If I could give 100 stars I would. Since the moment I entered the shop after a colission with an object on 35E which wrecked a list of 6 parts in my car, Allan Hale has been the most informative, understanding, listening and attentive service person I've ever encountered. At first, he made a quick fix so I could keep going on my journey without charging and mentioned that I could get the car serviced in a location closer to where I was traveling too and more convenient for me. Then when I decided to fix the car there, he walked me to the car and explained what he has found that needs to be replaced. He stayed with me until I asked all my questions, even though there were other people around asking questions. The car was serviced in an outstanding way, down to the smallest detail. I feel there was sensitivity to the specific person that I am - control freak, detail oriented who is hard to satisfy. I completely recommend coming here and trusting that Allan or his team will help you out in an affordable way. read more

The worst repair service/dealership experience I've ever had, by far. My service repair technician (Allan Hale) and the others in the service department lacked integrity and transparency in their dealings with me, regarding extra charges and their handling of the repair. They attempted to charge my insurance for a rental car for a loaner vehicle that they told me was a dealership "courtesy" (Someone called this an attempt to make a fraudulent charge although I won't). Despite state and local city mandates to wear masks in Waco, Texas due to the rising number of COVID cases (and deaths) in Texas when my service was done, the dealership employees were not wearing masks inside and there a sign explaining why they didn't need to ("no one knows if masks help protect regarding COVID" and if you have mental or physical health issues you don't have to wear a mask). I directly told the repair tech (Allan) that I needed things to be handled with special care and my vehicle sanitized due to helping my elderly grandmother - he did not do any of what he said he would nor did he take care of the simple things I requested in this regard. He did, however, charge me for a special COVID sanitizing despite not cleaning the vehicle. This experience was beyond frustrating in an unusually and very stressful time for so many. I attempted to speak with both the general manager (Kyle Binner) three times and the owner (Greg May) regarding my terrible experience (that cost me over $2900 with $2400 of that being in labor on a new car I bought two months prior with only 1500 miles on it) Neither the GM nor the owner had the time nor care to call me back. If you are able to go elsewhere please do - do not go to this dealership for service or to buy a car (I looked into that at Greg May as well) - my takeaway is that $$$$ is their highest priority and the customer's needs or concerns simply are not that important. read more

Took my dad there to look at a few pre owned cars. Our salesman was Brian Mehta. All I can say is he was outstanding. He listened to what my dad's needs were. Also he wasn't pushy, a big plus. Truly poor customer service, and likely crooks. I have taken my car there twice and neither time was I pleased. The last time I went in for an oil change and simple Headlight repair. I asked that they look at the passenger seat foot bumper as well. This has come loose and I could Not snap back into place. When I got My car back, they only fixed one of The two headlights. And didn't even offer to fix their mistake. They didn't even look at (apparently) the broken seat bumper. He didn't offer that either. But WORST yet, they removed my cabin air filter....the whole thing! And now I have outside air blowing directly on the legs of the front passenger. There is basically a big hole just under the glove box. Seriously! It was just fine when I took it to them. Of course, I didn't notice this until a few days later when the weather turned cold. Of course, the repair manager says it was like that when I brought it in. Bologna! I have a passenger almost every morning. We would have noticed cold air blowing on us. I will never return there. I will drive to another dealership in another city if I must, but I strongly urge you NEVER to use Greg May Honda. read more

I worked with Zaira Vasquez and she was not helpful. She just shrugged her shoulders and said they couldn't find a problem. The only advice she offered was to video the problem. I then pointed out I could not do that safely while driving. I would not recommend this service department. read more

This is our opinion....Greg May Honda's technicians are incompetent. Just as incompetent and unprofessional as their service manager, Jim Little. Most of our repairs were not done right the first time or they damaged something in the process of trying to fix the problem. Many of our repairs by them has taken us 3 - 4 replacement parts and repair trips each time. We have had our van in their service shop at least 24 times in 10 months! It is our opinion that at least half of the repairs were due to their incompetence. NEVER DO THEY APOLOGIZE for the inconvenience they caused us. New parts don't consistently break down unless they were installed incorrectly. When our van needed a new rack and pinion they put in a NON-OEM part that made a knocking sound when you made a slow turn to the right. We were never asked if we were okay with them putting in a non-oem rack!!! It took them replacing the rack 4 times from leaks in a 10 month period before they eventually put in an OEM rack. Finally the knock is gone and the rack isn't leaking!!! We cannot trust their service department and the technicians they hire are inept. WARNING: taking your vehicle there may cause you health problems along with high blood pressure! read more

