This review concerns the Service department at County Ford, rather than the Sales department (which…read moreI'm sure is also just great). My partner has a 2013 Focus Se. With less than 100,000 miles, she ran into a manufacturing flaw that impacted some of the Focuses from that year. After getting opinions and estimates from other trusted local mechanics, we brought her Focus to county Ford. Their service department head, Richie was very patient with our many questions and our obvious frustration, after being without a family vehicle for some time. Richie was careful to explain the details of the problem to us in layman's terms and really bent over backwards for us to resolve the issue. We were astounded at the level of personal care given to us to understand our situation and to make it right. I wish more large companies would make individual care for their customers a priority like County Ford did. Thank you!

If I could put 0 stars, I would. This is a horrible place to do business. The only part I liked…read moreabout this place was the sales assistant who helped us find a truck. She was sweet, I can't remember her name. The part that was horrible was the financing. My son was adamant about getting a F150. We found one he liked and needed me as a co-signer. The day to do the paperwork, I was not with him. He was only able to put $1000 dollars down that day as that what the bank would allow. I went with him a week later to put down the rest of the money. We worked with Dulce and I'm not a fan. She caught an attitude first when I told her we didn't want the RESISTALL as it was OPTIONAL AND $999! She made a lot of awkward conversation and quickly went through the paperwork. She kept talking about random topics and was distracting. (Probably for a reason). She said we owed another $2000 dollars with a $75 processing fee. We paid that and she said she would send the paperwork through email as she did not have anymore USB drives to put it on. We never received any paperwork. About 2 weeks later, my son kept getting phone calls saying we still owed $750. Dulce never mentioned this money when we signed the paperwork. She said she "thought we needed more time to gather the $750". This was not true. I called the lending company and they said they had everything they needed. I then spoke with someone else at County Ford about the situation and he was rude saying "your son was well aware of how much he owed" and did not care that Dulce made the mistake. I asked Dulce that day we were there if there was anything else they needed from us and she said "no, you're good to go". Don't go here because they're rude and disorganized. I highly recommend Cox Toyota close by. They're amazing, clear, and professional, County Ford is not. And my son has had this truck for about 3 weeks or so, and it's having problems. I will NEVER go back there again.

***THIS IS ANOTHER BUYER BEWARE REVIEW***…read more This is not the first review or the first time this dealership has sold cars with poor frames. I don't know if they intentionally hide their reviews or delete them, but please be aware when purchasing a vehicle from these guys. I recently purchased a 2008 Toyota Forerunner from Mebane Auto Group. The car had low mileage, a clean title, a nice interior, and new wheels and tires. I test-drove the vehicle before purchasing and the salesmen provided me with a pre-sale inspection stating that the car and its frame were in GOOD condition. I then proceeded to purchase the vehicle. After a week of driving the car with no issues, I drove three hours home on a weekend to take my boat out, and before towing the boat, I noticed severe rust inside the trailer hitch. I then checked under the spare wheel and noticed more rust. Being that the pre-sale inspection stated the car's frame was in good shape, I assumed that I had nothing to worry about. I decided to take it to get an inspection just to be safe. When inspected, the auto repair shop immediately told me that the vehicle was unsafe to drive. The undercover paint used to cover the rust on the frame was partially scraped off and there were multiple holes in the frame. Just to give Mebane Auto Group the benefit of the doubt. I then proceeded to get two more inspections on the Forerunner, one from an authorized Toyota dealer. Both inspections notified me that the car was unsafe for me to drive. The frame was in that bad of shape. The Toyota dealership actually red-flagged my vehicle meaning they would not lift it to look underneath it because the frame was so rusted out. They made me sign a statement realizing that I was aware of how unsafe the vehicle was before driving the car off the lot. After getting THREE inspections on the vehicle, all saying the car was unsafe for me to drive, I then called Mebane Auto Group to let them know that I was going to be dropping this car off as soon as I was able and that something had to be done. After going back and forth with both the sales guy (won't say his name) and the repair guy (also won't say his name, the owner) about the vehicle and the fact that they had conducted a pre-sale inspection that was not true. I was able to return the vehicle. These guys are just trying to sell cars, they intentionally did not disclose the condition of the Forerunner and knew the condition of it because they (or someone they paid) put undercover paint under the vehicle, hiding the frame's condition. If you are looking for a vehicle, do not look here.

I've purchased 18+ cars since I began driving. Since moving to the Triangle in 2013, I've been…read moredisappointed by finding the "local" prices on used cars being $1K-$2K higher than the National average. This has resulted in me often looking at dealerships 3-4 hours away in GA and MD to get a great deal on a used car. While preparing to purchase a 2012 Volt in Maryland, I stumbled across Mebane Auto Group who had a 2013 Volt with slightly higher miles for the same price. I was more than happy to drive the 36 miles to Mebane rather than the 316 to Baltimore. The buying process with Chris was painless and transparent. Although their inventory is not large, I highly recommend you check them out for a "CarGurus Great Deal".
