Loved this spot. The food is good the cocktails are also sweet and will keep you enjoying the vibes all night long. The staff is also amazing and very attentive. There is great music and the spot is beautiful. I went there for a paint and sip and although I had a great time it started an hour late and they don't really explain why. Overall I had a great time and will definitely be back! read more

Had the watermelon infused drink and non infused wings both were 10/10 , my sister had the infused wings and said both were equally good ! The ambience was really pretty and I loved the music , literally such a vibe! The fact you can smoke inside also elevated the experience we had sooo much fun!! The service was also great, we accidentally forgot who our server was and kept calling for a different one. It was a nice lady and she didn't even say anything until the end of our dining experience that she wasn't our actual server, we felt bad for giving her extra work but she literally didn't even make it a big deal! My sister the went again the next day because she enjoyed it that much read more

This place is a genuine scam not entirely sure if they're still in business but they're one of those places that sneak things in your order (like charging $10 for a lighter when you ask to borrow one for the Js), hyping up the food when it's Kraft Mac and cheese, and charging a ridiculous entrance fee. Cool concept but I think it might be a front for something read more

I went for a friend's birthday and we did paint and puff. The host was hilarious and fun, and I enjoyed the DJs music. The service was great too. You can buy infused food or desserts as well as flower, or you can bring your own. The infused food was tasty and I ended up buying a couple of cakes. My friend's painting won her a membership. Great night. read more

If you are into infused food this is the perfect place. It is perfect for all consumers because you can curate the level of experience you would like to have. You can go from micro dosing to smacked. Not all of the food and drinks are infused. When I went we were a very mix group. I had a true stoner who got everything infused and smoked while there. I had a person who had nothing infused and equally loved her chicken sandwich. I had a friend who micro dosed and only had an infused drink. I myself had everything infused. All around the food is good. Infused or not in addition the infused food does not taste dank. There are several food options on the menu. Even the watermelon margarita was to die for. The margarita does not have alcohol but mines was infused. It tasted like fresh watermelon juice. So these are the reasons I personally love this place and have done take out from here as I well. For infused food this spot is top ranking for me. 1. The fact they have a garden with a retractable roof is everything. The air circulation is great. It does not feel stuffy. 2. You can take you uneated food to go. 3. The staff is very down to earth and the manager Nelson is very cool and welcoming. If you go you must take home some cookies. They are ALLLLLLL so damn good I have gone back just for them. read more

Kakes NYC deserves 420 stars! (See what I did there?) From the start they are very professional and have a secure setup with security; which you will need sign the wavier and get padded down. Women will have their purses checked as well. They allow you to bring your own flower so you don't have to buy it there. When you first walk in you get a night room with tables and chairs. It has a chill coffee house vibe with an ordering window and the desserts they offer on display. The back section is more like a "garden room" with chairs, benches, tables, etc. There is even a DJ spinnin' a wide mix of rap and freestyle. No matter where you sit you'll have your very own "weed sommelier". Our server (believe her name was Natasha) was awesome! Very friendly, professional, and knew her stuff. Making suggestions, recommendations, and parings on all of the food and drinks. Now on to the grub! You can get infused and non-infused. No matter what. It is off the hook! Way above par, not what I was expecting! The ginger wings (non-infused) were cooked perfectly! Crispy but still tender and the sauce was so amazingly sticky and delicious. I almost didn't want to share! The pretzels and beer cheese (infused) was a reminder of something you'd get at a pub or brewery only with weed! The pretzels seemed to be fried and were crispy with a soft dough center. The cheese dip was on point. You couldn't taste any of the infusion. I believe it was the Sour Pickle drink (infused) all I can say is get it---just get it. If you're a fan of sour it's perfect. My mouth is watering just thinking about it! The drink itself is light and smooth, rimmed with salt and sour. It is 100% worth the price. Kakes 100% lives up to the hype! I will be back! read more

Amazing service as usual. We were late for our reservation, we traveled 2 hours from CT. They still were super accommodating, service always is A+, food was on point. I am very picky when it comes down to my burgers. I requested medium rare and it was exactly what I ordered and it was delicious. Our infused drinks were beautiful and delicious as well. Ended our reservation with a birthday cake to go, which we took over to Partake and enjoyed . It was a whole vibe. Rico and the staff are always so welcoming, it feels like visiting family. Thank you Kakes for always meeting and exceeding my expectations. Till next time read more

