    Kids Pita
    Hailey C.

Yummy yummy. I wasn't too hungry so I decided to get a kid's pita and it was the perfect portion size for me. It comes with your choice of dip and salad or rice plus protein and toppings. I recommend the tzatziki sauce.

CAVA is a great fast food Mediterranean restaurant with all the healthy options you'd like. The service is fine and moves you quickly. I like the rustic atmosphere of the CAVA restaurants. The kids meal is plenty of food sometimes.

This was my first time at Cava, and it lived up to the TikTok hype! Cava is a Mediterranean fast-casual restaurant with a focus on healthier options. I ordered a bowl with rice, salad, spicy honey chicken, various vegetables, and their signature Caesar dressing. It was both tasty and healthy. The crispy, buttery pita chips were a standout, and the strawberry tea was refreshing and not too sweet. Definitely worth checking out!

One of our fave casual Mediterranean chains! This location provided larger portions and plenty of seating (compare to SD's location). We found the pita bread to be thin & stale and sauces to be on the more watery side than usual. Love the variety of toppings offered- I always ask to get a little of everything with extra pickled onions, fire- roasted corn, and kalamata olives. If you love garlic, would definitely recommend the creamy garlic dressing to top off your bowl!

I believe that they recently opened this Cava location and I have to say it's very convenient if you're in Terminal B and flying AA or Alaska! I stopped in one morning for late snack at breakfast time and got the kid's pita meal and it was really good and substantial enough to hold off the hunger, yet not be stuffed! Staff was helpful and friendly too.

My favorite post workout spot is CAVA. I enjoy the chicken bowl. The chicken always taste fresh. There are so many toppings to select from and I love the spreads they offer.

This Cava location is always clean and provides fast service! Parking could be a bit challenging if it's busy time of the day but if you don't mind walking around the area the whole place is nice to have dinner, take a walk, and grab a drink or two!

Clean location with quick service! I ordered online & my food was ready to go in 5 minutes. Portions were generous and everything tasted great. Staff was friendly also.

This is my go to lunch pick up since Match 2020 because its accessible to when I go to One Loudoun to walk my BC Tucker! Always great salad grains combo I practically could eat it daily like when I was going in to the Office in DC. TheCava in DC was my goto pré pandemic and glad this location opened up closer to when working from home! Fresh ingredients and staff is always pleasant! When weather is nice I eat outdoor seating and pick up when weather disagrees. I simply love Cava!

Build Your Own Bowl w/ Tea

It's a Mediterranean Chipotle. CAVA is an eatery, where you build your own bowl of all the Mediterranean goods. It's a great concept that I hope we get someday in the Seattle area. My parents raved about this place and eat here weekly for lunch. And I can see why. What's not to love about building your own bowl with everything you want? The selection is good with different proteins, vegetables and grains and sauces. You also get a free mini pita with your bowl. Plus, it's healthy, so move over, Chipotle. I built my own bowl, and just went with anything that sounded appealing. I had a spring mix base with RightRice, which is a rice made from veggies and legumes and for protein, I did half and half of spicy lamb meatballs and falafel. I attempted to order a beet lemonade that I had learned about through Yelp; but sadly, they didn't have it at the time. I do like though that they had unsweetened teas for beverage options. Everything tasted light, healthy and delicious. Of the proteins, I liked the spicy lamb meatballs and would recommend for anyone who likes lamb...and some spice. The falafels were A-OK, as they were a tad over fried. Of all the spreads I had I enjoyed the harissa for just a hint of spice. But overall, my bowl was solid and even had leftovers. Though, it didn't taste as good the next day. So come here hungry! If there was a CAVA where I live you could count on me to be a frequent customer. I'm a fan of Mediterranean food and a build-your-own-bowl format at an affordable price, so this concept is definitely appreciated. Glad to have checked it out while in the area.

The pita crisps topper was burned.

