As the front line call center they should have some 'basic knowledge ' of the systems and at least forward any technical questions to a tech ! The scheduling department failed me. I wasted Matt's time and my money on an unnecessary service visit. We will be building a new house and Matt gave me fantastic advice so we will consider Carroll Water based on his ability to service the system. I called the company that installed some well equipment when we bought the house on their "24 hour emergency line," which was not answered. They called me back two hours later and told me they could come in a few days and offered no guidance over the phone even though I told them my basement was actively flooding and asked what to do. Meanwhile I'm triaging with buckets and a de-humidifier to keep up with the flow. I called the first place that popped up on Google, which happened to be HydroWells. I explained the situation, and Elba, one of the owners, told me not to worry and they'd have someone out there at 7PM. She and her husband, Javier, the other owner, came actually at 6:45PM, were so kind and lovely and had the issue fixed within a half hour. They also showed me the issue and gave me a bit of an education, which I appreciated. And they didn't gouge me on the price even with the emergency. I won't ever go back to my previous well company. If you're looking for someone to do maintenance or install any equipment, please choose HydroWells. No help from them..."We no longer service wells." Huh?? Some research lead me to Able Pump and Well Services. Tom responded to my inquiry immediately and got to diagnosing the issue the next day - a Saturday no less. Fortunately, the problem was not the well but the pressure tank. Every procedure they did was explained thoroughly. Tom and assistant Mike worked for quite some time and were able to clear up the problem at the source. What a relief! The cost?
