    Fried Chicken and Waffle
    Yasmine S.

I really tried to give this place the benefit of the doubt but after two visits, I won't be back. The first time I ate here, I ended up having to rush to the bathroom shortly after. I figured maybe it was just a fluke, so I gave them another shot. Big mistake. I came back today and ordered the chicken and waffles, the chicken was dry, bland, and lacked any real flavor, but the waffle itself was actually pretty good. Unfortunately, both me and my boyfriend ended up with the runs not long after eating. So it wasn't just me this time. Safe to say, whatever's going on in that kitchen isn't agreeing with anyone's stomach. I wanted to like this place, but two strikes and I'm out.

GriddleCakes was amazing! Came for brunch with my boyfriend and we ordered fresh squeezed orange juice, "The Lover" Combo, and "The Jackpot" and added chocolate chips & bananas. We were in love with this spot, the food was so tasty and our server was so kind along with the other staff. The establishment is very clean as well. Lots of parking as well!

    The griddle skillet

I love griddle cakes, first time having this location and it was terrible. The potatoes were undercooked. The chicken was that prepackaged chicken with no seasoning barely any spinach. Very disappointing

Tried this based on Yelp reviews and weren't disappointed. A nice diner atmosphere with about a dozen tables. Service was welcoming and friendly, with the server coming back a few times to make sure we had full coffee and drinks. Food portions were good, hot, and generous. Will definitely come back next time we are in LV for a stay.

    Sirloin Melt Lunch

Food is phenomenal, I usually get the gordo with scrambled eggs or the sirloin melt with mayo on the side with a healthy dose of the blue jay stack. Their service is usually fast and the staff is super sweet, friendly, and helpful! The restaurant is small so get there early.

Everything about this place was delicious!! I'm not gonna lie it's small, but food is amazing and plenty, service was great, & the ambiance clean & cute! We will absolutely be visiting again, btw the red velvet pancakes are heavenly!

Garden skillet with added Carne Asada, and fruit on the side.

Griddlecakes is absolutely fantastic--both the food and the service are top-notch. I had the Garden Skillet and added carne asada, and it was incredible. In fact, I loved it so much, I came back three days in a row. If that doesn't say I'm a fan, I don't know what does. The breakfast is consistently excellent, and the service is just as impressive. A special shoutout to Manny--he's awesome and made every visit even better. Highly recommend!

El Gordo skillet and Blueberry lemonade

Delicious!!! I ordered the El Gordo skillet, it was so good! My mom ordered the Eggs Benedict and really enjoyed hers as well. I recommend the blueberry lemonade, yummy!!! Excellent customer service too!!!

Combo with egg whites, turkey sausage, and lemon blueberry pancake

This was a decent breakfast meal overall without anything truly exceptional. The inside is kind of haphazard with boxes and styrofoam containers stacked in the corner and just an overall unkempt appearance. The staff were friendly and knowledgeable about the menu. Soft drinks are served in large mason jars which is good if you're thirsty. I opted for a combo with egg whites, turkey sausage, and a lemon blueberry pancake. Everything was decent. The pancake had a nice lemon flavor with quite a few blueberries in the batter and a few sprinkled on top. Tasty but honestly nothing amazing or mind blowing in terms of a pancake. Overall a satisfying meal but nothing extraordinary.

    My Jumbo Breakfast choice!

Whoa! An amazing breakfast! Who knew? The restaurant is kind of small but the food is amazing! My hubby had the meat lover's omelette and I had the jumbo breakfast platter....that in itself could feed a small village. (My eyes were bigger than my body) My pancakes were yummy and bigger than my face. Eggs and bacon were cooked to perfection. The real bonus was the staff who simply could not do enough for you. Our waiter was Manny - who just made you feel so welcomed. Also the orange juice was so good with a lot of pulp. The way I enjoy orange juice. You just gotta try this place!

