The sliding door onto my lanai had always been heavy to open and close. Finally decided to see if this problem could be fixed and called RC Window and Doors. I spoke with Jen in their office and she was able to explain what the likely problem might be and scheduled an appointment for Ron to come and work on my door. He did a wonderful job! He fixed the sliding issue and replaced the handle, which had become loose over time because of the energy needed to open and close the door itself. Now my sliding door glides smoothly, the new handle locks properly and I couldn't be happier! I have used them several times. Owner is very nice. The work is good but they are very expensive. Also, the quality of the product they use is poor for the high price they charge. The last thing they did for me did not last even two years Before it broke. Wife who handles the calls is not the nicest either. I cannot fault the workmanship on my sliders. They work great, they open smoothly, and I'm happy that everything is fixed. However, given that a nylon roller costs less than $10 and they were at my home for less than one hour; they had the nerve to charge $600. I am appalled! I just had Ron here to fix my sliding glass door. The rollers were shot and he installed new acrylic rollers. I was actually shocked when I went to open the door at how easy it was to open!
