I appreciated that they have allergy listed, so if you have dairy, nut, or sesame allergy, etc you can know what specifically is in each ingredient as you make your bowl. Their saffron rice was so good! The lady was making me and my friends bowl at the same time. I wanted the dill yogurt dressing, and she thought my friend said it on hers. She offered to make the whole thing over again, but my friend was fine trying it out. She said if she didn't like it, she would be happy to make it over. Even the drinks were great! We found the pita bread to be thin & stale and sauces to be on the more watery side than usual. Love the variety of toppings offered- I always ask to get a little of everything with extra pickled onions, fire- roasted corn, and kalamata olives. Today they did it again, placed an online order, get there as the only person there. Next time you're at this location take notice of the employees. During our visit while waiting for our online order we noticed the girl using the same pair of gloves to tend to the register, make change, and make about 15-20 different online orders. We also noticed one of the guys cutting, handling, and storing stacks of pitas without gloves entirely. Don't ever come to this location if you want sanitary food. It's a Mediterranean Chipotle. CAVA is an eatery, where you build your own bowl of all the Mediterranean goods. It's a great concept that I hope we get someday in the Seattle area. My parents raved about this place and eat here weekly for lunch. And I can see why. What's not to love about building your own bowl with everything you want? The selection is good with different proteins, vegetables and grains and sauces. You also get a free mini pita with your bowl. Plus, it's healthy, so move over, Chipotle. I built my own bowl, and just went with anything that sounded appealing. I had a spring mix base with RightRice, which is a rice made from veggies and legumes and for protein, I did half and half of spicy lamb meatballs and falafel. I attempted to order a beet lemonade that I had learned about through Yelp; but sadly, they didn't have it at the time. I do like though that they had unsweetened teas for beverage options. Everything tasted light, healthy and delicious. Of the proteins, I liked the spicy lamb meatballs and would recommend for anyone who likes lamb...and some spice. The falafels were A-OK, as they were a tad over fried. Of all the spreads I had I enjoyed the harissa for just a hint of spice. But overall, my bowl was solid and even had leftovers. Though, it didn't taste as good the next day. So come here hungry! If there was a CAVA where I live you could count on me to be a frequent customer. My grain bowl was worth the wait. No greens today since I ate them all for breakfast. I just love CAVA tho, all the ingredients are always fresh, the bar is always clean so it adds to the magnitude of freshness ( at least in your mind). It tends to be healthier than a lot of the other lunch time leisure you can choose from. I stop with the usual of a bowl with white rice, lentils, extra lentils, chicken, since I can eat the meat here and dang near all the toppings except for the radishes. Drizzle on some of that vinaigrette and we are golden! I do like that the young lady on the front of the bar asked upfront if I wanted a pita, instead of me having to ask for it. Last and definitely not least, as if good food is not enough. Those juices, those juices will get you right!!! I've been coming here frequently for years and they've just started skimping on the meat, to the point that I don't feel full or satisfied after eating here anymore. I usually get the lamb which is almost a $3.00 up-charge, too, and they skimp on that as well. I am charged $14.23 for a rice bowl with no more than 2-3 bites of meat in it! Lately the service has been suffering, too. Employees fill out online orders from start to finish while you wait with a half-filled bowl, and the last two times I've been here I've had to wait about 20 minutes to get my food when only 4-5 people were in front of me. Ridiculous. Sometimes the employees act like they're paying out of pocket when filling your bowl with toppings, and I've had them add no more than a SINGLE 1-inch diameter mini-cucumber slice when I politely ask for "a little more, please." I have been to many cava locations and this is one of the worst ones. My bowl was half way filled and it was missing the cabbage as well as the cucumber at tomato topping. This location definitely skimps out on food. When I walked in the staff was not very friendly and was just staring at me. When I asked for a bag one of the staff members rolled thier eyes. For this location, used curbside and was shopping in a nearby mall and ordered using their app (which is a bit spotty sometimes). I was able to get my order for pickup in under 15 minutes and when I drove up it was a bit unclear where to park since it's right at the entrance of a busy retail complex. I always get the half veggies half falafel grain bowl with brown rice and lentils. It tastes amazing every time and I don't even know how many times I have eaten over here! Sometimes, may be at the closing time at night, the taste doesn't feel so fresh but then it's understandable or something to work upon, I don't know! I love mediterranean cuisine and the concept of unlimited free toppings is so rare. The food tasted so fresh and healthy and the quantity was HUGE especially for the price! While I have been to other Cava locations this one is just as good. This is like a Mederterranean version of Chipolte. So you start with a base, pitas, salad or bowl with rice. I chose the pita, and then you get to add spreads. Tons of spreads! I added hummus, roasted red pepper and Harissa! If you like spicy make sure to get the Harissa! It was soooo good! For my protein I love the grilled meatballs! They are amazing! I am not usually a meatball kinda gal but these are really good. I added a bunch of toppings as well at the end of the line. You are able to customize your bowls/ breads by choosing greens, grains, or both. It is so yummy and I highly recommend you go if you haven't.
