When you need custom framing please consider Gregory Frame Shop in downtown Pleasanton on Main Street. I took in some treasures and the attention and pride they take in their work is exceptional. Custom framing. Hand made. Designed and modified for my pieces. Exceptional quality. The painted Joshua Tree desert scene: The shop was so amazed by the color combinations that they offered the most beautiful options for framing. The wood is hand carved with several color reflections and a desert weathered look with gold inlay to reflect the accents of the piece. Unbelievable. The Geisha and Skull: this piece is over a 100 years old with some damage. The shop suggested the rice paper borders and this frame was custom built, the gold accents modified to match the piece. Unbelievable. My pictures do not do the beauty of these frames justice. Gregory Frame Shop has no website, they are appointment only, and months of time are spent on custom pieces. As it was in the days we all long for, and worth every penny in today's world.

We had a vision of what we wanted for a frame for our vintage poster. John and Gina created a masterpiece and completely surpassed our expectations. Their attention to detail was exceptional. We love it! They are true artists!

Gregory Frame Shoppe is THE place to go to get any of your special photos or paintings framed. John and Jeanna are fantastic to work with and know the craft like the back of their hand - I completely trusted them throughout the whole process. They were extremely communicative and have the expert advice of what type of frame will be best for your piece of art. My artwork is from the 1980s and very sentimental to me, which John and Jeanna treated with great care. I had gotten the artwork reframed about 10 years ago and it was not done well, so they showed me the process of how they were going to re-frame it to ensure the artwork was kept and treated with care. I couldn't have imagined how good the framing turned out and I absolutely love it! I appreciate everything that John and Jeanna did - I will definitely be returning and highly recommend to anyone!

Consultation at the shop is always a fun time!

John and Jeanna do it again! Came back to Gregory Frame Shoppe after an awesome experience last year to frame a series of KAWS prints in my collection. As always, John & Jeanna are great artists and educators and were able to help me make the best decisions to optimize the colors of my artwork. The enjoyable part is not only the design process, but chatting with them both to learn about new materials and their process for constructing the frames. Needless to say, their craftsmanship is second to none. I get compliments not only on the artwork in my home, but the execution of the frames themselves. No edge is out of place & they get their dimensions down to a tee. John & Jeanna build truly MUSEUM Quality stuff. The time & investment are absolutely WORTH IT. Thank you again John & Jeanna for bringing joy into my home with your amazing work!! You have made us happy for years to come.

What can I say about John and Gina? They are absolute professionals. My sister and I had the best time working with the dynamic duo. Their passion comes through immediately. I highly recommend this small business! Experience and process: My sister had an initial appointment w John to talk about framing a puzzle that had been in the family. He walked through the timeline, process, estimated costs and answered any questions she had. We came into the shop to select the frame wood/style, matte, trim, glass and everything in between. Wow- they are thorough! I didn't realize how long we could talk about frame options! As we talked through options, they gladly pulled estimates, provided time for us to review and kindly gave suggestions. We never felt rushed or pushed one way or the other. Instead, they gave us space to process. We felt really valued as customers and felt really confident to make an informed decision after! Execution and product result: They called us up to review the final product and we couldn't be happier w the result. The frame was absolutely stunning. They gave us plenty of time to admire it before they wrapped it up so we could give it as a gift. The craftsmanship was so detailed and done w precision and care. My family was so happy with the product- it is now hanging prominently in our living room! The Gregory Frame Shoppe does not disappoint. You can tell John and Gina really care about their work and really go above and beyond for their clients. They treat each person and project w respect and care. If I could give more stars to this review, I would!

What can be said that hasn't already been said by other reviewers? Commensurate professionals. Kind. Patient. And master craftsmen. I will be bringing all my framing needs back to Gregory Frame Shoppe for years to come.

Wonderful experience working with Gregory Frame Shop. Our project came out great using Portuguese Azulejo's. His attention to detail amazing and he was transparent during the entire process.

My son loves his prints that were stretched and mounted at Gregory Frame Shoppe.

Walked in on a lark to see about framing something for my son's room. I was blown away. John explained what needed to be done, broke down why prices are what they are and even pointed me to other options if he was out of my price point. The straight forward approach made me feel like this is the place to come to in the future. They also have a bunch of really cool art in the store. They earned future fussiness with my family.

Celtics, Patriots, Bruins and Red Sox tickets framed by Gregory Frame Shop in Pleasanton for our son's Christmas present.

I didn't have time to wait for the cleaning so I left that aisle. Variety of items. I would come browse when I am in the area.

