Greenfield Estates leaves much to be desired, I don't even know where to start. Upon moving in, we were told that our new townhouse was professional cleaned. Nothing could be further from the truth! Pet hair was everywhere, dog food was under the washer, dryer, stove and refrigerator and the smell of wet, dirty dog was sickening. It should also be mentioned that the wall next to the bathroom tub was rotting. Their fix? Paint over it! Only to have it rot again two months later. When maintenance was called, we were unable to use our bathroom for 2 weeks while they "fixed it"! On the topic of maintenance, don't even bother! If you have any problems you can fix yourself, do it yourself otherwise you will be waiting forever. I have never lived in a complex with such poor maintenance before; I'm not sure the maintenance staff even knows what they are doing! The best, when I locked myself out in the middle of winter, maintenance came to unlock my door. The first thing out of Jess' (maintenance staff) mouth was, "Do you have my $40 to unlock your door?" Not "Are you OK?" or anything of that nature. Although office staff will tell you the grounds staff work 8am-4pm, be ready for early morning wake up calls consisting of leaf blowers and tree trimmers way before 8am! When moving in the office staff was not too bad. Diane and Megan seemed to always be there to help. However, a new officer manager, Tina McGinnis, has been hired and I couldn't think of a ruder, more hostile person who could care less about the people she is supposed to be serving. When I stated a simple fact to her that in recent weeks I have been to the office several times during day hours, only to find the doors locked and no one available, Tina jumped on the defense and had the most repulsive, argumentative attitude towards me. There was no attempt from Tina to clarify the situation or resolve or even apologize. With her actions and the attitude given to me, I would never recommend Greenfield Estates simply based on the actions of Tina McGinnis. I would also not recommend Greenfield Estates due to the unavailability of the office staff. I find it very unreasonable that office staff is not there to help during their posted office hours during the day. I understand that staff is out showing the property, but I also feel it is important that they take care of the people already giving them money and not just focus on the people who are potential sources of income for the company. In the end, I would not recommend Greenfield Estates, although the townhouses are great, and the location is very convenient, look else where! read more
