At my first appointment Dr Giles was very distant(almost cold) She told me she researched my medications, primarily my Methadone use for past 15t years on Cure. Cure is app for history of patient medication usage and any complications from use of She stated i had no issues reported on this App. i explained to her that since my 1990 injury(s) i had been prescribed many pain and muscle relaxers such as Morphine, Xanax, Demerol and Oxycodone. None of which provided relief as much as the combination of Methadone, Soma and Norco. 3 years ago Soma was no longer available to me Dr Giles began her spill and was pushing PUB. She did state Pub snd Methadone we're cousin. when i started asking ?s about Pub i discovered it came in Patch form and sublingual (under the tung I explained I didn't do well with patches because I sweat I have tried nicotine patches in the past and always had to tape. At this time asked about dosage. I felt she began to contradict herself. So I abruptly felt it best to end my appointment before expressing my concern. Before leaving i did share that my wife and I would do research on PUB and i would make my decision. After our research i decided that i would prefer to continue with tried & true methadone treatment for pain management 2 days after my appointment i left message for Dr Giles that I prefer with Methadone. 5 days after i left message she responded. Stating that i would need to schedule an appointment. She was well aware that i had not had and pain medication for 7 weeks and could barely get up. Fortunately there was an appointment available in a couple days During my 2nd appointment i shared that i prefer to continue with Methadone treatment because it works. She asked me why i wanted a more dangerous medication when she was offering (pushing) a drug more available I stated we had done our research and Pub wasn't all that she made it out to be nor did i need a medication with Narcan in it, because as she knows I haven't had any negative side effects nor any history of abuse At this time Dr Giles stated her patients must be flexible if they wanted to be seen by her. At which time i told her she could have been honest by telling me her intentions rather than having me come back to her. I further stated that if she wasn't willing to help my pain issues in the manner i prefer that i didn't want her as my pain management doctor Before leaving i told Dr Giles she wasted our time because she knew all along she would never prescribe Methadone for me I shared that she has no human-kindness compassion and was very unprofessional That i intended to this with Dignity, blast my experience on Social Media Most recently I received certified letter from Dignity stating i had communication difficulties, behavioral issues and this wouldn't be tolerated. Any 2nd action like this on my part and I wouldn't receive care by Dignity any longer I will be responding with my own letter to address my experience in the near future All they really need to do is look online reviews for Dr Giles snd they could realize something isn't quite right. or maybe they feel it is

I have pretty sensitive teeth so I'm not too fond of the ultrasonic water scaling and didn't know hand scaling was even an option but she asked and I took that route. It's the first time I walk out of the dentist with absolutely no pain or discomfort. Teresa also went out of her way to take a picture of a tooth that might need some preventative care which I appreciated. Highly recommend asking for her if you're in need of a 6 month cleaning :)
