I have had many struggles with my disease over the years, he has always been there to help. He even will work through a lunch so I can travel almost 3 hours for an appointment. I met with Dr Samec today who will now be my physician. He was familiar with my med history which put me at ease. He spent what I felt was a great deal of time talking to me and asking questions. He was so very patient with me as I shared issues about my med history I wanted him to be aware of. Dr Samec is experienced, thoughtful and caring. Working closely with Dr Samec is PA Laurie Hughell. If you are seeking treatment for osteoporosis or rheumatoid arthritis, I recommend Dr Samec and Laurie Hughell. I have trusted my care to this office for 18 years. I rarely write reviews but if you are new to the area or looking for a new provider, I highly recommend this team. Mutual trust must be the bedrock of a good doctor/patient relationship.

She is warm and friendly and takes the time to explain your options. She listens to your concerns and addresses them. After being blown off by another doctor, she's a breath of fresh air. She also practices women's health so she's a one stop shop. So glad I found her!

He was fine, and we went back it to get the one he missed, but this seems like serious negligence. Should have learned, I thought it was a fluke, but a few years later they gave my daughter a prescription for antibiotics that was stronger than an adult dose because they accidentally doubled it. We are now changing offices because we no longer trust the staff.

Intersection of NW 36th and N Ankeny Blvd. the PA Brandon Mitchell is super thorough! They usually can get you in same day as long as you call ahead for appointment. They are open M-F 8-5. Which is pretty standard for a doctors office. They have no appointments from 12-1 pm for lunch. New patients are always welcome and they are great at working with insurances! Didn't think I would review a doctors office but they are a great group. Beautiful office with ample parking and new equipment!

Anyone reading this review and considering this office for either themselves or their children, please know that this is the most respected ENT clinic in the area. My son has very complex medical problems, so unfortunately we are very familiar with a laundry list of specialists. So trust me when I say I know my way around a good office and a bad office. I know the difference between a good provider and a bad provider. Dr Young takes care of our little boy and he takes care of pretty much every medically complex child in our area. In fact, I just recommended him to someone today, which is when I saw the shocking (yet solitary) 1 star review while going to copy and paste the phone number. I'm familiar with other people who work in this office as well. The people that work here really know their stuff and their hearing booth is state of the art. So happy to have a wonderful ENT clinic near us!

Terrible time getting reimbursed…read more We saw Dr. Young who provided fine care. Had to pay out of pocket- nearly $6,000- as my child was not on our insurance yet. It took 3 months to get reimbursed despite insurance also coming thru 2 months prior. Got the run around from office staff with several conflicting excuses-- put on a reimbursement list, check is cut-should see it any day, billing isn't in house, etc. Finally getting to the point of absurdity and blatant disregard, we had called several days in a row, leaving voicemails and not getting anywhere or thru to anyone to help, at our whits end. Front desk must have gotten in touch with billing that was apparently 'closed' and the FINALLY sent the funds back to the card I originally paid with. Pretty easy fix for the absolute nightmare we went through to get repaid for a service rendered in early June. Would not recommend.
