Mick provided excellent communication, being able to talk on the phone, via SMS, or via email as needed. There were several tricky planning choices and processes to go through, and Mick was flexible and persistent on all of them. Furthermore, the work has been of excellent quality. There was a lot of demolition that needed to happen, followed by reframing some concrete and putting it all back together. Everything was done with caution and care, and the end results are beautiful. Our neighbors have commented on how well our front sidewalk and driveway now look. Mick also provided several insightful suggestions as we went through the project: ways to avoid rodent invasions into the garage, how to protect the neighbors' homes from damage due to our work, and how to navigate the permitting process. Thank you, Mick! I highly recommend his and his team's services.

Before we worked with Bert, this was a huge issue every time it rained, as water would sleep through the cracks into the crawlspace below. Other contractors wanted us to redo the entire porch, but Bert suggested a more conservative option of redoing only the really bad areas and touching up the rest. He and his crew were super careful to make sure dust didn't get into the house, covering all the windows and porch with plastic before they got to work. Bert also fixed another part of our brick pathway that was sunk lower than the ground level and made it look good as new. During the last few rains, we haven't seen any water seeping below and the porch looks much better aesthetically as well. Bert was great to work with, highly recommend him and his company!!

Excellent work on a driveway fence! A few things I really appreciated:…read more 1. Very efficient planning and communication 2. During the free consult Alejandro was clearly much more engaged in actually solving my problems. Example: the fence needed to be low enough to see over as I back out of my driveway, for safety reasons. Alejandro held a tape measure at various heights and various points as I backed out. It seemed obvious to him that this was the right thing to do, but no other contractor I met with did this. 3. Construction was done in a single day (7 hours). 4. Sometimes I work with contracting firms where an attentive sales person asks about your project, and then a separate team (plus an annoying game of telephone) comes to actually work on the project. Not with Maldonado! At least for now Alejandro is not only figuring out the design with you but actually building the fence 5. Alejandro made several AI renderings showing the different options, which were quite helpful. I'm surprised more people aren't doing this 6. Above all I got the sense that Alejandro cares deeply about doing great work. We would absolutely work with them again
