Very distraught and upset with the service that I got at the service center I had them put a new radiator in I got the truck back with the oil coolant lines leaking after paying $645 to have a steering box also and check for any other coolant leaks so all can be repaired they discovered a leak in the intake manifold they told me about it but did not repair it, they also did not hook my air horn back up after replacing the radiator shroud I took the truck back down there over the leaks and the non-operating horn and they wanted to charge me an additional $400 to replace the coolant lines and another $700 to fix the upper and lower manifold gasket, I'm all done with these people the last time I had my truck there I got my truck back drove it back to the Soldiers Home in Chelsea and they were smoke coming from under the hood upon observation there was a rag on the exhaust manifold now I spend good money with these guys and I feel like they're very disrespectful and then they want to say that I'm a complainer but the quality of service is poor as far as I'm concerned they do not road test the car my steering is still not right so I'm going down to get my truck I guess I have to take it somewhere else to have the oil leaks fixed and the horn properly hooked back up just a waste of time and money read more

I was warned, YEARS ago, about the way he deals with women and I didn't listen, I thought, Nah, I'm a likable character. ‍ I've only ever stopped in there because that's where I get my gas (& I LOVE THE GUYS WHO WORK FOR HIM). Anyways, I needed my headlight replaced. They've done it for me, a few times, before. I've always been charged $20, NEVER MORE. Two days ago, when stopping for gas, they replaced it, again, but THIS time, Greg's, charged me $50 (said my "light is hard to get to.") AND NOW my lights aren't working correctly. I stopped by yesterday, the older mechanic (Nice guy, he's the one who put it in) said, "Please come back in the morning and I'll take care of it for you." So I did and the fahk'n kid, who by the way never looks me in the eyes, Says, "Yeah, Can't do it today. You live up the street, right? Just come back tomorrow." WTF? I set THIS morning aside, it's THEIR fahk up and the kid walked away, then kept walking past me each time I tried to talk to him. Now mind you, even with the (combined) serious up charge, the lights not working right, my time being dicked around and this kid's douchebaggery, I still waited patiently, to talk to him, but, when he ignored me again, the only thing I said was, "I'm trying SO hard to give you the benefit of the doubt and right this." This guys are awesome!!! My work van broke down and I first took to a place where I got the estimation of $1,200 and didn't fell confidence with the guy, so, I called my friend and he suggest me to bring to Greg's Service Center which I did. Once I get there I talked to Bob one of the guys that works there and right of way I new that I was on the right place. They fixed my van within a day and guess what ??? The price was $600 half of what I had quoted for. This is my place to take my car now and I highly recommend to anyone that are looking to get their car fix. I went here twice. Once to put in a motor mount. A second time to put in a different motor mount and to replace the oxygen sensor, since I had a code. I provided all the parts aftermarket. But on the oxygen sensor, you cross-threaded it. I do a fair amount of my own repairs (such as brakes and oil changes), and I can tell you that you should never cross-thread a bolt or, even worse, a sensor or spark plug. If you do (hey, caca happens), then you should re-thread the hole to fix your mistake. Unless you did not realize your mistake. Do your mechanics know what they are doing? Are they ASE certified? Do they care? I"m guess the answers to these are no, no, and no. I had to return several times on one repair because they had a hard time fitting me in. Their labor rate is $85 per hour, which is on par or slightly less than other places in the area. There is no decent place to park here because their lot is overrun with various random (broken?) vehicles. All-in-all this place does not present a professional appearance. But hey, it's a gas station and it's Chelsea, right? I am giving three stars instead of 1 or 2 because it is hard to find a place that allows you to put in aftermarket parts. Most places won't allow it for various reasons. Many garages want to profit from reselling parts (such as the nearby Reggie's); or they think aftermarket parts are all junk and don't want to be responsible for the repair; or they think you are too dumb to actually order the correct part, which is a more valid argument. So you have to convince them that you are in fact not dumb and you did your homework when ordering the part. Despite what some places tell you, most aftermarket parts are just as good and even better than OEM -- Gates makes great belts and NRG great spark plugs, and AC Delco is the OEM for all GM cars -- and if you know what you are doing (avoid junk parts), aftermarket parts are usually a better deal. read more

I don't know much about cars so I can't speak to how well they fixed my car or if they treated me fairly; however, Mike definitely took his time to explain what we could do to move forward with my 2010 Honda salvage title car. I took my car back the next day to "finish up" running diagnostics on my car which did take the whole day but they didn't charge me for that (probably because I did some convincing on not charging me). I can't think of anything they did that was stellar to warrant a 5 star but their charges seemed fair and Mike's service and attitude was great. I would come back again. read more

DO NOT GO HERE! My dad had gone in a few years ago for a simple alternator swap and they were trying to sell him additional parts & services that weren't needed (confirmed with 2 other shops that Greg's Auto Repair were just full of it). Recently, I went to Greg's Auto because I had a flat tire (I had my own spare tire). I asked the guys working for a quote on the labor and they said $15 bucks. After an hour wait (normally this should take 20 mins or so) the mechanic came out and told me to go talk to the boss to pay. The owner's son was in charge that day who told me that my total was $38. I told him that the mechanic had quoted me $15 total and he responded "I don't give a F*** what anyone says, I'm the boss and I said that you owe me $38!". I asked to speak with the mechanic who had quoted me, but he was too scared to come out and admit that he was not allowed to give out quotes on repairs. I was lied to & treated like dirt. I knew that I shouldn't had gone to Greg's Auto to change my tire but it was the only place that was open after 5pm and that was close to my house. Next time I will simply leave work early and go to Reggie's auto down the street on Second Street who are 100 times nicer than these rats! read more

I was so lucky to find this place!! My fan belt broke on the Tobin Bridge and the engine light, oil and battery all lit up on my dashboard. I thankfully made it to Greg's (barely!) and they could not have been more expeditious, friendly and inexpensive in the repairs of my Toyota. They quickly looked at my car, ordered the part from another garage in the area, and fixed it all within an hour. I was seriously impressed and would recommend this shop to anyone. Terrible service! I just went there for a price and when I told the guy I didn't want them to do anything on my car he got mad. All of my tires were off and I told him I needed to leave and he said "well when we get a chance to put them back on we will", even after I told him I had an emergency he refused to put on my tires or have someone else do it.
