I went in looking for a specific oil painting by J.Huber, another bird to add to and compliment my other two paintings. I was directed to where Huber's works were on display. I was immediately drawn to this painting, a California Scrub Jay I believe, and put it aside to purchase. I can't wait to see this piece e with my other two, a hummingbird and crow, gifts I received from my mother who purchased them from Sawsan's shop. Great experience, fun to see the owner's personal collections, favorites, framed art and her personal works she has painted or drawn. So many paintings displayed but also in art drawers ready to be framed. My heart is full from this visit. Thank you Sawsan. There are so many artists works on display throughout the shop. Prices are super reasonable for unique one of a kind pieces.

There is difference between art gallery and arts and crafts shows for me. You can see wonderful…read morecreative work at both. What is the difference, you might ask. I love wandering into art galleries where the work is well lighted and well displayed. This gallery certainly fulfilled that difference. There was a nice diversity of work, it was well displayed and the people working here were charming. Although I like to look, I seldom want to buy anything. I was really temped by two pieces in this gallery. A pretty watercolor and a wonderful piece of potter for an Ikebana arrangement really appealed to me. They were really not too expensive for one of a kind pieces of art. Common sense prevailed, I have no room for anything new, and I left. I do have about 5 weeks before they put of the next show in case I change my mind. The other difference, at art or craft show you can talk to the artist. I like to support artist so I go to both galleries and shows and every now and then I see something I just have to bring home.

I honestly don't understand why people complain about the pricethis is an investment in something you'll have forever, and the quality absolutely reflects that. The attention to detail they put into framing each item is beautiful in itself. You can tell real craftsmanship and pride go into their work. I couldn't be happier with the final result and will definitely be back with future art pieces.

Way Up Art and Frame has great service and attention to detail…read more We had wanted an international threading artwork to be framed with a single mat and outlined frame to put on top of the fireplace, but didn't know where to start. Way Up had pre-selected and well-priced deluxe packages (for labor, framing, mats, and glass casing) to choose from which made the process much easier. You can also go outside of the pricing packages for more customization but we had no need to go to that extent. The framing was done in a timely manner and I received good notification when it was done! To add to the level of service, a week after hanging my painting on the wall, it seemed to have slipped the nail one night and fell, severely chipping the based of the frame. The nail positioning was my own mistake; I was shocked and worried about having to pay again for the full frame. I took it back in to Way Up, explained the situation, and Sierra and the team did an amazing job re-framing it in less than a week and at a small fraction of the original cost. I will definitely be thinking of Way Up Art and Frame for my future artwork and framing needs!

His shop has hundreds of frames that you can choose from and can work with various sizes of artwork. We first started with a consultation which included design suggestions from his team, and where we got to mix and match different frames with our paintings. He also gave us a follow-up call to make sure we were able to put it up. You won't find anyone else who's as passionate and knowledgable in the area and we'll be happy to come back again next time!

John guided me towards unique frames and backing that complemented the artwork while not detracting from the beauty of the pieces. I was amazed at the diversity of offerings and really appreciated having a one on one meeting dedicated to discussing the various choices, which had been thoughtfully reviewed by J & J ahead of time. At no time was I pressured into selecting any particular option, but was shown several ideas of varying cost. Once a decision was made an approximate pick up date was provided. While a little longer than other places I have used the quality of the work is definitely worth the wait. J & J are perfectionists from start to finish, even to the wrapping of the end product to ensure safe passage home. My artwork was handled with careful respect at each stage. Their 3 step process : initial consult; review of suggested materials; and final pick up meeting was as unique as their offerings.
