I couldn't believe how rude and ignorant she was, and how she acted towards me. I had never missed a payment in my previous residence of 5 years, but instead of looking at my record, she simply judged me based on my credit score.

The staff is kind and welcoming. They're quick on maintenance requests and always helped me out when I locked myself out of the apartment (quick response). My apartment wasn't updated but it is so much nicer than other places in the area. I never saw bugs in the apartment which I was thankful for. My neighbors where a mix of young adults like myself and older couples. Not a lot of young families with kids in my particular building or area. It was a nice quiet place and while neighbors were friendly when you caught them coming and going, you also rarely saw them. I would recommend this apartment in a heartbeat for anyone moving into the area. Close to a grocery store, a turkey hill, CVS, movie theater and it's far enough away from the city where there's not a lot of road traffic.

There are plenty of activities, clubs, exercise classes, committee's, and entertainment to keep us busy. There is free transportation to the nearby Park City Mall, super markets, Leisure Lanes Bowling, Walmart, and Central Market to name a few. The food in the Garden Cafe for breakfast & lunch and dinner in either of the formal dining rooms has been excellent !!! The variety and quality of food is second to none. We eagerly await the opening of the new Viva Centre, which will house a new swimming pool, 300 seat theater, exercise area, and more. It will be the center of activity for all of Woodcrest Villa.

I Recently moved out after only being there for 6 months. They take for ever for work orders, the…read moreone I placed took over 3 months and I went to the office multiple times to check up and let them know. As we were moving out in the pre-move out inspection they said everything looked great and that we didn't to be present on the final inspection. upon moving out we get the final inspection and they basically charged us for everything, even though we left the apartment cleaner than when we received it. The most ridiculous charge was $250 for removing baby proofing clips from the kitchen cabinets 6-8 due to "damages" as they were placed on with double sided tape. I even replaced them a few times with no damage whatsoever. I understand we forget to remove them, but $250 ARE YOU KIDDING ME. In conclusion: 1. rent isn't cheap 2. amenities aren't the best, we even had to pay to use the party room. 3. do not trust the pictures on the website 4. read the lease agreement in detail, as they have a million fees when moving out. 5. work orders take forever, as they only have 5 maintenance for 500 apts overall it my fault for not doing my due diligence, if I had I wouldn't have pick Kensington as my place of residence.

Locks to the buildings are broken, packages are stolen, trash is everywhere & people smoke inside every single day. Neighbors aren't considerate. Bugs inside year round. Dryer doesn't dry my clothes. Bathtub drain clogs literally every 3 days. Parking lots are smalls. Trash everywhere. The leasing office is UNHELPFUL and the workers are SO disrespectful & rude any time you just go in to ask a simple question for help or address a concern. No one responds to your emails but they expect you to be prompt with paying certain fees or else "eviction proceedings could occur". Also cannot find any management info on their website.

Shady Oak doesn't need a pool or fitness center to sell it.......the apts (I call condos bc they're as nice as one)...sell themselves. Not to say ...that I wouldn't be mad if they put a pool in...lololol. One person's "bad" experience should not reflect the majority. As for "the rich"..not living here....the other reviewer...seems pretty elite-ish. 100k combined....not nothing new here....just look at the nice cars in our parking lots. There's a perfect mix. And to assume that there is going to be crime here....is so off base. It's quite, beautiful, safe and a great place to raise a family. So please do not allow one crap review from steering you elsewhere. I recommend our development to everyone--if there is availability. The only reason ppl leave here is if they buy a home or get to an age where they require assistance.

Priced well below similar complexes. Wouldn't have left if I hadn't bought a house. Excellent team to do business with, had a few minor issues with hot water and the freezer, but were taken care of promptly by the service team. Altogether a great experience and I would recommend them to anyone.