The financial department outright lied as to what we were purchasing and when we went in to discuss/dispute the charges their staff was unwilling to help & rude and the general manager was nothing short of a joke. We're excited for our new Honda and know it's going to be a great vehicle, but we will never be purchasing anything from Grey May again. Worst customer service experience. Sold me car that had been wrecked and had a bent subframe (without disclosing that fact) and without an inspection sticker and with a quarter tank of gas. Told me they had changed the oil when they hadn't. Had to pay $200 to get the system flushed. The Salespeople are independent and unaccountable resulting in an inability for customers to obtain the service they need once they've actually bought the car. Honda makes great vehicles. I would like to start my review by saying my experience with the internet sales department is what brought me to Greg May Honda. Dalton Turner is a professional in the best sense of the word and won my business even though I was bound and determined NOT to ever step foot in a Greg May dealership again (based on VERY poor service over the years). My wife and I purchased our new 2016 Pilot from Greg May and were excited to learn that the additional warranty we purchased from them provided FREE (remember that word) oil changed, tire rotation, multi-point inspections, etc., for 24 months or 24,000 miles. We have a regular place we usually use for oil changes, but since it was FREE (that word again), we decided to use Greg May. After making an appointment to get the work done, I was told that the work would NOT be FREE, but they would give us a discount. I'd like to say that the contract that we signed for our extended warranty says in plain English, "at no cost to the customer." Also in very plain and clear English it lists the above services as part of this FREE service. Let me just say that Greg May's service department can't read or understand simple English. I had to talk to three people over a span of half an hour trying to get them to read and see those words, "at no cost to the customer." I finally convinced them that I was not paying the near-$70 price for an oil change and the near-$50 for tire rotation (both so unreasonable). What made it so unprofessional was their unwillingness to acknowledge the document that was produced in their dealership and they way that they wanted to argue about what was plain and clear. On top of that, that oil change and tire rotation took 3 hours--even with an appointment!!! One would think that the next time I went in for a scheduled oil change that I wouldn't have to go through the same problem. WRONG! Same song, second verse. The end result was the same; I eventually got the promised service at the promised price (FREE), but still had to argue with two technicians and one supervisor to get the contracted service. This time at least, though, the comptroller said she would put a note in our file so that we wouldn't have to go through this again. NOT SO...! I went in again this morning (with an appointment) and had to argue with three individuals again. Today, the service rep even made the comment that they have this issue with a lot of customers--hmmm, maybe because it's in the contract???? On top of the very poor and unprofessional service this morning, my simple oil change and tire rotation took 2 1/2 hours, the floormats weren't vacuumed,and the windows weren't cleaned, Other than warranty work, I could not EVER recommend Greg May to ANYONE. read more

I did not buy my car here but have to go here for my services as it is the Only Honda dealership in Waco. The service is ABSOLUTELY SLOW its a normal day to go here and its an hour if not TWO HOURS for an oil change!! I dislike going here and the guys here have crazy attitude. I just do not understand why Mr. Greg does not do anything about the long lines and sends his guys home before they actually close. I went there and they sent the guys in the back home to be with their families( which is a nice gesture). But when the business hours that are posted on the door show one time and when a customer comes in 30 min before that time posted and still can not get the service requested we have a serious problem. I went to Greg May Honda with every intent to purchase a vehicle that day. I met with Kim from internet sales and checked out several vehicles. The process took a very long time, and I literally sat and waited several different times while Kim made phone calls to other clients or was simply not in her office when I came back from looking at a car. In all I looked at 5 cars and test drove one that day. Once my husband arrived we settled on a favorite vehicle. Unfortunately the dealership was closing and Kim did not offer to to stay open to allow us to test drive the car or see the sale through. However we decided to come back the next day. I asked Kim to see if the vehicle we preferred was certified and to contact me via text in the morning. Kim did not contact me and so I looked into it myself. When I viewed Honda's database of certified pre-owned cars I found that the vehicle in question was not only certified but that Greg May Honda had advertised the vehicle sales price at $1,000 less than Kim quoted me. When we arrived the next afternoon I mentioned I had researched the question of certification myself and she told me that because the vehicle was certified it was going to mean an increased in over $800 in price than the one she quoted me the day before. I informed Kim of the price discrepancy that Greg May had posted and she had the audacity to argue with me about it. I suggested she pull up Honda.com herself and see that it clearly states that prices on the certified vehicles are provided by the dealers. She stated it wasn't their listing (their contact information is directly on the listing), that it wasn't the same car (the VIN is listed with), that she didn't know "what kind of site I was getting my information from"- even though I repeatedly told her honda.com. She kept pointing to her price list on her computer and stating that that was all she could look up. I know she was able to access the site as just the day before she pulled up Honda.com to show me the available color choices of the CRV because she stated Honda was no longer producing the informational booklets (which btw is also not true.) I was incredibly irritated at this point but I wanted to at least drive the car to see if its what we wanted. We test drove the vehicle and thoroughly enjoyed it. Unfortunately I was so irritated by her behavior that I insisted my husband go and talk to her. We decided if she would drop the price we would purchase it. She refused to match their ADVERTISED price on Honda.com and argued with my husband too. We left and bought a Honda the next day at the dealership in Killeen- the staff there is amazing. Later she texted me and told me after speaking with her manager she was willing to drop the price to match their advertised price. Even so I would NEVER recommend doing business here as it was a time consuming, insulting, belittling, and down right offensive experience. read more

