Very nice and comfy for a 2 day bus ride from Las Cruces NM to Warsaw Indiana and back

Stopped here several times on my way through and It's not the best bus depot let's put it that way. The few times I've been here (ranging in times of day) it was dirty and rather crazy. If you can "hold it" I would suggest waiting til you get to the next stop. We also had a guy almost get left there while he was smoking, so be careful. read more

I'm the kind of person who will still use a service even if all the reviews are nasty. However, I definitely regret that. This was the worst service I have ever received in my entire life. I got to the Minneapolis station around 5:45am to catch a 6:40am bus. I knew it was already a bad idea to use Greyhound when I came in the building and people were harassing me for money and someone was trying to unzip my backpack on my back. I went up to the ticket counter to check my bag in and the front counter employee was clearly not happy about helping her customers. I guess it wasn't a big deal but it left me feeling uneasy. I eventually got in line for my bus and was careful to always be clenching all of my baggage. I waited and waited and waited until someone came on the intercom and said our bus was was delayed until further notice. I was freaking out because I had to get on the bus or else I would miss my connecting bus. Five minutes later they announced the bus was cancelled because the driver never showed up. After that there was a huge line of people crying and freaking out while the front counter tried to reroute everyone. Some were completely screwed having to wait TWO days for the next bus with no vouchers of any sort. I luckily got a noon bus to Des Moines and then to Omaha, but that six hour delay screwed up my AirBnb reservation and left me very unhappy. After finally hitting noon, I was greeted by a very rude and demeaning bus driver who said he would kick anyone off talking too loud or sitting in the seats sideways. Leaving Minneapolis we stopped at the airport for a pickup and we were stuck there for 45 MINUTES waiting for another bus to move out of the way. On the way to Des Moines, we became over an hour and half late. Yes, to my disbelief I missed the connecting bus from Des Moines to Omaha. I was completely livid. I had to reschedule TWICE and the bus driver said that we needed to get over it and to not complain to him about it. Long story short, I was stuck in Des Moines for another 5 hours. I went around to building to look for a gas station and saw someone digging in their bag and pulling out a needle and a small baggie. I was just completely shocked. There was absolutely no security there. I'm not anyone of high class to look down on others for using bus services, but I just felt that something was a little off that someone was shooting up right next to the door for employees. At the end I was supposed to be in Omaha at 3:30pm and I ended up arriving there at 2am the next day. No apologies. No help. Whenever I asked to be rescheduled I was treated like an inconvenience. I am solo-19yr old traveler, no matter how cheap I want to be I will never be using Greyhound services again. I strongly advise any of you stay away and spend a little bit extra to fly. I will literally help you find a cheap flight so you don't have to go through this. read more

Before I had a vehicle I had to rely on this mode of transportation between Minneapolis and Des Moines. The bus ride itself did not present any issues to me, it was clean and usually there was plenty of space. The station here is a bit different. The station was pretty dirty everytime I would be waiting for my bus here. I would often see the staff cleaning the station, but it still appears to be filthy. Many of the passengers here consists mainly of either students or individuals who appear to not be traveling for a work related event. I have never felt unsafe waiting for the bus here, I have felt uncomfortable though. read more

Not the greatest bus station, but redeems itself due to the cheaper mode of transportation. I took the Greyhound for the first time to Minneapolis over the summer of 2012. I was initially fearful because of mixed reviews of the service. The bus station itself is not the greatest place. It's tolerable, but only stay in there for as little as you can. The bathrooms are extremely dirty and unsanitary. The station is small and can be quite crowded when everyone is on the go. Customer service is reliable because they always have an employee that announces arrival/departure dates or can distribute tickets. There are several arcade and vending machines against the wall if you want to distract yourself from the sketchiness of the station.. Some of the seats are disfigured in the waiting area, so it just shows how much the place is maintained. Bus rides are full or empty depending on the time and location. Going to Minneapolis at a 5 pm on Friday was empty for me. Getting two seats to yourself is the best since sleeping isn't comfortable. You get bathroom breaks on bus stops so don't worry about using the bus toilet if you're squeamish. If you can, take the Megabus if there's a route for your destination. It's cheaper and more comfortable! Greyhound redeems itself so it gets you where you need to be cheaper than an airplane ticket. read more

Rolled in here late one night for an overnight stay before leaving later the next day. Thank god it was air conditioned since it was over a hundred during my brief time here. The bathrooms are sketchy and there are no restaurants close by. They sell food behind the counter and there are plenty of vending machines. Lots of diversity beyond my own ethnicity - a great place to watch people. read more

I paid 158 for a greyhound ticket that promised wifi. I got onto the second leg of my trip just to find out that they don't offer it on this bus. Absolutely ridiculous scam, I picked a bus so I could get work done during my journey and because of their false advertisement I had to pay an excessive amount to not received what I was promised read more

Online booking system is a total joke. Forces you to print your own ticket, doesn't allow smart phones to show proof of purchase, can't be checked in at the station using a confirmation number. Get with the times. read more

After long hold on phone, I was forced to send email to request refund. Then, the reply email ask me to call again to give credit card number in order to get refund. Another long hold and finally talked to a person. I paid more than $30 but only get less than $24 back. Greyhound really knows way to keep customer's money and make customer unhappy! read more

The woman at the ticket counter was so rude! Also the bathrooms were DISGUSTING! In the women's bathroom, the toilets looked like someone glued sand paper to their rear end and danced on it for a while .. just gross. And there was no soap in in the soap dispensers. I was SO glad I carried hand sanitizer with me. read more