We came on a Monday morning during Spring Break around 9 am. It was fairly empty which was nice to have a break from the hustle and bustle of life. We were warmly greeted and sat at a half booth four top. The server gave us time to decide on our final choices, even though we scouted the menu ahead of time, making that final decision is tough! So many good options! My son got the kid's Happyface Griddlecakes with bacon and we also checked in on Yelp to get a bonus free Griddlecake. He also got an orange juice for his drink. I ordered the Garden Skillet with scrambled eggs and sourdough. My mom basically ordered a Garden omelet sans peppers with rye toast, and my dad ordered the 3 egg meal with sourdough and a coffee. The juice came in a kid covered styrofoam cup which even for a 10 year old you can't ever be too careful. The juice was fresh squeezed and light on pulp. Very tasty. Coffee was being topped off left and right so much that my dad had to decline after a few. So service was definitely on point! Our meals came out and each plate was a nice portion and perfect temperature. The Happyface Griddlecake was like a certain famous mouse shaped head with a whipped cream eyes and mouth and two slices of bacon. It completely filled my son's belly so we were able to save the extra Griddlecake for another meal. My garden skillet was gigantic! The eggs were fluffy and the vegetables and potatoes underneath were well seasoned and so flavorful! My mom also enjoyed her omelet and my dad downed his eggs and potatoes. It was a nice hearty meal to send them on the road back to California. Not too heavy that you feel sick (then again we took leftovers home) but just right. Service was friendly and we had a really good time. They even helped us take a group picture altogether. Reliable, tasty, good portions, and won't break the bank.

This is crab cakes that had no flavor and as you can see burnt!

The food can improve, definitely cold breakfast and burnt crab cakes are not good for any place!

Nice clean restaurant, friendly fast service, and delicious food. Reasonably priced when you consider the portions.

Does this restaurant use a shared fryer for things like battered chicken that would cross contaminate foods like gluten free home fries? I have Celiac disease and have to eat gluten free.

What flavor are your gluten free pancakes?

Apparently, "we'll go to breakfast" has become code for "we'll eventually eat...sometime before…read moredinner." A friend and I had every intention of heading out for breakfast at a reasonable hour, but life had other plans. By the time we finally made it out the door, I was still firmly on Team Breakfast, my friend had crossed over to Team Lunch, and we were both at the point where we'd have considered eating the steering wheel. Enter Mr. Mamas. After scrolling through Yelp, it consistently landed in our top three choices. Neither of us had been before, so we figured, "Why not?" Spoiler alert: excellent decision. By pure luck, we were seated next to the owners. Now, I can't honestly tell you who "Mr. Mama" is because, as the saying goes, behind every successful man is an incredible woman. Ron and Teresa were welcoming from the moment we sat down, and I always appreciate seeing restaurant owners eating their own food. If they're choosing to eat there on their day, that's usually a pretty good sign. The menu is huge--in the best way possible. Whether you're craving breakfast, lunch, or you're dining with someone who can't decide what meal they're emotionally attached to, they've got you covered. I ordered the Cali Omelette, swapped the potatoes for fresh berries, upgraded to pepper jack cheese, asked for the sour cream on the side, and after asking about their green salsa, Ron encouraged me to order an extra side. Ron...you were right. That green salsa deserves its own Yelp account. Fresh and flavorful, and I found myself putting it on every bite. My friend ordered the cheeseburger and fries, and we learned their beef is fresh, never frozen. You can absolutely taste the difference. It was juicy, flavorful, and disappeared suspiciously fast. As for my omelette? I'd order it again in a heartbeat...which is saying something because there are at least a dozen other dishes I already want to come back and try. Naomi took great care of us, and Nick, the manager, was every bit as friendly and engaging as Ron and Teresa. You can tell the hospitality starts at the top and trickles down to the entire staff. Clean restaurant. Great energy. Friendly people. Delicious food. Generous portions. Zero complaints. Some restaurants simply serve food. Others make you feel like you've been invited over for breakfast by people who are genuinely happy you're there. Mr. Mamas is the second kind. Whether you're a Las Vegas local or just passing through, do yourself a favor: show up hungry...and don't skip the green salsa.
