This my favorite place to get manicure pedicures and facials. Appointment only so call ahead. Can go online to see if there is any openings early in the week. Otherwise think ahead. The hard part is trying to coordinate two appointments on the same day so call instead. Every time I have gotten my nails done they are carefully attended to and well done. Took my mom in for a mani pedi girls time out. We really enjoyed the service. they do an excellent job... my mom really enjoyed it and they made her feel very comfortable (she is 86). the products are very unique! especially in Tucson, it's so drying on you nails so this was a wonderful treat for our brittle little nails and toes, even when we got home my husband commented on my toes! I got a gift certificate here & was really torn between their services. I ended up getting the deep tissue massage (by Alyssa), & I am still floating. It was like her hands were made for my body. She used the perfect amount of pressure, she listened to my needs, & she knew exactly what to do, when to do it, & for how long. She was really kind, & she kept up to see how I was doing. I hate to leave a negative review like this but when you spend $60 on a gel manicure you expect it to last at least a week. My nails started chipping after two days and we're completely coming off after four days, barely even made it through Thanksgiving. I'm pregnant and love the idea of a natural place with natural products to get my nails done but it's just not even worth the hassle and money. Loving this place!! It was Friday 9/30/13, the day before a long Labor day weekend and I was in need of a good pedicure as I would be in flip-flops all weekend long. After searching many different pedicure places no one had any openings until next Tuesday :( My good friend Jennifer Eckstrom recommended I try Greentoes as she is a loyal patron. They answered my prayers and were available for an 11AM appointment the next day, which was Saturday. I had the pleasure of meeting Jeanette who would be my pedicurist. Let me tell you, when you walk in, there is no harsh chemical smell that you always smell at other pedicure places where they herd people in and out like livestock. I was greeted by Jeanette who was expecting me and offered me something to drink. The place itself is so relaxing and very cute inside. Jeanette then explained to me about the all-natural products she was going to use and asked if the water temperature was to my liking. The pedicure tools she used were amazing. Nothing but the highest quality and you can feel the difference. The oils she used smelled good as well and the sugar, ginger, oil scrub was amazing. We had a nice conversation throughout and I learned that she is also a Tucson native like myself! The entire treatment took about 45 minutes, which is what I was told so her timing was awesome. The pedicure was only $45! I am NEVER going back to those places that charge $25-$35 for a pedicure where you are rushed in and out and there is no conversation. Greentoes is definitely a Tucson treasure. I cannot thank my friend Jennifer Eckstrom enough for opening my eyes to such a wonderful place. I just hope we can get her brother Daniel to go, as he is ticklish, but we can work on that. I'm excited to bring my family and friends here so they can experience what I experienced...and that is a small slice of heaven on earth. read more

Made an appointment three days in advance for a pedicure. Explained to the Greentoes scheduler I had toe fungus and would like their help to deal with it. They confirmed the appointment the day before. Upon arriving on time for my appointment, i was abruptly informed Greentoes wouldn't be able to 'treat' my toes, which I finally was able to determine meant no pedicure. Apparently the front desk staff doesn't have all the information they need when scheduling customers, which seems to be a significant lapse. I certainly won't go back and urge folks when making an appointment to make sure there's not going to be a restriction with the desired service. I've has several pedicures at other nail salons without an issue. So much for patronizing a downtown business. read more

When my husband asked me what I wanted for Mother's Day, I immediately said "A gift certificate to Greentoes!" I used it in June when they had a special on facials -- I was VERY pleased with the service. I was the first appointment of the day. The staff was friendly and relaxed but not in that uppity manner that you get from some spas. The facial itself was AWESOME! The best thing about it was that she recommended a product but did not make me feel like my skin was going to suffer if I did not purchase it. Yes, I have left other salons/spas feeling like I had just left a used car dealership! Definitely not that atmosphere here -- they make the recommendation and explain the product but they don't push it. A must try!!! I learned of this place from my friend so I went and I must say was such a tranquil and nice experience. First off the place is central and easy to get to, second the environment is simple, pretty, chic, and clean. The customer service is very pleasant, this is hard to find. Most places are such in a rush to get you in and out, Greentoes is different they take their time and execute their services with attention to detail and quality. I was in need of a manicure/pedicure and I had the opportunity to try Green Toes. I had high expectations with the high yelp rating but my experience was even better than expected. After a long week I arrived and was scheduled with Jeanette, after rushing to get there she made me feel relaxed and offered me a cup of tea which is exactly what I needed at that time. My manicure was great my hands have been super dry and Jeanette got my cuticles and skin back in shape. I am very particular in regards to my pedicure especially because I wear heels 12 hours a day and it was the best one I have ever had. I don't normally write reviews but I was compelled to write one for this place. This is the first time I've walked into a nail salon and did not want to immediately gag from the chemical smell. It was wonderful! I loved Jeanette, who did my nails. I was embarrassed about the length of my nails, which were shorter than most people, mainly because I am a potter. She made me feel real comfortable and we talked about ceramics and art for the majority of the visit. A major plus is that the nail polish is vegan! I am a vegan and it's hard to find a place that accommodates that. I will definitely be back. They have facials, manicures, pedicures and waxing.
