I arrived at the new location in Des Moines at 4:55, 5 minutes prior to my pick-up time. Upon arrival, no one was there to help me. I tried calling their location's number and Budget Trucks' main help number, and I received no answer for 15 minutes. Once I was finally able to get on the phone with someone, they informed me that I would not be able to get a moving truck for a couple of hours and that I would have to drive to an even further location (that would still count against my mileage). I was forced to find another moving truck (which was basically impossible) for the next day. All in all, we canceled the reservation, but I would never go to this place again.

And so greatful to get our possession here. Their prices are so much higher than other companies such as Uhaul, but we were in desperate need of a moving truck. The truck was nice, it didn't break down like our Uhaul. It had a very roomy back. Even though the deck was higher it was easy to load and unload with the ramp. We dropped the truck off there was a bit of paperwork to fill out in the after hours drop box. Which was convenient.

Scheduled an appointment for an inspection for a roaring sound coming from the car. The person who…read morehelped me upon entering (was welcoming) did not disclose any cost for the service. They quoted me just under $3,000 to change the gaskets, replace the catalytic convertor, and a myriad of other parts and services related to replacing the exhaust system. They also recommended I change the spark plugs. I had new spark plugs installed less than 100 miles earlier. When I asked them about this, they said it was only a "mileage based recommendation". Why should I trust any of their other diagnoses if they wanted $205 to replace spark plugs I just had installed? When I declined the service, the guy assisting me at the counter requested $49 "to throw at the technician". Not wanting an argument at the counter, I paid and figured I'd dispute the charges later. They put on a good front with the bottled water, shuttle service, and Biblical references on their website. They seem to have forgotten Matthew 22:39; the first verse they quote..."Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself" I was able to go to a local shop and they welded/fixed the flex pipe for $120 without any of the BS.
