In May 2024, I went in for a revision and was told I would be contacted when my new trays arrived. I never received a call. About two months later, my husband followed up in person and was told they had not received anything for me. There was no proactive communication or effort to resolve the issue. Around that same time, I was quoted nearly $1,000 for a crown, even though my insurance indicated crowns were fully covered. I later learned this office is not a preferred provider, which explained the high out-of-pocket estimate. I ultimately switched to another dentist where my insurance is properly accepted and have since received routine care without issue. After that, the level of service noticeably declined. For months, I tried to schedule an appointment to complete my Invisalign revision, but was repeatedly told I had to see a specific dentist who is only available in the San Bernardino office once a month. Every appointment I scheduled over a three-month period was canceled. I was eventually offered a May appointment, but I will be out of the country at that time. I asked to be seen at another location and went to the Riverside office, clearly explaining that I was there only to complete my Invisalign revision. Despite this, I was repeatedly asked if I wanted a cleaning, encouraged to get a deep cleaning (which I do not need), and even told I should have my wisdom teeth removed--something no other dentist has ever recommended to me. It felt like constant upselling rather than patient care. After clarifying multiple times that I was only there for my Invisalign revision, I was then told it would cost $2,500 to restart the treatment plan. This directly contradicts what I was previously told by the San Bernardino office--that I had until November to complete my plan. Overall, this office demonstrates poor communication, inconsistent information, and a clear focus on upselling rather than patient care. I would not recommend them, especially if you are relying on insurance coverage or expect continuity in your treatment.

The doctors asked if I needed anything, I told him I would like to reschedule hoping they would have more time to explain the procedure before drilling. Brenda the owner took no time to meet with me or speak to me until after I requested she explained the procedure before beginning . The assistant placed the numbing cream in one area and Brenda took the big needle and numbed where she felt necessary. I SCREAMED LOL. It funny now but I was crying and then Brenda is going to say "I am just wonder are you okay"? I literally can't speak and she's asking and asking. I then asked her to give me a minute because wtf. Are you mad at me ? She came back and said she has a lot of work to do and I need a lot of work done and now because the trust is broken she can't continue. AFTER being numbed Good luck, I only came here because my sister wanted to recommend me for some referral credit. Not worth in.

They have a beautiful, welcoming office and, more importantly, you can genuinely feel how much they care about the community and the people they serve. I have been fearful of dental work for many years, like so many people are, and I have finally found a dental office where I feel completely safe, comfortable, and relaxed. The dental hygienists have always been incredibly courteous, but what stands out most is how gentle, caring, and attentive they are. They take the time to understand my anxiety and are especially mindful of my gum sensitivity, which has made such a difference in my experience. I used to avoid going to the dentist, and unfortunately, that eventually led to more dental problems. Since finding State Street Dental, I no longer have that fear. My teeth are doing great, and I no longer dread going to the dentist or putting off what is an important part of maintaining our health. I am so grateful to have found a dental office where I feel genuinely cared for and respected. If you are someone who is nervous or fearful about going to the dentist, I highly recommend giving State Street Dental a try. They have completely changed my experience with dental care!

