ARC…read moreprovided a quote ( without visiting our home) that included the following sentence, "Please confirm exterior walls are framed 2x4". I told the rep that other companies have inspected our home and stated that our walls are suitable for blown in insulation. ARC never came to visit our home - while their competitors did this as a standard account management cycle. Fast forward to this week, I was ready to sign the agreement and pay the deposit - the rep asked me to confirm the 2x4 framing. I asked him how he wanted me to do this - he suggested I drill pilot holes in each wall or pay a 3rd party to do this and that ARC was not responsible for verifying the details of our home. Not responsible for validating a critical project detail before having you customer pay thousands of dollars?! Extremely poor customer service and frankly, a lazy sales team. I am sure the crews doing the work are great, but the accounts team could use a refresh. I will work with a competitor unless ARC has employees willing to visit their prospective customers!

We heard about Pro Energy from a Welcome Home company that came over to our house and suggested we should give them a call if we wanted an evaluation on where we are losing the most energy in our home. We made an appointment and Jerry from Pro Energy came over to our home and gave us an in depth analysis. He went over every room in the house with his thermal imaging camera and showed us where the cool air was coming in. He took pictures of areas where we were losing the most heat and consulted us on what we needed to do, for example, where we needed more insulation. Jerry gave us great advice and recommendations. We highly recommend Pro Energy if you would like to get a better understanding on where you're losing the most heat in your home, how and where to improve the areas, and if you want to save money so you don't have to use more gas and electricity to warm or cool your home. Jerry is very knowledgeable and explained things very well. They also give you the thermal and digital images to reference back to when you are doing the improvements. We are in the process of remodeling our home and converting the garage into living space. Well, the contractor never showed up, did not respond to any phone calls or text. The general contractor contacted Anchor Building Solutions on Saturday morning and Mike came to our house Saturday Afternoon, gave us a price and said he could have it done on Tuesday. The Anchor crew showed up on Tuesday and did a fantastic job. We had to divide the project up into 3 phases so Anchor had to come back two more times.