It was my first time going to a place that had infused food. Don't get me wrong, this place is really nice. I came here for my birthday, and when you first arrive someone lets you know about how much THC is in the infused foods, what menu has non THC, and just a good introduction the restauraunt. The food with THC was overly expensive and none of my friends were buzzed from it, even though it tasted good. The only thing that gave us a little buzz were the desserts. It's cool that you're able to smoke freely in this place and also buy THC products in there. However, I just feel like I was expecting more of a high. read more

If you partake and want to have a tasty meal while doing so this is the spot. Me and my crew of 8 had a blast here. We sat in the back lounge area and was very comfortable. The service from the doorman to our waitress was a plus no complaints. So this is not a meal where you are going to feel a strong effect, if any. Some part time puffers or light bodies said they felt something. The rest of us not so much. But everyone slept like new born puppies...lol but that's about it. We also ate very good so that could have also been the I-tis.lol The lobster rolls and shrimp tacos were very good. No one complained all was tasty. The drinks were also very good. Overall the experience was very good. The prices are a little high not to feel anything besides a good night's sleep lol read more

What a cool lounge spot in LIC. Proudly owned by boriquas! Stand up. Hector, the manager is extremely knowledgeable and accommodating. They've set up a space that is ideal for those that want to get buzzed, those that don't and it's a private members only lounge so when you come in you know what to expect. They offer day passes . They have both infused and non infused food. Also have a resident roller who sits center stage and rolls cigars filled with weed. They have an outdoor smoking lounge with a retractable roof. Djs on certain days, karaoke on some and other entertainment events too. Food was well made and flavorful. Tried calamari, short ribs and fries, and tacos. This might be the new spot for entertainment. read more

So am a bit late..... well very late on writing this review.. so am hoping there still a wonder place to visit.. I went to Kakes with another couple. Wanted to try edible CBD don't tell no body . First, they do charge and entrance fee ( does not go towards your meal) $25 per person.. not my favorite thing to do, but I said why not, I'll try this place out. When you get there you have to register and submit your license, a bit annoying but understandable since everyone should be of legal age and for safety reasons. The host that registered us was great. He was super friendly and informative.. I was a little worried because I recall parting back in my day ( don't ask how old I am ) and people were able to smoke in the club... hated coming out smelling like an ashtray. Host told me not to worry they have a great rental system. He was not lying.. He walked us inside and explained the whole place to us. How to air circulation worked and the break down with the food and the CBD content in the dessert. The place was nicely decorated and the dessert were beautifully displayed.. He took us to our sits, which was outside, at the back of the restaurant.. well inside outside, it has a retracting glass roof which was cool.. The space was very cool, gave me grown forks lounge vibes.. they played really good music and there was a roller if you wanted to consume CBD the old fashion way . Waited came to us quickly and took our orders..love when waiters tend to me in an appropriate time of sitting. The food was fabulous.... I was pleasantly surprised, you could not taste the CBD in any of the food.. They did have non-infuse items on the menu for people that chose not to partake in CBD consumption. The menu was so tempting I wanted to order everything, but I settled for trying my others friends picks.. I got a drink called beauty and the beast, which was the cutest set up.. A rose cup infused in a vest covered plate, yes it was like a bong ( you only live once) but once you had enough or was done you just lifted the vest and all the smoke evaporated.. Be aware, they don't serve drinks with alcohol, just mock tails. When we were finishing, the host or maybe owner came out and bought us dessert on the house. They were all infused and delicious.. nothing better than a dessert that will not only hit your sweet teeth but give you a nice biz. Please be aware, when you ingest infuse food, you will not feel the effects for at least an hour. You should definitely go to this place in an Uber so you do not need to drive yourself home. I would definitely go back to this place, the food will have you go to many places with out leaving your sit read more

