got rid of the lamb that he was looking forward to eating more of later. So that was kind of a disappointment for us. I think if we go again, we would request to box our food ourselves since I'm not sure why they decided to get rid of all of his lamb.

Got a combo of chicken kabob and shami kabob along with a side of their borani banjan/eggplant dish. The eggplant was honestly one of my favorite things- it's a must get in my opinion. Homey dish with incredible flavors! Their naan is fresh and pairs well with it. The chicken was good, but I've had better honestly. The shami was a little disappointing as I expected more flavor and it was slightly dry, but good. Their rice was so tasty and I loved the sweetness coming from the carrots an raisins. Of course, the sheeryakh was great- quite a big portion for one person, but I loved the texture. It tastes very similar to the Indian/South Asian/Pakistani ice cream, "Kulfi." CONSTRUCTIVE FEEDBACK: Service needs improvement. The whole time I was there I had to keep looking for waiters to make eye contact with to ask for menu, water, paying, etc. It took about 10 min or more for me to have to call a busy waiter over just to look at the menu- no one came over on their own. Things just took time for a Saturday night- plus they were hosting an event on top of this. Needless to say, I've never had service like this, but the vibe and food made me be not as harsh. Despite the service, this place is a must try for authentic Afghan cuisine. Can't wait to try more of their menu (and the borani banjan again) in the future!
