    Lovely Lounge in Terminal 8!

Relaxing and Expansive Lounge at JFK. Comfortable seating areas. Great service. Good selections of food and beverages at their buffet. Do allow plenty of time to walk to your departure gate, long distance between each gate! CHEERS!

Greenwich Lounge. What a nice perk for flying Hawaiian Airlines! When we checked in for our flight from New York to Honolulu, we had elected to pay the price for a first class ticket for the long flight home. Having done so, we were delighted to find out that we could enter the airline lounge while we waited for our flight. This lounge also includes American Airlines and British Airways members. Finding the entrance to the lounge was easy as the signage and instructions provided were clear and signs visible. You take an elevator up to the lounge and there is a front area where your tickets are checked along with your identification. Then the fun and relaxation begins. The lounge is expansive. Tables, nooks, couches, and more are available for you to hang out, work, socialize and so much more. There is a variety of alcoholic beverages and non alcoholic beverages available here for your consumption. Hot and cold foods are also offered here. Want a shower? They have it here as well! Service here is great and efficient. Clearing off your dishes, replenishing the hot and cold foods for your continued consumption. We could get used to this! An enjoyable experience.

This lounge is located at JFK Terminal 8. You have to take the elevator up to access it. The lounge receptionists' hospitality vary. One guy was snobbish and seemed to not want to assist us when we arrived so I went to the next receptionist. We went out of the lounge and came back in again and another female receptionist was more accommodating and had a more positive vibe. I guess the staffs' mood and personality depends on the time of the day. The lounge was huge. There were different portions for your different needs. The food selection was decent (we were there for breakfast) and there's different areas you can stay at. We stayed at the Tasting room (because it has a booth and it's where you can order food from their menu. Although the food selection came in small portions and the selection varies daily), by the window seated on a lounge chair with foot stool where you're in front of a ceiling high window with the view of the tarmac and the Bridge Bar because it's more private since not much people stay there. They also have other nice areas to stay at like the quiet room (but we have a baby so we can't really stay there), play area for kids, computer section if you need to use one and they also have a printer, different bars where you can get a drink (or more) among others. The place was nice and clean and I would definitely recommend it if you can access it. It's easy to pass the time in this place.

Overall: A+ // 6 stars The Greenwich Lounge is a joint venture by American Airlines and British Airways and is the easiest of three lounges to access in JFK's Terminal 8, featuring primarily Oneworld Alliance member airlines, who all have access to this lounge when flying on an eligible route in business class (International Business plus select US Transcon) or with sufficient Oneworld status. Given that most people JFK terminals are not connected after security, and a lot of the NYC travelers are more interested in United and Delta, this lounge ends up being very pleasant during every visit I've been, where the immense square footage greatly outnumbers the number of guests using the lounge. In the mornings, this lounge is just your standard lounge, with breakfast buffet options, drink machines, and a self-serve bar. What shines here is that AA offers lounge access on arrival for domestic flights that don't require security clearance, which is particularly great for their transcon redeyes, as this is a great refuel point to grab a quick bite, some caffeine, and perhaps even a shower before proceeding into the city. When the morning has passed is when this lounge gets truly exciting though, with two new rooms to explore for the curious traveler. The first is a tasting room, which features four local beers on tap where you can try a beer flight. They also offer several wine options as well. In addition, this room has a made-to-order menu featuring upscale bar bites from housemade chips with hot sauce and blue cheese dip to pulled pork sliders that were all so tasty. The second room -- "At The Bridge" -- gives interior garden vibes with a cozy bar overlooking the terminal featuring quirky fruit-forward cocktails and a different set of equally intriguing finger foods such as a smoked salmon tartine and caramel chocolate dipped strawberries, also made to order and quite tasty. Overall, I found this lounge to be practical, yet elegant; spacious yet comforting -- one that truly impresses as a Business Class lounge. If we consider that both BA and AA do not have hubs in NYC, its even more impressive as this lounge is truly better quality than most business class lounges in other airline's primary hub. First time at this lounge and was pretty impressed with its space, food, and drink options! Love that they open late until like 1am and have a wide range of food types, ranging from salad, dips, mains, and proteins. Allergens are written out and utensils are clean. Seems like wine was self serve. Only wish they had more tea options. Lots of space available, ranging from high tops, tables, and booths. Wifi was pretty strong!

For those traveling business or first on a transcontinental flight, this is the best you can access in JFK Terminal 8. This spacious lounge offers excellent food, plenty of space, and tons of self serve alcohol, liquors, and other drinks. Breakfast is not as interesting as lunch/dinner options. At 10:30am, the Tasting Room opens with more premium foods. Definitely come here if you have the chance!