This is a super late review but a review that must be done better late than never. I joined for a company outing and was impressed by the professionalism, ambience, and food. There is a bouncer in the front to ensure everyone's safety. The hostess greets and seats you. The front portion is more a chill lounge/bar vibe where you can enjoy a conversation. The back portion has a dj in a huge room with couch seatings in the middle for a big group (we were the big group that night). The food had a nice gourmet like presentation and more importantly tasted delicious! The drinks presentation was fun! One of the drinks was like a contained single rose in a beauty and the beast vibe. How creative! Loved this idea. NYC has elevated the industry and I'm glad to be here to experience all of it 10/10 I do recommend! read more

Wow I loved this place ! Came for a birthday dinner and my infused food was 10/10 ! Music was great and ambiance was perfect for taking pictures. Come in expecting to spend $$$ as they are a little pricey but it was worth it. Keep in mind no alcohol is served as drinks are marijuana infused. My server was friendly and helped us pick out our drinks. I left full and laughing uncontrollably read more

Upon arrival, I was greeted warmly at the door. The ambiance is that of an old school, high end speak-easy. Dimly lit with open seating. About once an hour they opened the retractable roof to let the smoke out. Their air filtration system must be on point, because there isn't a heavy lingering cannabis fog. The food was tasty and infused but not over the top, so you can enjoy yourself without over indulging. The DJ kept the music upbeat, and they had a rolling specialist making blunts like a hibachi chef up front. This would be a five star lounge with or without the sacred herb. I had a great time. read more

This is one of my favorite spots I go in New York. Every time I come up and visit. The customer service is amazing. It gets very busy especially on the weekend. I typically do the late dinner slot and stay till they close. The food is amazing! I have been at least 3-4 times and they have not missed a beat yet. My go to is the Mac and cheese. My friends had the burger and vegan tacos and I even tried the guacamole which was amazing! While the drinks don't have alcohol in them, they are delicious! I typically sit in the back near the dj booth because I love h to e energy of the back. There's a front area as well for a more chill vibe. The pace is very clean and they price Ty themselves in customer service. read more

The staff was extremely professional from the security at entry, to the hostess/manager who gave us a tour and our server was stupendous. You can tell that every detail of the decor was well thought out and executed. Now the food, amazing! Seasoned to perfection. They offer infused and non infused options. Now the food, we had party cake, quesadillas, Mac and cheese and chopped cheese. Everything was delicious and worth the price. You may not feel it right away but when you stand up?!! Yeah! We sat outside which was open space with patio furniture, a roller that will roll your weed, the dj was doing his thing last night. The vibe was a real chill one and I would definitely return and bring more friends. Y'all ladies go check Nelson' fine ass out!! read more

You walk into this place and it is heavily regulated to make sure you are over 21 and signed the waivers. Go past it and you have plenty of seating and tables available to eat. Walk some more and there is a beautiful oasis that reminds you of a backyard (but indoors-- the roof is open in the summer). There is a pre made roller. I had an amazing time at this cannabis infused restaurant/ chill spot. The staff was veryyyy attentive and walked you through all the steps and literally gave me a tour of the area. My waitress was super nice, pretty and helpful (this is not one of those places that had pretty girls that are bad waiters). I came for a birthday and stayed for a while because I was just vibing and having a good time. Drinks 10/10 I highly recommend the Pineapple Express drink. I am definitely coming back. read more

I came here for a friends 23rd birthday, and it was good, the music was good and so were the people. But just let me tell you will be spending near $100 and no more than $50 on your food. It was all thc infused by like 15-20mgs you can ask the waiters as they are very knowledgeable on the dosages. .I got the vegan tacos which were good the tofu inside was cooked pretty good I enjoyed it. Sad part was it was the only vegan/vegetarian thing on the menu, but I appreciate the representation & I would recommend it to my other vegan/vegetarian friends.perhaps it would be better with the guac but I wouldnt know because I'm allergic. My other friends got the burgers and fries but they also offer a side of chips and a salad. The fries were like truffle Parmesan - I've never had that before but I do always appreciate a good fry & it was good. The burgers they said were a hitttt so I highly recommend the burgers to my meat eating friends!! Overall, the vibes were good, the food does take long(so don't forget to bring u some weed OR buy some from the guy in the front as they sell it there too!!) as it is set in intervals and everybody is seated all at once and has a two hour time limit. Thank you so much to everybody who helped us understand the menu, gave a bday shoutout to my friend, & took care of us for the night keep up the great work guys!!!! read more

