My sister and I were looking for a place still serving breakfast after our morning shopping trip, and we found Griddlecakes! I felt bad walking in with an hour and a half before closing (I know that's still a decent amount of time), but we were greeted very nicely and I was happy to see there were a few other groups of people. Many of the food options sounded so good. I started with an orange juice, which came in a mason jar, so a pretty decent size! I got the blue jay pancakes, and my sister got the lover pancakes. We both loved what we got, and the portions were huge. Food came out really fast. We were in and out in probably 30-40 mins, which I was not mad at! I really tried to give this place the benefit of the doubt but after two visits, I won't be back. The first time I ate here, I ended up having to rush to the bathroom shortly after. I figured maybe it was just a fluke, so I gave them another shot. Big mistake. I came back today and ordered the chicken and waffles, the chicken was dry, bland, and lacked any real flavor, but the waffle itself was actually pretty good. Unfortunately, both me and my boyfriend ended up with the runs not long after eating. So it wasn't just me this time. Visiting Vegas for a few days and had one of them nights that required a late start. Friend had a later night than the group so took the rental so we had to UberEats (maybe TMI for Yelp lol). We ordered quite a bite from here, eggs, pancakes, hash browns but I got the skillet that had peppers, eggs, Turkey and spinach which hit the spot. Although we didn't visit the physical location, we thoroughly enjoyed the food. Food is phenomenal, I usually get the gordo with scrambled eggs or the sirloin melt with mayo on the side with a healthy dose of the blue jay stack. Their service is usually fast and the staff is super sweet, friendly, and helpful! The restaurant is small so get there early. read more

The service was honestly the best part of the entire visit. The staff was friendly, quick, and made us feel welcome. Unfortunately, the food felt like it came from an entirely different restaurant, one that forgot what breakfast is supposed to taste like. The eggs were good, which was a relief because they were the only thing worth finishing. The home fries were basically raw potato cubes taking a long bath in grease. My bacon was so overcooked it could have doubled as kindling. The pancakes were passable but they came with a syrup bottle that dripped so slowly I felt like I was doing some kind of breakfast endurance challenge. It took two full minutes just to get enough syrup on one pancake, and by the time I was done they were lukewarm and sad. It is a shame because the place itself is adorable. The decor is cute, the vibe is cozy, and you really want the food to live up to the atmosphere. If the kitchen put half as much effort into the food as they did into the decor, this could be a great spot. read more

Griddlecakes is absolutely fantastic--both the food and the service are top-notch. I had the Garden Skillet and added carne asada, and it was incredible. In fact, I loved it so much, I came back three days in a row. If that doesn't say I'm a fan, I don't know what does. The breakfast is consistently excellent, and the service is just as impressive. This was a decent breakfast meal overall without anything truly exceptional. The inside is kind of haphazard with boxes and styrofoam containers stacked in the corner and just an overall unkempt appearance. The staff were friendly and knowledgeable about the menu. Soft drinks are served in large mason jars which is good if you're thirsty. I opted for a combo with egg whites, turkey sausage, and a lemon blueberry pancake. Everything was decent. The pancake had a nice lemon flavor with quite a few blueberries in the batter and a few sprinkled on top. Tasty but honestly nothing amazing or mind blowing in terms of a pancake. Whoa! An amazing breakfast! Who knew? The restaurant is kind of small but the food is amazing! My hubby had the meat lover's omelette and I had the jumbo breakfast platter....that in itself could feed a small village. (My eyes were bigger than my body) My pancakes were yummy and bigger than my face. Eggs and bacon were cooked to perfection. The real bonus was the staff who simply could not do enough for you. We came on a Monday morning during Spring Break around 9 am. It was fairly empty which was nice to have a break from the hustle and bustle of life. We were warmly greeted and sat at a half booth four top. The server gave us time to decide on our final choices, even though we scouted the menu ahead of time, making that final decision is tough! So many good options! My son got the kid's Happyface Griddlecakes with bacon and we also checked in on Yelp to get a bonus free Griddlecake. He also got an orange juice for his drink. I ordered the Garden Skillet with scrambled eggs and sourdough. My mom basically ordered a Garden omelet sans peppers with rye toast, and my dad ordered the 3 egg meal with sourdough and a coffee. The juice came in a kid covered styrofoam cup which even for a 10 year old you can't ever be too careful. The juice was fresh squeezed and light on pulp. Very tasty. Coffee was being topped off left and right so much that my dad had to decline after a few. So service was definitely on point! Our meals came out and each plate was a nice portion and perfect temperature. The Happyface Griddlecake was like a certain famous mouse shaped head with a whipped cream eyes and mouth and two slices of bacon. It completely filled my son's belly so we were able to save the extra Griddlecake for another meal. My garden skillet was gigantic! The eggs were fluffy and the vegetables and potatoes underneath were well seasoned and so flavorful! My mom also enjoyed her omelet and my dad downed his eggs and potatoes. It was a nice hearty meal to send them on the road back to California. Not too heavy that you feel sick (then again we took leftovers home) but just right. Service was friendly and we had a really good time. They even helped us take a group picture altogether. Reliable, tasty, good portions, and won't break the bank. read more

In between appointments, I decided to stop in here for brunch...and I am so pleased that I did! The food was delicious!! I had the Jackpot breakfast, which included eggs, bacon, potatoes, and--of course--griddlecakes. My coffee cup was never empty. Staff were very attentive to me (but not overbearing) and everyone was incredibly nice and friendly. I am sure they are probably packed on a weekend, but my visit was mid-morning on a Wednesday. A great option off the strip for breakfast. We were visiting vegas and getting sick of the overpriced breakfasts that you get in casinos. About 5 min off the strip and no wait on a saturday morning. Friendly staff got us seated right away. Looking at the menu they had all the basic breakfast foods. They also do custom pancakes (several different kinds of batter and toppings). Our group ordered a bunch of different items. Personally i loved the pancakes (i got a chocolate batter with bananas and lots of whipped cream). I made it combo with eggs and sausage too. The eggs were done nicely, the sausage was greasy and tasty. I loved the fresh orange juice. The coffee was okay, nothing special, but it was adequate. Overall, cheaper than expensive on strip food. Nice variety of tastes with different types of pancakes. If you dont' want to overpay for food on the strip this is a nice option. read more

Had a team meeting here at 7am one morning. Food was horrible and it was around $120 for 5 people. The server recommended chicken and waffles were barely edible (overcooked dry chicken with tasteless bland waffles) I didn't eat more than 2 bites and the server took my plate without asking if there was a problem or what I thought, then charged us the full price. There were 4 full plates of food on the table when the meal was over. 1 star for lack of awareness, lack of care, expensive price, horrible food. read more

Griddlecakes has been on my list for a while. On the way home from Henderson, I decided to finally have my breakfast here. I was seated shortly after entering. The spot is a small place. There are probably 8 tables. I was given a menu and brought coffee quickly. I ordered the ABC skillet--Avocado, bacon, and chicken skillet topped with shredded cheese. I did not have to wait. It was ready quickly. Beware that the skillet is very hot and is served on a wooden board. All skillets are served with 3 eggs and toast or biscuit and gravy. I ordered rye toast and the eggs sunny. This is a very hearty breakfast. The eggs and sliced half avocado cover the large amount of potato cubes, bacon, and chicken that lie below. Breaking a yolk, I let the yolk run into the potato, bacon, and chicken mixture below. The toast was helpful in pushing some of the smaller pieces of bacon to my fork. It also added to the carb heavy breakfast. Service was very good. My coffee was refilled several times. A good breakfast. read more