I went to this airport lounge after checking in at JFK. It was a complimentary admission for flying Japan Airline premium economy. It is located on the second floor after passing thru security. The lounge is a place to eat and relax while waiting for your flight; comfortable seating with a variety of hot food and drinks. They even served beer and alcohol. Food options included soups, various healthy salads, couple of meat dishes, and cookies/ brownies for dessert. The lounge was very well maintained with a large staff to serve and clean. Over all you can't really complain for something that is complimentary but I wish they serve some fruits. It was an enjoyable experience but there was no fruit in sight hence the four stars.

THE BLACK AND WHITE: I was super excited to visit this capital one lounge mainly because the other times I tried to come here, they were either closed (due to a unforeseen fire incident) or my flight was about to leave. The space opens up into the bagel and coffee bar near the front where you can order your bagel fresh to order. Then you can either turn left or right and both have plenty of seating. If you turn right, you eventually get led to the bar and can post up for your flight. There are QR codes at every table where you can order a la carte your meals. THE FINAL BAMBOO: Overall, this is probably my favorite capital one lounge in their network. If this is all you read, all you need to know is to visit the bagel bar.

Like other high-end travel cards, the CSR gives complementary membership to Priority Pass (PP). Unfortunately, there just aren't that many great PP options domestically for the airports that my wife and I travel to (through). The best use of the membership has been getting free snacks/drinks from a Gameway at our home airport (LAX)..and occasionally a free chair massage when traveling through ATL. Well, with this initial visit to this lounge (first one to any Sapphire Lounge), I've now gone to a really good domestic lounge, not affiliated with AMEX or Delta. It was impressive, especially since it didn't cost extra. Chase has partnered with Airport Dimensions (owners of 'The Club' branded set of airport lounges across the U.S.) to open the Chase Sapphire Reserve Lounge Network (only nine lounges so far). Airport Dimensions is owned by the Collinson Group, which also owns Priority Pass (the biggest airport lounge system in the world). This lounge is located in Terminal 4 at JFK, on the upper mezzanine, right next door to the AMEX Centurion Lounge (which my wife and I had visited on our last trip to NYC in 2023). There was one attendant manning the desk, and he let us in after scanning our membership QR code and boarding passes. We were able to find seats, and realized that it wasn't too crowded. We got there just as breakfast was ending (10:45...not too much of a selection yet). There was a breakfast buffet, and the bar was open. Got their specialty cocktail (a Sapphire Spritz made with vodka)....realized later that almost everyone else was ordering their drink through the Sapphire website (accessible by scanning a table specific QR code), getting it hand delivered right to their table. Delivery to table is a great feature of this lounge, differentiating it from competitors like Centurion and Sky Club. Once lunch opened up, more menu items became available, including a Sapphire Burger with Fries, with a decent ability to customize. My wife and I ended up separately ordering a burger and fries, and I got their two local beers on tap: TALEA Beer Co. Watermelon Splash Sour Ale and a Coney Island Brewing Co. Mermaid Pilsner. Everything got delivered per order in decent time, and the waiter was pleasant about it. The beers were great, and the burger was good quality...would have perfectly satisfied with the dish at a burger restaurant. The fries were decent, too. There is a self-service soda machine on the premise. I did try checking out the washrooms, and saw that there just isn't that many stalls for a lounge this size. After finishing our beers, we left the lounge in plenty of time to mosey to our departing gate. By the time we left, there was a line that had formed outside the lounge to get in...so they must use a strict queue to maintain the amount of people at the lounge to be under the maximum seating. That being said, I recognize that much of the experience depended on the lounge not being packed, so we got lucky (coming on a Thursday just before lunch started and leaving a bit after noon). I've read that Chase will be changing admission rules. Today, any PP member can enter the lounge once a year. Starting August 15, only members with an eligible card (like the CSR) will be able to enter. Can't wait when they open the new Sapphire Lounge (scheduled for late this year) at LAX! Might make me reconsider maintaining my Delta Reserve AMEX card.

I had to wait five minutes in line to enter the waitlist which itself took another 45 minutes. people were sitting outside the lounge waiting for their turn which didn't feel very premium. inside the lounge was very crowded and the attendant had difficulty finding me a spot, but I was able to spot an empty seat for myself. the food was really good, but that was about it for the lackluster "premium" experience. dont go to this lounge in the afternoons because it's too crowded and it's a hassle to come all the way to terminal 4 just for this lounge since you have to go through security again. there is no pathway or air train that connects the terminals on the secured side. there was a bar where I've seen great reviews on but I only had 10 minutes because I needed to leave to re clear security at the other terminal my flight departed from. Part of the reason for the lackluster experience is that this is a lounge ran by Ethiad that contracts for chase sapphire reserve. Ethiad customers have no waitlist. And if you are normal priority pass you have no chance making it in on the afternoons. Expect to get turned away aa I saw some people were. The lounge was pretty and aesthetically pleasing though.

The Sky Club allows entry at the point of arrival, whereas most other lounges is only for point of departure and any layovers. Since we had already used the lounge at LAX the previous night, we knew this additional visit wouldn't count against our cap, so decided to stop in for breakfast.
