Putting a new furnaces is a highly distracted Consumer experience And with the amount of money involved the contractor should be taking this responsibility. I tried to give him more business but I was just treated like they treat everybody else so I had to go to a different contractor. It's hard to get good info but people should check BBB and check datcp State of Wisconsin consumer protection. That's about all you can do because just about everybody's out to screw you one way or the other. You know unless you know somebody personally.

Dennis and Nick were both prompt and courteous. In my case, I needed to have my furnace inducer…read moremotor replaced and was quoted $780 for the job. Accu Aire was quick to point out that I could instead replace my entire furnace. I instead purchased a new inducer motor from an online retailer for $70 and installed it myself. The job was extremely simple, involved only 7 screws, and took me about 40 minutes to complete. While I expect to pay a premium for repair service, the quoted price of $780 was out of line. It appears that their business model favors the sale of new systems over repair. If you're looking to buy a new system I think they would be a good choice, but if you are interested in receiving a reasonable estimate for repairing your existing system, I suggest you look elsewhere....or at least get a second opinion from another HVAC repair company.
