Been ordering tripe and organ blends from here for years. Very easy to order, go to their website check out their products, send them an email requesting for their current price list. Once you get the current price list, send them an email with items you want to purchase. They will send you a link to pay. Set a pick up date/time (if you're able to come pick up). They will have all purchased items ready for you. Drive to their location and call them once parked and they will bring everything out and load in your car. Open Monday to Friday only. Food comes completely frozen packed in a cardboard box. I only feed my dog raw and give him half protein (beef, turkey or salmon) and half tripe (goat or beef), and add a little organ. I rotate a different protein every few days for nutrition and to keep things interesting. My dog loves meal time, is very healthy with a shiny coat. Don't forget to give raw bones twice a week. For my border collie I go with beef rib on Fridays and goat bone on Mondays. Perfect white teeth never bad breath or dental issues. Happy healthy dog. read more

I wanted to give them 5 stars but after two shipments, they rate a 2 and I won't be reordering. Both times my product arrived partially thawed due to how they packed it. I order raw food from all over the country and thought since they were in CA, which is where I live, I'd give them a try. I emailed them after each shipment and suggested they use dry ice (which is what everyone else does) vs ice packs which thaw quickly. They pack in a cooler and have that wrapped in foil, but it's not sufficient. Nothing worse than receiving a large box that is dripping from thawing raw food. Since they have never responded to me, my raw food business will go elsewhere. It's a shame because I love supporting CA companies. read more

I am so grateful that GreetTripe sells to local customers. I appreciate being able to purchase such a great product from a local company. One of my dogs has lymphoma and stopped eating. GreenTripe gets him to eat. It also helps my senior dog who doesn't have much of an appetite. She will always eat GreenTripe. In February, 2018 the business had to physically move from Hollister to Gilroy due to unscrupulous Hollister politicians and that didn't help the ability to continuously produce product. I have been a customer with Green Tripe for three years. Kirsten was very helpful, respectful, and knowledgeable. She had great customer service. When she left, my orders have been delayed for weeks. This last time I placed an order, I made sure to order a month and a half in advance. I gave a specific date since I am coming from the north bay. The order was not ready because they have moved location to Gilroy. I asked management to please give me a call or an email when my order is ready. Great product and my dogs love the diet but reliability is a problem for sure. Growing pains I assume as they can only produce a certain amount on a weekly basis but I have had a standing order for almost a year and I was turned away today because they had no product. Very frustrating considering I know have to feed my highly allergic Mastiff something else. read more

Besides the tripe, they have some gullets which my dog loves! Gullets are from the throat and esophagus area, it's part bone and has some meat on them. And don't forget the hooves. Great for gnawing, will keep your dog busy for quite awhile. Last time I went, the two gals and all these guys were watching a copy of World Dirtest Jobs (or whatever it's called) and the episode was tending to pigs. I had to watch it for at least 10 minutes before I could pick up my order. It reminded me that some people really do know how to slow down and enjoy life. these people never answers the phone.. I called last week after calling for two weeks straight, leaving messages and emails. Once the lady got on the phone she was taking my order and she said " another customer just walked in and I will have to call you back".. that was a week ago.. These people are horrible and be careful of the the customer service and lake there of. They are not the only people that sell tripe.. I've been going here for for more than 6 years, and I can't say enough about the food and the people. First the XKALIBER 5lb. rolls have been a life saver. I have 2 boxers and they look and feel so good since they've been eating this food. I also get the stuffed hoofs and they munch on those for weeks! I went and bought a big enough freezer that I could buy 500 lbs. at a time, and only have to go once every six months, plus you get a discount if you buy this much. We have depended upon greentripe.com as suppliers for our pet foods for quite a while. An order of two cases was billed and shipped on Monday, November 27. The frozen green tripe was packaged in what appears to be a damaged/broken styrofoam container which was placed in their usual cardboard outer shipping container and shipped via UPS. One of the cases (for which I paid $128.45) was delayed in shipping and arrived defrosted and at room temperature on December 4. A call was immediately made to greentripe.com. They assumed no responsibility for the loss of product which occurred as a result of the combined negligence of greentripe.com (using broken styrofoam container) and the UPS shipping delay. They chose not to file a claim with UPS and told me that I, their customer, would have to eat the $128.45 loss of product. greentripe.com demonstrated a complete disdain for customer service by refusing to accept any responsibility for the loss. This stuff is hands down the best!!!! I am a father of 3 Cane Corsi and have had problems trying to motivate one to eat her food. From 5 star kibbles, 5 star can 5 star Treats etc.. Same ol same ol. They all have been on a raw diets but she would lick and nibble around and get bord within seconds. Eventually the others would push her out the way and consume her portions at feeding time. That was untill I started the real raw food diet with green tripe's Xkaliber. At the first feeding she inhaled this stuff before the others started and when they finished and tried to move in like before, I had to actually seperate her from the other as she claimed top dog in the pack. Freaked me out a little bit. But in the end she had her portion and I doubt the others will have a chance to consume her portion again . From now on, I myself will call this product dog crack because they are doing any command I give without hesitation just for a lick from my gloves. They are way more active in just a few feedings I cant wait to see how their body structure developes after some time. This is hands down the best!!
