From the time I entered the office everyone was professional, courteous and very welcoming. The front desk is very helpful, organized and friendly. The dental assistants and technicians were outstanding, as well. My name was even listed on the board of the office to welcome me to their practice. Their waiting room is clean and videos are very educational, too. Dr Reza reviewed my x-rays and suggested treatment(s). Everything was completely on board and I felt no pressure regarding his suggestions. The follow-up visit involved repairing (3) of my existing resin tooth fillings (which I already knew were an issue) which has now been completed and I can't be any happier with the outcome of my experience. The only suggestion that I have is that additional signing for the (2) entrances at the back of the building from the parking lot would be helpful. When asked whether the waiting room was regularly cleaned to assess how much of a risk my child was in sitting in the chairs, she said they clean once daily. The staff did not seem concerned about the risk to my child. They also did not seem educated in preventing allergic reactions for future patients. The clinic was clean and the staff were polite albeit uneducated in food allergies. Those with a tree nut allergy be warned.

However, I recently had a disappointing experience with the billing process. After my treatment, I paid the remaining balance and even asked the receptionist if I owed anything else because I wanted to make sure everything was settled. I was told no. Later, I received an invoice reflecting the balance I owe, which turned out to be charges not covered by insurance. While I completely understand that insurance doesn't always cover everything, what bothered me was the lack of communication. A simple heads-up about pending charges would have made a big difference. When I called to clarify, the receptionist pointed to the disclaimer, but after years of being a patient, I had forgotten about it. Unfortunately, the interaction left me feeling more like a number than a valued patient. To be clear: the dentist himself is outstanding, and I have nothing but praise for his work. I've be a patient of Golden Smiles Dental for many years. Dr. Harry always gave me excellent care…read more But I was shocked and surprised for the treatment my adult granddaughter from out-of-town visiting for Christmas received. Her impacted wisdom tooth was causing pain for which she is under her dentist's care. She was hoping to get pain medicine from Golden Smiles Dental to carry her over. But instead, the dentist who saw her did not asked why she was there but told her she needed deep cleaning, a crown on a tooth and wisdom tooth pulled. When she questioned why, the dentist backed off and she waited 45 minutes to get X-ray done. Then she was taken to a room to get quote for all the treatment the dentist suggested with the door wide opened while other staff members looked in. She left without getting help for the pain, but I got a phone call an hour later from GSD offering her antibiotics and pain medicine. Why wasn't it offered to her while she was there? My granddaughter was not intimidated by such tactics. But she was angry that Golden Smiles Dental would treat their patient in pain with such uncaring attitude and underhanded tactics. AND I am angry thinking she would get the care she needed but to have her endure such treatment. Extremely unprofessional. Extremely disappointed.
