In May of 2024, Citrus Hills Construction (the developer and construction company for the…read morecommunity)destroyed our back yard and our fence to build a large retaining wall for the house down the hill from us. Our backyard was finally graded and sod laid in May 2025 (ONE YEAR LATER!). After numerous emails and talking to Citrus Hills Construction employees, we got tired of waiting for our fence to be replaced. So, we hired our fence company to do just that. We also paid for two months of watering of the new sod. Lastly, 44 feet of a replacement fence was erected on top of the retaining wall, which is not on our property. So, a new fence was erected on someone else's property and is no longer an asset to our property. We have asked to be reimbursed for this asset that is no longer part of our property. We have asked for a total of $2,667 total reimbursement. We have supplied receipts. We sent an email to the General Counsel at Villages of Citrus Hills on Sept. 8. We sent a certified letter on Sept. 12. We received an email from their Administrative Assistant on Sept. 19 that they were "looking into our fencing concern and will be in touch as soon as he can". That was 10 days ago and we have yet to get this resolved. Why can't companies do the right thing?
