Our Rheem AC unit was giving us problems. It was very loud, and every time we called the original installer to come and inspect it, he basically said there was nothing wrong. We finally decided to find someone that was a reputable technician and get a second opinion. My husband found Greg's Air Solutions and was impressed with all the reviews. We contacted Greg and he came out the very next day to inspect our AC. He immediately noticed that it was in fact a compressor problem, previously identified by my husband, but disregarded by the installer. Greg said he had to procure a new compressor and indicated he would come back the next day. Greg had to drive all the way down to West Miami to find the compressor and come back to our house in Fort Lauderdale. He completed the repair in less than a few hours. We can't say enough good things about him. He's knowledgeable, honest, kind, and gave us great customer service. Greg did a great job! Showed up on time, had everything needed to do the job, was extremely detailed with setting up, and throughout the entire process. Covered all the floors with mats and worked until everything was completed. Installed a new circuit breaker to support the heating system, as well as installed a new thermostat. Greg deserves 10 stars. I called my regular AC people who put a new unit in back in March just as covid hit. Everyone in my family uses them. I have 2 AC units and the one that was not replaced in March stopped blowing cool air last night and when I called them they told me they couldn't come until Monday (today is Friday) but if I want before Monday I can call Saturday but the price for emergency service call was going to be quite high. So off to yelp I went as there was no way I was waiting or paying a ridiculous amount for a Saturday call in addition to fixing the problem. I went with Greg based on his reviews. I called him at 830 told me he would be here between 10/11 and he literally just left my home (it's now 1045) and my AC is working like a dream. He is a polite as they come. He is as professional as they come and he is very very reasonable. He had to replace a part which caused me to be low on Freon which he put in and he deducted the 40.00 diagnostic fee from the total cost. I asked him if he charges more for weekend calls or after hours and he does not. He is on call 7 days a week and holidays. I could not be more pleased with the service I received and without a doubt Greg is my new go to AC technician and will be recommending him to my family and friends.