If I could give Spring Hills more than 5 stars, I would…read more I came to Spring Hills after my tooth broke, scared, embarrassed and extremely anxious. Because of past dental trauma, I hadn't been to a dentist since 2020. I called several offices that morning, but Nora was the first person to answer. Her kindness immediately put me at ease, and she got me scheduled quickly. That same warmth greeted me when I walked through the door. Then I met Kayla, who was an absolute Godsend. I came in already struggling with a cane and boot from an ankle injury, and we connected over her own experience with an injury. She explained everything before doing it and was incredibly gentle with my photos and X-rays. But what meant the most was her compassion. When I became emotional about the years of damage to my teeth, she handed me tissues, reminded me to breathe and told me, "one step at a time." I never once felt judged. I felt safe. Vanessa, my hygienist, was incredibly kind, informative and compassionate. Dr. Kim took his time explaining what was happening, what could be fixed and all of my options. When I asked for his personal advice, he explained how each option could affect me long-term, which helped calm so much of my anxiety. Finally, Letty walked me through my treatment plan and finances. Instead of just handing me a huge number, she broke everything down, helped me prioritize what was most urgent and discussed ways to make treatment manageable. When I wasn't approved for enough financing and felt defeated, she suggested looking into individual dental insurance--giving me another option and hope instead of making me feel like the conversation was over. I didn't even have dental work done that day--this 5-star review is based entirely on the exceptional care I received during my exam. From Nora answering my frightened phone call, to Kayla helping me through my anxiety, Vanessa educating me, Dr. Kim explaining my options and Letty helping me find a path forward, I felt cared for at every single step. I walked in fearful, stressed and overwhelmed. I walked out feeling relaxed, understood, seen and heard. Most importantly, I walked in because my tooth broke, but walked out feeling like something much bigger had been repaired--my trust in dental care. I truly believe God led me to this office when I needed it. I'm now looking forward to getting my dental health back on track and becoming a regular patient at Spring Hills. Nora, Kayla, Vanessa, Dr. Kim and Letty--thank you. Your kindness and compassion made an impact far beyond a dental exam. The gifts were sweet, but my experience with the Spring Hills team was even sweeter. You didn't just gain a patient. You helped someone who was afraid of the dentist finally feel safe enough to come back. I can't wait to return!

If you have a child with you and you need to get dental work...don't bring them here you'll waste…read moreyour time. I've been to 3 dentist office in 4 years and I'm always asked if my son will be with me. I understand there's sometimes kids who don't behave but don't assume my child is one of them. And when I tell you my kid is a calm kid then you need trust and see how it goes afterwards. I get to the front desk and First Lady asks if I have someone to watch him. Which is a common question and I assure her that he's a calm kid and he'll be fine and she says okay. My son wasn't making any noise, wasn't running around. And no, I don't have someone to watch him because mother works and I work in the afternoon. It's the only time I can take care of my needs. Then I have nurse come by to tell me we need to do X-rays and if I have someone to watch him. Again I say no I don't but he can stay off to the side while I'm doing the X-rays. I get it, it's radiation. Me and him have done this before he knows what to do. She tells me to hold on while she asks and proceeds to take 10 minutes doing whatever it was she was doing (does it take that long to ask a question?) and approaches me and just says okay I'm ready for you. Well I assumed we were good and I tell my son who is calmly sitting down watching a movie on my phone to walk with me. As we're walking some other lady receptionist gets up (mind you she's in the back and not sure what her Tuesday was like but girl sit down) and tells me oh he can't go back there... I'm taken a back trying to figure out what the hell is going on and what's the big issues I thought this was sorted out. I start arguing with them we already went over this and she says because we don't want him running around and I'm telling you're assuming he's like that, look at him..he's doing nothing but standing next to me. So I have him, a 3 YEAR OLD... sit down by himself in the waiting area meanwhile I thought I was just gonna do the X-rays and then I could bring him back there. Nope. We go to a room where they have two chairs and I said oh are we doing the x rays here and the mute nurse says yes and then cleaning and I said okay well can I bring him after the X-rays and she says no we can't. So basically I was gonna leave him out there by himself the whole time. I asked what's the big deal, why can't I just have him sit there...of course another nurse intercedes and starts telling me AGAIN..well we don't want him running around... Guys! Communicate...hell man...I've been through this at other offices. They accommodate. Okay. Not every kid is the same. Don't assume. Me and him have done this before. He knows to just sit and chill. And "Business owner" don't tell me to call relations just so you guys don't get real feedback here for everyone else to see knowing relations isn't gonna do crap about these ladies attitudes. My wife is an employee at Loma Linda University and I did not choose to go here. Business owner, the front office has my number if you'd like to contact me. They know who I am.