We came here before and didn't enjoy the experience but wanted to give it another chance given the owner was cool and so was the staff. The Mac and cheese was good. The brownie was also good. We also really enjoyed the two drinks I had - watermelon lemonade and dragon fruit drink. My girl had the lemonade and that was awesome as well. We just treat the drinks here like drinks at liquor bar. From that point of view it's cheaper but not as strong. The food is pricy which is probably due to the cost of THC for the food. Next day addition: after leaving the restaurant we thought we would eventually get buzzed. That wasn't the case for us. Maybe the THC is too weak. Regardless the pain here is that you either leave hating how much you spent or regret that you never even got buzzed even after waiting hours to see if it eventually hits. I would love to work with them for a better experience but so far this just isn't it for us. ‍ I hope the team doesn't take this review personally. This is just the truth. read more

It was good vibes, and good music, but the food meh ! For the food to priced as high as it is infused or not infused it should be HITTING! I loved the ambience and the staff, the Energy was AMAZING for the 420 Brunch. Everything in there catches your eyes! I had the Infused Dragon Fruit Mojito and it was very pretty, cool and refreshing, I didn't quite get infusion of it. The chefs burger was cooked properly but it was a bit bland, and so were the Parmesan Fries. Other than that I'm glad I got to experience it. I thought I was being punked. Came here to celebrate a birthday and was excited at the idea of experiencing an infused menu. They tell you upfront that the food has a very low dosage and the desserts will pack more of a punch. 1st glance at the menu and the entire table bust out laughing. $35 for 6 wings, $35 for 3 extremely  small empanadas, $40 for calamari and only the dipping sauce is infused.  $50 for a cheeseburger (not sure which component was infused), $70 for a small fillet of salmon on a bed of puree and vegtables, and $70 for short ribs INSANE I will say some of the items like the wings,  short ribs, and mac n cheese had good flavors but not enough to remotely justify the prices. Only non alcoholic beverage options that are supposedly infused..basically $15 for a small glass of juice. Desserts....$50 for mini cakes.. The vibe is nice and the set up in the back is cool but I doubt I would ever come back. We only left high because we rolled up at the table and smoked throughout the meal. I do appreciate the greeting we received when we came in to be seated and the mini tour. And our server was great. read more

Let me start by saying that I will be back. Mainly for the apple tart because it was so good! But, I don't like the idea of paying an day fee for entry even if you're only going for your reservation, The meal was kinda pricy seeing how we ended up at $364 but only shared: 4 lemonades Fries Macaroni 6 Wings Caesar salad A cake pop & apple tart for dessert. the food and service were great! Our party of 4 made a reservation for a Saturday @ 4pm. We were greeted and told to fill out a form via QR code basically agreeing and consenting to the type of establishment you are about to enter. The QR code was on the left side of the wall where ppl also had to line up before entering. One of the co-founders/host came and gave us a nice introduction on what to expect and how things worked in regard to menu and also gave us a nice little tour of establishment. It was nicely decorated clean and the layout was nice. We chose to sit in the outdoor area which can also be covered. It was chill and relaxing... we ordered food and drinks some non-infused and some infused. Menu was kind of pricey but considering it's a cannabis establishment and you are paying for the Experience it's not too bad... You can bring your own weed and or buy there already rolled too if you choose. They had a live DJ which was great too. There is 2 bathrooms yet one was out of order, the other didn't lock. I had the shrimp po'boy with potato chips and it was good. I just would have put it on a potato roll like if it were a lobster roll instead of Italian bread. The truffle fries were fresh and delish and the dulce de Leche cake was sooo good! My Special K drink was tasty too! Empanadas were really good and fresh yet really small. All of the workers were friendly and cool. Friendly Suggestions.... -Change the bread for the Po'boy. -Have the QR code on the opposite side of where ppl line up so there's less traffic and or confusion. -Get that bathroom door lock fixed, anyone can walk in on you even if they knock and may not hear you because of the music. I was walked in on (im a female). We will def come back, good luck and best wishes this place is really nice. read more