I love Homegoods/TJ…read moreMaxx/Marshalls and even have a TJX credit card, but my experience at this HomeGoods has been consistently negative and has made me not want to shop anywhere related to this company. The main issue with this HomeGoods is its horrendous lack of customer service. I myself work in retail, so I understand it can get overwhelming and customers can be frustrating at times. Even in my worst moments, however, I have not treated anyone as rudely as the staff (especially management) here treated me (and other customers, based on other reviews). I purchased a Staub baking pan here recently. When I put it in the oven for the first time to cook dinner the other night, I heard a bang after about 20 minutes and found that the baking pan had broken completely in half inside the oven! It caused a mess in my oven and the jagged edges of the baking pan were difficult to avoid as I attempted to remove it. I double-checked the packaging, and it claimed that it can handle up to 572 degrees F (I was baking at 350). So, I considered the product must have been defective or damaged at the time of purchase. Clearly it was not worth the money I paid for it. I put it in a bag and brought it to the store to show them what had happened to get a refund or exchange or something. The manager (Christine or something that started with a C) came over and immediately addressed me with disgust at having to see the pan. Obviously it isn't ideal to see a dirty pan, but I hadn't cleaned it due to the jagged edges that were exposed by its total fracture in my oven, and mostly I just wanted to show them that it had indeed broken. I don't know what they require for a refund so I figured I'd just bring it. Having the pan in that state wasn't ideal or appealing to me either but unfortunately the product they sold had not worked as advertised. She began saying she can't return it because it is a health code violation and it isn't in "sellable condition." Girl...no one is asking you to eat off of it or resell it. It split in half. As a defective item, it wasn't even in sellable condition when I bought it - I just didn't know it yet! Then she told us that they are not responsible for what happens to an item after it leaves the store. However, nothing happened TO it; something happened BECAUSE of it not being a good product! Additionally, the fact you have a return policy at all indicates you are, indeed, somewhat responsible for your products after they leave the store. If a customer bought a sweater and later found it had a hole in it, they'd accept it as a return even though it isn't in sellable condition; how is this different? She was looking at us with disgust and suspicion as if we're somehow scamming them by returning a defective product purchased genuinely less than a week ago. We literally had to ask her if she wanted us to clean it then bring it back (still broken?) in order to process the return, at which point she said they'd make an exception and give store credit. Fabulous, thank you! I don't expect anyone to drop to their knees or beg forgiveness, and I get that I'm just one customer out of many, but I was pretty shocked at the attitude and lack of humanity provided by this manager. Not for a moment did she seem curious about what happened, apologetic for her store selling a defective product that could have injured someone by cracking in a hot oven, or at all capable of reasonable human interaction. I know Staub is just a brand they sell, and they didn't make the pan, but they still sold it. Maybe it got damaged in transport or cracked somewhere along the line, or maybe it was sent to them defective, but she only seemed to think that we were disgusting for even bringing it in and asking for a refund of a $30 product. As a customer I have never felt so judged and almost detested! I cannot emphasize enough the nasty attitude with which she addressed us and her total resistance to anything constructive or polite in the most basic way. Again, in my darkest hours as a retail worker (and I have had plenty ) I have never looked at or spoken to a customer (even the most ridiculous ones, which I didn't believe I was being) in that way. I'm grateful we got the refund but the process was so absurdly dehumanizing considering the fact I was majorly inconvenienced by this defective pan and the fact that it seems totally reasonable to return a product that did not function as advertised. This has made me reconsider having a TJX card and shopping at these stores; and I will definitely never return to this HomeGoods. If you made it this far and get anything out of this review it is that you should save yourself by never crossing the threshold of this Dublin HomeGoods unless you enjoy horrible experiences. If you do, I wish you luck!

There is a big difference between a good and an outstanding interior design firm. Working with…read moreDekorati Interiors for the past few years has given me an experience of the latter. I had a whole house to design: remodeling and furnishing over 2100 square feet from floor to ceiling, this was a daunting assignment. Fortunately, I found Dekorati Interiors through my realtor friend. Rati and her team went far beyond my expectations, not only in designing every inch of my home, but in managing the entire project. With her expertise, we remodeled my entire home. I wanted my space to have a feel of our heritage along with my love for traditional pieces. She was able to create a very classic design with exquisite sourced furnishing pieces and custom details. She has an amazing eye for design, color, composition, placement and how to engage you in her thorough process. Her Design meetings were very descriptive & detailed. One of my favorite parts is the staircase wallpaper depicting our rich Indian cultural element. In short she was able to capture and manifest everything I could've possibly desired in my renovated home. Each room feels comfortable and organic but is also perfectly in sync with an elegant aesthetic . She has a very detailed document for the Contractors to follow for the Remodel and renovation that makes all custom details very easy for them to follow and implement. But whenever there is a confusion or question she herself or someone from her team will be there to address it. However, what sets them apart is the customer experience you get. Everyone on her team is extremely professional, while being friendly and warm. They hold themselves to the highest standard and it is a joy to work with them. She has a design aesthetic which is very custom to the clients and helps make their dream home a reality.

From the very beginning, Rati was able to understand our taste and requirements and started proposing the changes. The scope was big, as we decided to do entryway, kitchen, dining, powder room, living, loft and master bedroom. During our design review meetings (which ran 3 hours), she was well prepared with her design boards and presented us all the options, her preferences and cost details. Coming out of each meeting, we knew significant progress was made. She presented new ideas and designs that we would not have chosen or thought of ourselves. Rati was very responsive during the entire process - either through emails, texts, phone calls.  She has completely transformed our place. We needed more seating in our living area, and she was able to create that without making the area overly crowded. Our loft got transformed into a fully functional area for informal family seating. All you need is getting your contractors and have them implement the design/decor that Rati suggests.  As the project progressed, I wish she had brought up budget constraints in consideration. Final installation was hard to do on video calls, and we wished she was present. Given how she has transformed our place, we would still recommend Rati. She has impeccable taste and aesthetic sense. Anyone who comes to our abode cannot stop appreciating it.

I can confidently say her services are worth every penny. Miranda has an incredible eye for design and an innate ability to see the full potential of a space. The way she and her team decorated and arranged each element blew us away--we kept asking ourselves, "Why didn't we think of that?" She didn't just stage our home; she completely transformed its aesthetic. Every room felt elevated, cohesive, and intentional, yet still warm and inviting. She knew exactly how to highlight the home's best features, improve flow, and make each space feel both stylish and livable. Our listing stood out from comparable properties and made a strong emotional impression on everyone who walked through the door. Thanks in large part to Miranda's work, we received multiple offers and ultimately sold our home for top dollar.
