We found some power outlets readily available to keep everything charged up. The staff keeps the food area cleaned up and well stocked. They had 2 beers on tap and a self serve bar as well. There was a fella who was talking very loudly on his phone, everyone in the Lounge could hear him. The staff had a quiet word with him and he quieted down, I appreciated that. The restrooms in the lounge were spotless. It's nie to use this Lounge to get away from all the noise and craziness in the regular terminal.

No waiting or lines on Wednesday night with plenty of seats available. The lounge is pretty spacious with floor to ceilings windows lining the walls on one side. I initially wanted to sit by the window to watch the planes but there weren't many outlets. If there was one, the tables were taken. We opt in for the private room with the TV and comfortable couches. A good variety of hot and cold food that gets replenish frequently. I like to hydrate before the long 9 hours flight and was glad to find water with lemons/herbs and fresh fruits. Plenty of non-alcoholic beverages, sodas and beer. They also have a self service mini bar with liquors, wine and champagne. I had a glass of the Altos 2024 Chardonnay from Argentina and it was surprising good for lounge wine. You can also hear announcements for flight boarding and departures. I also like the dim lighting in the lounge. It had a relaxing and welcoming vibe.

I'm surprised to see that there aren't any recent reviews on Yelp, so I thought I would write one to give a more updated experience for those who want to try the lounge out anytime soon. I think realistically my rating is more of a 2.5/5 rather than a 2. I got in line to put my name on the waitlist. Just a reminder that the earliest you can only put your name on the waitlist is 3 hours before your flight's DEPARTURE. I got to the airport hours earlier and was told to come back at a later time, which I did. I finally got the opportunity to put my name down and by the time I received that second text to be allowed into the lounge - an hour had already passed. I did let them know I was flying out terminal 5 and intended the leave the lounge early. This did not expedite my queue on the waitlist at all, therefore, if you are visiting from another terminal keep that in mind because you need to allocate time to go through TSA again. The service outside of the lounge (waitlist, greetings, etc) were not great. It seems they were probably frustrated with people not understanding the lounge rules or don't have the right qualifications to go in. I also felt judgmental glances and they seemed surprised that someone like me would have lounge access? Also, to note that as I was leaving the lounge the attendant just looked right over me, no welcomes or thank you's. I am not someone who expects to be treated as a VIP, but seeing them do it for others and to pick and choose who to be nice to was very strange to me. Although, not every attendant was this way. The person who served me was wonderful she was extremely nice. Moving onto the food, it was great. It definitely is better than the lounge at SFO (which is my home city). The burger you can order through the lounge website, the QR code is made available via the table you're seated at. They have the standard buffet setting. Here you get a pasta, orzo, salad, a protein, etc. on the other side of the buffet there are snacks and dessert bites. The burger was great, nothing spectacular. The fries were seasoned well with salt. The bathroom amenities are nice (there are some makeup wipes, shower, floss, etc). The lounge floor was very nicely decorated and spacious. It was not filled with people at all (if anything there were lots of tables and seats open). I think most lounges do this because they don't want to overcrowd. Overall the food gets a 2 and the 0.5 is for the nice attendant that served me. I will most likely not be back unless I'm flying out terminal 4 and happen to be at the airport 3 hours early (which I will probably need all that time because the wait itself is an hour).

The Etihad Airways First & Business Class Lounge has a world of comfort and convenience ny traveler can ask for during intl. travel out of US. With its well-appointed interiors and warm service, there are also private residences and office space you can take advantage prior to boarding your flight. The lounge also offers some buffet and a la carte dining for all the passengers. There's also a full bar service with large selection of items. I appreciated the free spa/massage, travel bags and drinks they offered. I also appreciated the vegetarian options and lots of intl. food options at the lounge. Etihad lounge is conveniently located on Terminal 4 post TSA security checks. They also provide a courteous service from first class lounge directly to your flight gate once everyone else has boarded the flight. Loved the friendliness of the attendants. I would highly recommend the Etihad airline and all the amenities it has to offer to travelers.