I brought my Accord to GMH 3 times for services. They were decent experiences. GMH did not try to sell me unnecessary services like some of my previous dealers(other brands) which was good. Price was fair as a dealership but still expensive compared to market. They do have inspection reports and nothing to complain about the quality. Nothing to complain about but no bonus either. read more

This lady representative from the service department (initials H. F.) was so rude when I went in for some service. I was there twice and she was incredibly rude and unprofessional both times. Took new 2015 Honda Odyssey in for warranty adj. to the rear hatch. Been back 3 times to repair the $ 5000. damage they did. Dealership is 60 plus miles one way. They spot repaired the damages, hoods been painted twice, bumpers wrong color, damaged inside of hatch and interior. painted bumper while on the car...damaged drivers door handle, seat side and dash., rock chips and overspray all over the grill and chrome, damaged rear bumper cover...Damaged R. front rim.Going to have to go to small claims court. I Didnt trust them, so I took before and after pics. The damage was noted on my receipt. They had van for 6 weeks. Told to wait a week to hear back from them. They wont return emails or calls to the dealership manager, service manager or owner. Called their Branch manager, he had a salesperson contact me ? Honda says its between them and me. warranty is possibly voided if not properly repaired. Honda pro shop estimate is for $ 4600 not inc rental car for a week, Thats for a recut -not new rim.....On top of all this , Vin search discovered car shows as USED not new as represented.. read more

On Monday May 9th, I decided to visit the Greg May Honda in Waco to test drive the new 2016 Honda Civic Touring because a coworker who had recently purchased one told me I just had to check it out. I was slightly leaning more towards buying the new 2016 Mazda3 SGT but thought I'd give them a chance just to help me finalize my choice to go with the Mazda. So we(my father and I) walk into Greg May and we are immediately greeted by two gentlemen at the desk who introduced us to their senior salesman Mr. Lawrence. Lawrence is the definition of an honest salesman. I know you rarely hear the two words used together in a sentence but its true. He went over every little detail, was very knowledgeable about the 2016 Honda Civic and emulated a great deal of enthusiasm about the car which spiked our interest in the car even more so. I really really appreciate the fact that he didn't try to use any aggressive sale tactics on us to pressure us into buying the car. I highly recommend visiting Lawrence at Greg-May Honda if you are in the market for a new car. I love my Honda Civic Touring and I couldn't have asked for a better car buying experience then what I received from Greg-May Honda. read more

I went in to get a headlight bulb replaced. I was told it would take 30 minutes to replace the bulb. Ended up taking over 2 hours. Also said I was having a problem with my windshield wipers & I was told they would take a look. An hour into the 30 minute appointment they came out & said that they could not tell me the cause of my windshield wiper issue without a diagnostic of my car, which would cost another $60.00. I told them I was not interested in that & asked what the cost to replace the wiper blades would be. I was told he would have to talk to the parts department & would get right back to me. That NEVER happened. At that time I was told they just had to put in the lightbulb & the car would be done. 40 minutes later I went & asked how much longer since a 30 minute appointment was now nearing the 2 hour mark. He said he would have to go check. Came back & said it was much more difficult than they anticipated but that he was finishing up & to give them a few more minutes. About 25 minutes later they finally said the car was done. Still no mention of the windshield wiper cost. When I went out to the car & went to turn on the radio I found it wouldn't come on. I went back in & told them that it wasn't working & was told, oh we had to remove your battery & it now requires a code to be entered in order for my radio to work again. Then I was asked, would you like me to do that for you? Uh, yes. So with that done I thought I was good to go but NO, My windows, that have an automatic up feature when you push on the button, was no longer working. It worked just fine when I pulled into the dealer. So I went back in & asked to speak to a manager. After standing there for several minutes while they try & find the manager he calls someone on the phone. At which point I am told that the manager as well as the general manager had to leave & are not available to speak with. Why am I not shocked by that answer. This was my first, and definitely, last time to Greg May Honda. I will drive the very long extra miles to Burleson to get my car serviced from now on. read more

After searching online, I found a great used Honda Odyssey for sale at this dealership. Unfortunately, my husband and I are stationed at Sheppard AFB in Wichita Falls, TX which is 3.5hrs away (7hr round trip). I called the dealership to make sure the vehicle advertised was still available before making the trek down there with a 4 month old. The car was still available and I told the salesman my situation and that I would be there as soon as possible. The salesman assured me that they could hold the vehicle for me. He even went as far as to clear it with the manager and call me back saying it was mine and to take my time. When I got there after almost 4 hrs in a car with my infant, I was told that the car had been sold. To make matters worse they had nothing else to offer me. They're only "deal" they could give me was on a brand new Honda Odyssey which was $12,000 more than the price on the used Odyssey I had been promised. I left empty handed. They offered no compensation for the trouble they caused me. read more
