Nicely decorated, clean, small town coffee shop and bakery. My husband and I grabbed coffee and breakfast sandwiches here on our way from Rochester to Toronto. They have baked goods too, and we each picked a few discounted day-old items for our travels (fresh baked stuff is available as well). The counter service was pleasant and prices in line with other cafes of this type. A nice detour! read more

Cupcakes and TO DIE FOR!!! My family ordered some awhile back for a wedding shower, lemme tell you, them cupcakes make my week worth it haha!!! Light n fluffy, perfect ratios. Friendly staff, welcoming vibe. Cute lil shop! I highly recommend. Also I've ordered an apple pie with a crumbly top crust (forgot what it's called lol) and it was so yummy read more

We were searching for a new place to try in upstate New York We were searching for bread typical of downstate like Ciabata, semolina or sour dough. Well, we weren't successful finding it in Rochester. We did find Gregory they make homemade rolls cupcakes and pastry and yes, we did try their breads. Everything was cooked hot and fresh and was delicious. Only complaint was the beverage selection was minimal and the coffee was cold. Make your way and find Gregory because they will not disappoint you, but you won't be wowed either read more

Nice hometown bakery right on Main Street in Bergen. Very cute inside and small tables to seat down. There baked goods are amazing and always fresh. They serve lunch and also make fresh breads. Note: if you are looking for something special call ahead as when I went there about noon pretty much everything baked goods was wiped out. read more

A gem of a bakery in the small village of Bergen! If your heading out to Rochester it is definitely worth the stop! In fact it's not too far from the Bergen exit on the 490 so if you are passing by do yourself a favor and get one of their delicious sweet treats! From scones, to muffins, to cookies, to pies, to pastries, coffeecakes, brownies, and turnovers, they have something for everyone! They even have treats for your furry friends! They have cakes and cupcakes for any and all events you may be planning. They also have bread and lunch. I have tried quite a variety of their sweet treats but my favorite by far is the turnovers. You really can't go wrong with any of them, but the apple turnovers are so flaky and stuffed just right, they really melt in your mouth. If your in the area, or really if you just need to get away for a day, head out to Bergen and enjoy this amazing little place! read more

Greg'ry's - Chocolate chip cookie and raspberry turnover... yumm! - Bakeries Near Me - Bergen, New York

I can't wait to come back here and try more just so I can review more. I stopped in since I travel past this location for work. Not only baked goods, but they have lunch specials! I got a loaf of their cinnamon bread as well as a bag of scones. Both were delicious. Cute spot for coffee or lunch! Scones - apricot white chocolate were absolutely perfect read more

Shop small...when I find myself in a small town, I try to find local shops, especially bakery shops! Greg'ry's is a throwback to days when Blakey's served their wares along with coffee and light food. Greg'ry's is such a place. There were so many locals going in, I decided I better try it, so I did! Oh, decisions, decisions. I opted for a lemon turnover. It was a generous portion with a flaky crust and flavorful filling. You won't find this at Wegman's. (Don't try eating it in the car, either, when I say flakey crust, I'm not kidding!) The staff was wearing green t-shirts with a logo that seemed familiar somehow (insert giggling smiley here) as it is a little piece of home. Milwaukee Iron is now also part of a small-town bakery. (It was created with permission, too, so don't ask.) There are two chances of me ever returning to Bergen, and Slim is on a diet. Just the same, Greg'ry's will long remain in my memory! read more

This place is a local gem and it's worth stopping every chance you get. It's a quaint cozy little local bakery with the most amazing baked goods. Pies, cakes, cookies and pastries are all about the best you can get anywhere. But wait, there's more! They are a great little place to stop for breakfast or lunch as well. Everything is scratch made in-house and reasonably priced. I stop at least once a week for a breakfast sandwich. It's been around for years and has lots of local charm. read more

The best bakery around the area family owned and there food is amazing would really recommend

There isn't much in the little town of Bergen: a pizza shop, a bar, and Greg'ry's. If you live within driving distance, I'd highly recommend a visit! The bakery looks like it was built in an empty space between two existing brick buildings - done in such a way that they put up a wall at the front and the back of the two buildings in order to connect them, and left the outer brick walls of the adjacent buildings as the interior side walls. It's quaint. It's homey. It's really cute! When I first walked in, I thought, "Oh, they don't have much display room." It's a lot more than it seems at first glance! Lots of pies, cookies, scones, and breads. They also serve sandwiches and lattes. The staff is friendly, and I heard them call more than one customer by name while I was sitting there, so it seems they have a pretty regular base of customers. I stopped in for a pastry for dessert, but can't wait to go back and try their sandwiches! read more

Awesome small-town bakery in Bergen, NY! Greg'ry's has been a staple in this tiny downtown strip for over 30 years. When you walk in, the pastry case is brimming with alluring baked goods: crumb muffins, pies, fruit & cream cheese mini loafs, pretty cupcakes, cookies, eclairs, and cream puffs. There are stacks of homemade bread on shelves. There is a small breakfast menu listed on a chalkboard. I ordered an apple crumb muffin and a coffee (self-serve from their coffee station). I also picked up a loaf of their whole wheat sandwich bread and a giant eclair to go. There are several small tables sit at. While I enjoyed my treat, a few women were bustling around the kitchen preparing orders and baking; Greg'ry's does a great catering business. Several patrons that appeared to be regulars were in and out. And one other gentleman sat and ate a breakfast sandwich, and said it was amazing-- next time! My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed the whole wheat bread for toast and sandwiches throughout the week. Greg'ry's is totally worth a stop if you're passing through. It's only a minute away from the 490 Bergen exit. I will consider using them for future holidays when I need rolls or baked goods! read more

I can't say enough good things about their baked goods. A 40 mile round trip is not even a slight inconvenience for these delicious Molasses cookies. Hate to leave this good review because it's just the right kind of busy. Everything is excellent. You can order ahead or just walk in and pick up what looks good. However, they make desserts daily and often sellout by the end of the day. The staff is friendly and the prices are very good. I love everything about this place. The carrot cake, order days in advance, is the best I have ever had! It's a small place in Bergen NY, nothing better anywhere! read more

I'm not sure who marked it closed, and why. The place is open and doing great. When it comes to baking they know their stuff. I've become a big fan of their coffee cakes. They use honey in their cakes, which is amazing. The people who work there are very friendly. Anyone going on I-490 to/from Rochester, NY; take Exit-2 towards Bergen. You won't regret it. read more

Gregry's has been around since I was kid, and they've always had the best pastries and breads. Their cookies are huge (my favorite when I was younger) and their raspberry cheesecake bread things are so good. Recently they started to do breakfast sandwiches, and soups and salads for lunch. Their breakfast sandwiches are my absolute favorite - a fried egg, made right in front of you, choice of meat, and cheese, on a hard roll they bake themselves. The roll is awesome. It's the best breakfast sandwich I've had in all of town and in comparison to diners. It just tastes fresh and real. Love this place! read more

My husband got the Cinnamon Roll and it was great. Absolutely no gluten free offerings though except the air.

This place is quaint and cozy with delicious scratch-baked goods. Their homemade soups are the best! My kids love their huge cookies, and it's located in the Village of Bergen, where we live. We were disappointed, though, that they don't make soup or bake bread on Mondays--their "prep" day. read more
