When we were making our plans to paint our interior we already knew we wanted to use Benjamin Moore paint. Gregory's Paint and Flooring had recently opened in Cumming and the timing was perfect. We would be selecting colors for our walls, newly built book cases, and ceiling. Because of our existing trim color, which we liked and wanted to keep, this was going to be a major challenge selecting three colors that would blend and work with the trim. On my first visit I met Rebecca, along with a couple of other very pleasant and knowledge ladies there to help me. I lost count of how many times I was in and out buying samples to take home and test. With every visit Rebecca and ladies always greeted me with a big smile and happy to assist me once again on color selections. Finally, I wised up and decided to take advantage of the in home color consultation with Rebecca. During Rebecca's visit she was amazing..very professional and a expert in her field! We decided on three colors and last Tuesday the painters come and my husband and I LOVE how the colors work together. They are perfect! Looking back I could have saved myself from tons of stress and aggravation, if only I had decided on my first visit to Gregory's to have Rebecca for a in home visit. A few months ago, we decided to paint our daughter's room the same color as the showroom that her big girl bed came from and found out it was a Benjamin Moore paint. Had passed Gregory's dozens of times and went to get the paint. Bought the 2 gallons and went home. Just needed the last gallon to finish about half the room for the second coat and about a wall later, discovered the color was noticeably different than the first can. Lots of hours down the drain, right? Went to see owner and although we all agreed that everything was done right, both gallons mixed at the same time using same formula. Gregory's immediately offered to mix us 2 new gallons at no charge. When we lamented the time already invested and time it would take to repaint again, to our delight and surprise, he also offered to pay to have a pro come out and take car of the issue. The NEXT DAY, we had our daughters room painted and it looks terrific! Gregory's earned our loyalty and we have been back since for other projects. Above and beyond seems rare these days. We recently decided to have the interior of our house painted to get rid of the builder grade yellow walls that we've had since we moved in. After doing some research on the what brand of paint to use, we landed on Benjamin Moore. Next came the difficult part of what colors to paint each room. After looking on Pinterest we had some ideas but still needed that expert opinion. We reached out to our local Benjamin Moore store (Gregory's Paint & Flooring) and connected with Rebecca (one of the owners). We were able to set up a in home consultation very quickly and Rebecca took the time to walk through each room with us and suggest/decide on a color pallet that would flow through the entire house. Rebecca was also very helpful in determining how much paint we would need along with the type of finish as that is very important as well. I am entering one of the more scarey home improvement projects in my 20+ years of homeownership... we're limewashing the BRICK, YIKES! In literally 20 minutes Rebecca Dumas (Owner/Color Consultant) made me feel CONFIDENT and EXCITED about what we are about to do.
