I tried to buy one of the pods for .50 with dimes and quarters like the sign said I could, but the old woman working refused to honor the sign and wouldn't take anything except for quarters. First of all, how is it that my clothes look way better after a wash here than they did before I brought them in?! How sway?! Such sorcery, but I'm here for it. Quite an unassuming laundromat with a great drop off service. I'm happy I chose to drop my clothes off at this fantastic laundromat. Within two hours, I received a call that they were ready for pickup, but they were happy to wait until I got off of work (6 p.m.) to hold my clothes. I had been regular at griggs washeteria since if was under new ownership years ago. Sadly I would likely go back ever unless changes are made to protect customers better. Sadly also I had nothing but good to say until this last week. I would say the value is good, but when multiple blankets are stolen from the machines twice in as many days. It's a bad value when I have to purchase replacements. With all the security cameras I was surprised to have this issue not once, but twice. And I'd suggest turning smart phones off or not bringing them inside because my phone which was on my person wasn't good enough to have someone access my personal information, requested all sorts of quotes with my number that has resulted in blocking several dozen spam and scam calls no texts and changing all my account information as a precaution just to start receiving fraud alerts of failed attempts to access accounts and information. Laundry was 99cent a pound and they fold your clothes and even separated them by person. To the best of their ability. They washed my whites and my whites sparkled and my shirts, pants, and socks were folded nicely and socks were matched to the best of their ability. I really thought I would've depend 150$, but I ended spending half of that. Take your clothes in a bag because they weigh it by your bag. Don't waste your money in this establishment because it has new management. The manager and workers are rude and have no interest in great customer service. They knowingly observe the malfunction of their washers and refuse to give refunds nor putting out of order signs to prevent next customers from using it. The laundry worker literally argued with me and lied to her manager so I couldn't get my refund of $5.00 from two small washers that did not rinse the soap out of my clothes at rinse nor final rinse. I showed her throughout process til end and she acted as if she would pay for rewash by saying "Just let it finish" but low and behold, it was a ploy to say "It did wash your clothes" but my issue the entire time was it didn't rinse the soap out! read more

The neighborhood needs this laundromat I frequent here often but as of late it's been filthy nasty the floors are never swept , trash is always full . The the attendants are never to be found they're always sleep in the office on their cell phone in the office sleep on the floor in the office you can never tell if they're in there because the lights are always off. they never come out to clean until right before their shift is over not during the day while they're there!!! read more

I would recommend people stay away from this Washateria. There's a lot of infighting going on inside, and it's not professionally managed by anyone knowledgeable. I had a relative that worked there, and the drama that goes on there is beyond belief. There are many other Washateria's in town that you could use that would treat customers and employees better than this one. They just fired one great employee! read more

This store just opened up again after remodeling, brand new dryers and washers, completely new look, very roomy, bright and clean inside! Best washateria in the neighborhood! I brought my clothes in to wash and the owner came by and told me they're running grand opening specials, FREE DRY if I wash there (Woo Hoo$$$). Very cool guy, friendly and happy to run this promotion for "as long as he can afford it". oh, and free Wi-Fi too:-) I'm definetely coming back here. read more

I unfortunately had my dryer break down over the Thanksgiving holiday. I ironically received a flyer in the mail of a new washateria in the neighborhood promoting the grand opening with free drying for washing customers. Of course, I couldn't pass it up! I was delighted upon arrival as Mr. Smith was pleasantly welcoming. Then after meeting Nam one of the managing owners I was overall ecstatic about his desire to make sure everyone was pleased with the environment!!!! I will recommend this place over and over!!!
