With us being in a time crunch and stressed out (our first PCS as military members) we found this place and decided to give them a call. A guy answered and was so kind. His name was Ralph! Within minutes we were able to get there & they assisted us in getting our storage. They were super kind and I am so glad that we ended up at this place. My husband says that is probably one of the best customer service he ever had. The pricing and security and value of the place is great. It was clean as well. Ralph & Santiaga were amazing and we are really happy about their service. Especially in a stressful and difficult time.. they genuinely helped us out. Ralph even came out and gave us some tips on unloading which helped us return our U-Haul in time. I normally don't leave reviews.. but they differently deserved it. They also helped us find a perfect storage that would let us drive our 26ft long U-Haul around no problem.

Leah, the manager is wonderful but her hands are tied. Next door @ North Fork Storage (a new facility) they quoted me a 12x15 for $130 per month. I'll factually highlight that they're gauging. I've been a customer for 6+ years. I rented a 10 x 15 in 2021 that cost me $110 a year and if I paid The entire year at once I got one month free. This brought the price to about $100 a month. Four years later they are charging me $164 a month. That's a 64% increase in four years (an average of 16% per year!) Even Biden, and his lousy policies, didn't produce that kind of inflation, he's at 5.2%! So airport Storage, which has no real consumable material costs, is charging a good customer 300% the inflation rate during the Biden administration. This is nothing but a money grab, and especially shady as hell since when I called their service center I can rent the same 10x15 unit today for $147 per month at the same facility. So they're just sticking it to us. Stay away from this place. They're price gauging

I am posting this review based on my experience trying to get Cubix Asset Management to respond…read moreregarding a serious issue at Skyway Self Storage in Chico. My storage unit at Skyway was burglarized and property was stolen. I had been told at move-in that security cameras were functional and that walkthroughs were done daily at close of business. The facility's website also repeatedly advertised 24/7 security cameras / 24/7 video surveillance. After the burglary, I learned that the cameras near my unit were apparently not connected to Wi-Fi, and there was no useful footage available. I repeatedly requested basic claim information: ownership contact, insurance information, preservation of video/access logs, and a substantive response. I also contacted Cubix through a general contact account because of its apparent involvement with the facility. No meaningful response followed. Meanwhile, my same unit was later targeted again in a second attempted break-in, where the bracket securing the lock had been cut. I was eventually referred to Nestor Campos, Cubix's regional manager, who said he was waiting to hear back regarding insurance information and next steps. I followed up again. Still no insurance information, no explanation, no meaningful response, and no accountability. At one point, documents in the payment portal, including my lease, appeared to have links removed or disabled, preventing me from downloading or viewing them during an active dispute. In my opinion, the handling of this matter has felt dismissive, evasive, and in bad faith. A company involved in managing or overseeing storage facilities should not advertise security, fail to provide usable security footage when a tenant is burglarized, ignore preservation and insurance requests, and then leave the tenant chasing basic information for months. If Cubix is not the proper party, it could have simply said so and directed me to the correct owner, insurer, or claims contact. Instead, the silence and lack of accountability have been the most consistent part of this entire process. Based on this experience, I would be extremely cautious dealing with Cubix Asset Management or any facility connected to them. Before renting at a property they manage or oversee, I would ask: Who actually owns the facility? Who manages claims? What insurance contact is provided after a loss? Are the cameras actually connected and recording? Who preserves footage and access logs? Can tenants reach anyone with authority when something goes wrong? My experience has been that getting answers to those questions after a loss is nearly impossible.
