Lounge seemed good to me. Business floor wasn't crowded, had a bar, had hot and cold food, soda, and more. Comfortable seats watching TV and the best part? NOT crowded. Service was good too! It's light on staff but they do well.

Relatively empty, expected since it's Wednesday night

First Impressions: low lit and welcoming The Noms: food leaves much to be desired but at least it was fresh. Cheese tray changed often so it wasn't stale. Chicken soup was hot but noodles were over cooked and mushy (makes me think it's been out there for a long while).... Plenty of snacks that you can take to go, like chips and cookies (they were individually packaged) and shout out to whoever made the blondies and brookies (half brownie, half cookie) because they were sooo good. I'm not ashamed to say I wrapped about 3 each into napkins to take on the plane with me.... And this is AFTER eating like four of them. LOL In conclusion: the brookies and blondies are reason enough to make my way back here.

They let me in on a Saturday with Priority Pass. Very nice lounge. Good alcohol selection (self serve). The food is amazing. Would definitely recommend.

A bit dated in its appearance nevertheless it's a comfortable space with amenities you find in a world class lounge. Very European feel to it and that fine by me. Meals are healthy and plates sized to accommodate small portions. A self serve bar with several libations and bar snacks. Clean and tidy and serviced by personable staff always picking up the odd plates. The two times I've been here it had been pleasant. It's not top of the line but for the quiet, and all the other factors it's a great option in a bustling airport.

A true hidden oasis just feet away from the hubbub of security, crowds, and noise. Super clean with friendly attentive staff. A nice offering of complimentary foods and beverages. Nice wines. Above all else: it's QUIET!!!

Strong foul smell from this spoiled watermelon. They kept it on the buffet table after I told them it was spoiled.

This is my second time to be in this most exclusive airport lounge in US, and this might be the last time. The quality of food is unbelievable worse than the business class lounge downstairs. First of all, the watermelon at the buffet table was spoiled, and I had to spit out everything in my mouth. After I told the staff, they still left the rest of the spoiled watermelon for other first class passengers to enjoy. I ordered the lobster bisque, and it was half hot and half icy. So they didn't heat up in the microwave long enough. The prime rib was excellent, but the spinach underneath was flavorless. Not even a pinch of salt or a splash of lemen. My tiramisou was still half frozen, and I pretended it was tiramisou flavor ice cream. I specifically book this flight, since I had such a great experience last time at this lounge. I guess the first class experience is a wonderful memory in the past. I understand that they have to recycle unpopular food items from day to day due to limited number of first class passengers. But a little bit quality control is not too much to ask. I definitely will not book a flight out of JFK just for this wining and dining experience. The service quality at the Frankfurt first class terminal is much more consistent.

THE BLACK AND WHITE: I was super excited to visit this capital one lounge mainly because the other times I tried to come here, they were either closed (due to a unforeseen fire incident) or my flight was about to leave. The space opens up into the bagel and coffee bar near the front where you can order your bagel fresh to order. Then you can either turn left or right and both have plenty of seating. If you turn right, you eventually get led to the bar and can post up for your flight. There are QR codes at every table where you can order a la carte your meals. THE FINAL BAMBOO: Overall, this is probably my favorite capital one lounge in their network. If this is all you read, all you need to know is to visit the bagel bar.

The lounge is spacious, with plenty of comfortable seating, and everything was clean and well maintained. There are two buffet areas, plus a separate coffee and dessert/ice cream bar on the upper level. I found the food to be surprisingly flavorful for an airport lounge, and I also appreciated that kosher meals are available upon request. If you have time before your flight, don't miss the 1850 Speakeasy tucked inside the lounge. It's a fun addition and serves well-crafted specialty cocktails in a more intimate setting. One of my favorite features was the view overlooking the tarmac. It's a great place to relax while watching the constant flow of aircraft taxiing and taking off. Overall, an excellent lounge experience and one we'd happily visit again.

