We've been screwed by insurance, screwed by the Texas contractor, and now I guess we're in line to get screwed again. As if not having a home since August isn't bad enough. :-( I can 'special order' doors through Home Depot and all of our neighbors have gotten them already. I chose to use a LOCAL company and this is the non-value value we get from them. My advice? Stay away from- stay far away from Al & Sons Millwork. I received a second apology call today, at 8PM, in which the technician called me buddy, made demands of me, talked poorly of the company, and expected my pity because he had been out for the day at the hospital. I totally understand changing appointments, but there needs to be a phone call letting the customer know PRIOR to the time of service, not five hours later. This is not the call center or technicians fault, someone in management needs to evaluate their systems, I am sure I am not the first person to have this issue. TLDR Don't call them, they don't show up to appointments, don't answer their own phones, and then act like it is your fault. PS the hours of operation don't match reality.

The hole in the wall was plugged, leading me to believe it was deliberately covered up. It was an additional expense to have it replaced.