Good bowl except for the overcooked pita crisps. Hard to believe the employee thought it was acceptable. ‍ Sterling, VA location evening of 5/15/23.

I ordered the mixed kabob (salmon and vegetable) and everything was tasty, hot and delicious! Everything had just the right amount of seasoning. Even the grilled pita bread had a nice light sprinkle of seasoning. The white tsiki sauce was creamy and had a nice texture due to the slices of radish. The salmon was tender and flaky. I'm definitely going to try more items on their menu on a return trip and I'm going to recommend to friends to try this humble eatery that's serving hot tasty Mediterranean fare!

After locating my friend, we discussed her recommended dishes since she frequented Cafesano. She eventually stated that I wouldn't be disappointed with the skewers, so, I decided to commit to the Steak and Shrimp Skewers. With the busyness of the Friday crowd, I expected there to be a wait time with ordering our meals, however, the order line essentially was non-existent, which was a win. The cashier was nice and efficient. However, when it was time for my food to come out, it took quite a bit of time. But, eventually my food came out fresh off the stove, which I appreciated. On to the taste of the dish. Unfortunately, with the promising words from my friend paired with the reviews, my expectations for this dish may have been quite high, causing immediate disappointment. I sadly felt like everything on my plate lacked flavor. The meat could have been seasoned/marinated better giving a more flavorful skewer experience. The portion size was good and price was very affordable. As it pertains to parking, the options were abundant.

While there are some good things about the place, which I will list first, there are some not-so-good things. The good --- When we arrived, the place wasn't busy at all. There were a few people sitting outside. The dining room was empty. Throughout our meal, we had the place to ourselves. Our server greeted us and seated us. Masha was very friendly, polite, and efficient. The dining room was decorated with artificial hanging plants. Also, there was a large mural of Eve holding the apple with the serpent coaxing her to eat it. Now for the not-so-good things --- getting to the entrance wasn't easy, especially for my husband, who is waiting to get his knee replaced. To reach the entrance, you had to walk down a paved path with descending steps after parking the car. Upon entry, we had to climb a somewhat long staircase. On the way out, Masha stated that there was a ramp and pointed to a door leading to the kitchen and said we could go out that way. We chose to exit the way we entered. Also, they don't have any printed menus -- just a QR code to scan for the menu. We found that to be off-putting. Fortunately, we had already decided what to order before coming here. We chose to start with "Zaytoun", which consists of "Mixed Pitted Olives Tossed In Extra Virgin Oil. GF". This was a tasty starter. There were a few different types of pitted olives. However, we didn't think that there was any olive oil in the small bowl; rather, it appeared to be brine. For our main course, we both chose "Beef Kofta" which consists of: "Beef rolls served with Lebanese Couscous, Refreshing Tomatoes, Cucumber, & Labneh". The beef kofta was very dry. Growing up, I sometimes had Kofta, and it often turned out quite dry. The kofta did have some kick, and the small amount of very tasty labneh helped mute the spiciness. The Lebanese couscous portion was huge. That, too, helped give moisture to the kofta. This was a filling meal, and we ended up taking some home. Weighing the pros and cons, the cons, alas, outweighed the pros for us.

I'm a local customer and live just a minute away, so I've visited more than once. I came in for lunch today with my wife and our 1.5-year-old son. After placing our order and sitting down, the server loudly yelled from behind the counter for us to come get our water. It felt uncomfortable and unprofessional, especially with a young child. When I placed my order, I asked for extra white sauce, and I asked again when the food came out. Both times, the request was ignored. I also mentioned that we hadn't received our drinks, but instead of addressing it, the server again yelled for us to get the drinks ourselves from the cooler. The food itself was okay, but the bread was very poor--hard and barely edible. I even called the restaurant later in the evening to share my concerns, but was told the server was off at that time. Overall, very disappointing experience, mainly due to the customer service. I hope this feedback is taken seriously and leads to improvement.
