The spicy sauce it came with was perfect and not too hot and had a good flavor. I ordered one of the few meals that was on my carb free diet and was a generous portion of kabob meat over a bed of salad. I really appreciated the salad had some parsley, tomato, a little feta cheese and 2 pepperoncini peppers and was not just a pile of lettuce. I showed very hungry and this place is very popular on the weekend so there were many orders ahead of mine and required patiently waiting for my number to be called which took around 15-20 minutes . New in the Dulles Town Center food court replacing many failed food stalls in the past so hopefully Yummy Shawarma will be a success. They have the rotating spit visible in the kitchen (both chicken and beef) and it looks legit. I've had some really delicious Shawarma and this is a nice new addition so I decide to go with the Chicken pita meal which includes fries and a drink. The chicken is seasoned nicely and not dry...they top it with lettuce, tomatoes, cucumber, onions and a white sauce. Good stuff...not the absolute best Shawarma I've had but solid. The fries are crispy and they also add in a few pickles and pickled onions on the side. One oddity...we taste some cilantro mixed in with the lettuce in the pita...odd but it was definitely cilantro...not sure if that was by accident or what but recommend mgmt make folks aware if it wasn't an accident and there is cilantro in the pita. With all the other stalls here in the past with absolutely no customers it was different this time on a Saturday evening so I hope they will be a mainstay going forward. read more

You would find similar shawarma at Haifa in Falls Church but it's great that we don't have to make that trek any more for shawarma. Just one feedback for the owners, I got the sense that there is mayo in the garlic sauce. I would recommend that you either reduce the amount of mayo or eliminate it altogether. I hope I'm wrong but the beef resembled and tasted like premade gyro beef grilled in shawarma seasoning. I was super disappointed for a place called yummy shawarma. The portion however was large and I enjoyed the rice. They provide one tiny garlic sauce (2oz tops?) for a huge portion of meat, rice and salad and even tho I ordered two extra it wasn't even close to enough. The falafel was good for the price but a little on the bland side for me personally. My chicken shawarma wrap was DELICIOUS but definitely felt like an Americanized version of what I was hoping for. Last but not least the homemade chicken tenders (more like rippin chicken than tenders but not disappointed) were surprisingly the star of the show. It feeds my whole family (me, husband, and 2 year old) and it has the best flavor! They are so generous with the food and sauce! And if you want a special treat to go with it, the restaurant next to it has some special bread for $2.
