The truck should not have been put on the road. The tie rods had to have been completely shot. Even though driving conditions were perfect - sunny, moderate wind from the south, not a lot of traffic, every time I went down hill, I thought that I would lose control of the vehicle. When I went above 65 MPH, the truck would start to shimmy from side to side. If you rent from Budget, please ask to take a road test before accepting a vehicle. If the steering is loose, ask for a different truck.