Like other high-end travel cards, the CSR gives complementary membership to Priority Pass (PP). Unfortunately, there just aren't that many great PP options domestically for the airports that my wife and I travel to (through). The best use of the membership has been getting free snacks/drinks from a Gameway at our home airport (LAX)..and occasionally a free chair massage when traveling through ATL. Well, with this initial visit to this lounge (first one to any Sapphire Lounge), I've now gone to a really good domestic lounge, not affiliated with AMEX or Delta. It was impressive, especially since it didn't cost extra. Chase has partnered with Airport Dimensions (owners of 'The Club' branded set of airport lounges across the U.S.) to open the Chase Sapphire Reserve Lounge Network (only nine lounges so far). Airport Dimensions is owned by the Collinson Group, which also owns Priority Pass (the biggest airport lounge system in the world). This lounge is located in Terminal 4 at JFK, on the upper mezzanine, right next door to the AMEX Centurion Lounge (which my wife and I had visited on our last trip to NYC in 2023). There was one attendant manning the desk, and he let us in after scanning our membership QR code and boarding passes. We were able to find seats, and realized that it wasn't too crowded. We got there just as breakfast was ending (10:45...not too much of a selection yet). There was a breakfast buffet, and the bar was open. Got their specialty cocktail (a Sapphire Spritz made with vodka)....realized later that almost everyone else was ordering their drink through the Sapphire website (accessible by scanning a table specific QR code), getting it hand delivered right to their table. Delivery to table is a great feature of this lounge, differentiating it from competitors like Centurion and Sky Club. Once lunch opened up, more menu items became available, including a Sapphire Burger with Fries, with a decent ability to customize. My wife and I ended up separately ordering a burger and fries, and I got their two local beers on tap: TALEA Beer Co. Watermelon Splash Sour Ale and a Coney Island Brewing Co. Mermaid Pilsner. Everything got delivered per order in decent time, and the waiter was pleasant about it. The beers were great, and the burger was good quality...would have perfectly satisfied with the dish at a burger restaurant. The fries were decent, too. There is a self-service soda machine on the premise. I did try checking out the washrooms, and saw that there just isn't that many stalls for a lounge this size. After finishing our beers, we left the lounge in plenty of time to mosey to our departing gate. By the time we left, there was a line that had formed outside the lounge to get in...so they must use a strict queue to maintain the amount of people at the lounge to be under the maximum seating. That being said, I recognize that much of the experience depended on the lounge not being packed, so we got lucky (coming on a Thursday just before lunch started and leaving a bit after noon). I've read that Chase will be changing admission rules. Today, any PP member can enter the lounge once a year. Starting August 15, only members with an eligible card (like the CSR) will be able to enter. Can't wait when they open the new Sapphire Lounge (scheduled for late this year) at LAX! Might make me reconsider maintaining my Delta Reserve AMEX card.

I had to wait five minutes in line to enter the waitlist which itself took another 45 minutes. people were sitting outside the lounge waiting for their turn which didn't feel very premium. inside the lounge was very crowded and the attendant had difficulty finding me a spot, but I was able to spot an empty seat for myself. the food was really good, but that was about it for the lackluster "premium" experience. dont go to this lounge in the afternoons because it's too crowded and it's a hassle to come all the way to terminal 4 just for this lounge since you have to go through security again. there is no pathway or air train that connects the terminals on the secured side. there was a bar where I've seen great reviews on but I only had 10 minutes because I needed to leave to re clear security at the other terminal my flight departed from. Part of the reason for the lackluster experience is that this is a lounge ran by Ethiad that contracts for chase sapphire reserve. Ethiad customers have no waitlist. And if you are normal priority pass you have no chance making it in on the afternoons. Expect to get turned away aa I saw some people were. The lounge was pretty and aesthetically pleasing though.

The food in this lounge is excellent, highlighted by the full service restaurant which is on-site. While I was not super thrilled with the burrata, my burger was pretty tasty, and the desserts were top board. If you don't have time, the buffet is also expansive and has a lot of the same food available. The highlight here are the made to order salads, and the fresh baked brown butter chocolate chip cookies. Wow they were so good with a glass of milk. I took a shower while here, and that too was an excellent experience. You get your own full bathroom, any toiletries you could need are available, and even some you would not expect. The shower was roomy and had multiple shower heads. Of course, open bar, and I recommend the espresso Martini. The only think that was disappointing was the spa service... Delta has a lot of traffic out of this terminal, thus opened a second (smaller) Sky Club in Concourse A in 2023. This one in Concourse B (capacity of 500 people) is located near Gate B31, and was convenient for a very early morning visit shortly after arriving into NY from LA on a red-eye flight. My wife and I gain entry into Sky Clubs via our AMEX Delta Reserve Card, which provides 15 complementary visits per year. The Sky Club allows entry at the point of arrival, whereas most other lounges is only for point of departure and any layovers. Since we had already used the lounge at LAX the previous night, we knew this additional visit wouldn't count against our cap, so decided to stop in for breakfast. It was very close to our arrival gate (though on the second floor, requiring taking an escalator or elevator), and had already opened at 05:00 by the time we entered (05:20). There were already quite a few people inside, with the breakfast buffet stocked. Found some nice seating with a view of the concourse. I tried some scrambled eggs, herb baked baby potatoes, pork sausage...ended up being a decent breakfast. My wife took advantage of the shower facilities, making an immediately fulfilled reservation since there was no wait. My wife added to her celebrity sightings by meeting Nile Rodgers in line at the breakfast buffet.
