Would give this place a lower rating but wasn't allowed. Sweet waitress, terrible food. Don't go!

The atmosphere is so laid back and there's live music during a certain time of day. I admire the decor in the men's restroom. This is one of those pubs that you'll seat yourself, but we ended up sitting at the bar. Blackstone has a great list of cocktails, beers and shots that makes it difficult to choose from. They must've be known for their pizza because many diners had pizza boxes at their tables which is something that we gotta try next time. We ordered food and drinks which I ended up getting the bbq quesadillas and he ended up getting nachos. The nachos came with a big container of queso which was really good. My quesadilla was pretty thick which I've never had a quesadilla that huge before. It also came with chips and salsa. They don't skip on the alcohol because it seemed other restaurants you order drinks from have barely any alcohol in it. The staff is well trained and knowledgeable about the menu. Overall, this is so far my favorite pub in Gadsden and look forward to coming back.

We did not know there was a pub crawl for St Patty's day happening on the day of our reservation. We were the first to be seated in the restaurant since it opened at 5:00. Once we sat down we found out there was a limited dinner menu. The waitress took our drink order right away, but it took 20 minutes for the drinks to be delivered. While waiting for the drinks the waitress took our food order, took our food a good 40 minutes to be served after we ordered. The waitress told us our food was delayed because one item was burned in the oven and had to be remade. When we finally got our order one of the entrees was cold and the other was luke warm. We had ordered both entrees medium, but they were also over cooked. I understand they were busy with the pub crawl, but that should not have impacted their service as much as we experienced. What really disappointed me that the restaurant did not make us aware of the limited dinner menu and that they also were hosting a pub crawl when we made reservations. We could have made a decision to cancel the reservation before we traveled to the restaurant I hope the owners of this restaurant will plan better in the future and make their patrons aware of special circumstances affecting the menu. All I know is that I will not be returning.

Neither of us had eaten here before, but both had been wanting to try this place out. First and foremost, don't come out in your Sunday's finest, this place is the true definition of Dive Bar. Come as casual as you want and you'll feel comfortable. Only one other person in the place we were able to grab any seat we wanted. The bartender was quick to our table to get drink orders and give us menus. I went for one of the four Grenades they offered - no not a drink it's one of their signature dishes. Think Nachos but with French fries instead of chips. They had a steak offering as well as ground beef, chicken and pork. I went for the Fresh Prince which came piled with steak, grilled onions and bell peppers and queso (added some pico on the side). Really good dish. Flavor of the steak was that of a classic philly cheese steak. Generous portion for the price. Hard to go wrong here, really the hardest decision is which of the four to order. My fiance had the Porky - which simply put was a loaded burger, but it was oh so much more. Topped with slaw and smoked pork, smothered in bourbon BBQ add some cheddar, lettuce, tomato and fried onion straws and you're in burger heaven. Again, the portion was more then generous and full of flavor. Prices are right on point. Service was good and even though they got busier the longer we stayed, we continued to get checked on through the meal. While you wait for your food, the pool was free (not sure if it's that way all the time - but Saturday afternoon it is). We wouldn't hesitate to come back and try this place out and some of the other menu items. Really great food. Great Staff. Great Prices.

They had a band called Bob and the Fog playing. They sounded good. There is room to dance. They host other social events like Bingo, corn hole toss and darts. Parking is ok for persons with disabilities. They also allow outside food but NO DRINKS. I saw some deliveries in the area. They also had a food trailer in the parking lot. That person sold fried fish and chicken with chips it was ok. I think some pizzas would be great. Plenty of beer to choose from their house menu. They have some wine and canned sodas. Prices are fare. Overall had a good time and we would come back.

We have loved their Blood Orange Berliner Weisse for years and have always said we needed to make it to the brewery. Today was the perfect chance. It was a Sunday afternoon, and luckily, they were open. There were just a few people, but as they day progressed, more trickled in. Michelle, the beertender, at the time was great. She suggested all sorts of beers based on my taste and let me sample them all. One suggestion she had was to mix the Mango with the Blood Orange. It was really good. The two that I ended up drinking were the Duck River Dunkel and the ISB English Ale. I also liked that they had pretzels and popcorn as bar snacks. We met some really nice people and talked for a while. It reminded me of the old summer days when everyone would just sit and talk and enjoy life. It sure beat the fast-paced and scheduled life that goes on today.
