My contractor ordered doors for our rebuild after being debated by flood this past August due to…read moreHurricane Idalia. He was told they would be in today. Now, I'm a reasonable person, but consider people's word to be the MOST important part of a business relationship. In this case, my money - through the contractor - to their word. Well, today Michelle said, although the doors were to be picked up TODAY, that now it could be April 15th. Maybe sooner, maybe later. That is the antithesis of good business practice. I called her myself because she REFUSED to give my money back. She said it was a special order. Now tell me that a millworker company does NOT know that their doors are backordered. They just take the order and then wait to give the sob story that it's not THEIR fault, those darned supplies JUST dried up. Really? I mean, seriously?? We've been screwed by insurance, screwed by the Texas contractor, and now I guess we're in line to get screwed again. As if not having a home since August isn't bad enough. :-( I can 'special order' doors through Home Depot and all of our neighbors have gotten them already. I chose to use a LOCAL company and this is the non-value value we get from them. My advice? Stay away from- stay far away from Al & Sons Millwork. She ended up telling me she didn't want to do business with ME because I called her out on it. She knew I was right, she just chose the alley instead of the high road...

I believed I had scheduled an appointment, but it turned out I had only scheduled a call to make an appointment. I never got that call, and I wasted an hour waiting for them because believed I had an appointment, or at least that was the excuse I received when they called back days later. I scheduled another appointment with them when they called days later, and that appointment came and went with the no service and no phone calls. I wasted hours of my life only to be called to schedule another appointment that did not happen. I received a second apology call today, at 8PM, in which the technician called me buddy, made demands of me, talked poorly of the company, and expected my pity because he had been out for the day at the hospital. I totally understand changing appointments, but there needs to be a phone call letting the customer know PRIOR to the time of service, not five hours later. This is not the call center or technicians fault, someone in management needs to evaluate their systems, I am sure I am not the first person to have this issue. TLDR Don't call them, they don't show up to appointments, don't answer their own phones, and then act like it is your fault. PS the hours of operation don't match reality.

The customer service has been phenomenal. Mike helped develop a few different quotes for me to choose from, I was able to see what the different window options would look like on my home, he explained what the process would be like, and went over their financing options. The windows arrived on time and the installation was completed in one day. They also handled the permit process for us start to finish. Mike and Vinny have truly gone above and beyond. If you need windows or doors for your home or business I highly recommend reaching out to them. I don't think they could have made it any easier for us. Truly hassle free. Definitely worth the money spent & the financing makes it very accessible.
