They sell cardboard boxes inside the building, but in what I thought was a nice touch, there was a drop-off area for used boxes people could leave or take for free. It was empty, but still.

Only once did this develop into something but by doing this they made sure nothing came up as a surprise extra cost and I'd be able to see the potential problem myself. 3: Certain parts for my car are hard to get. Twice they built their own workarounds to re-mount certain things, specifically the radiator fans, rather than buying the part brand new super expensive from the dealership simply to avoid extra cost to me. For the radiator fans it's because the new mounting bracket for them has different clip placements, so they just built new mounting options to fit the new radiator and fans to the old bracket. 4: They replaced my oil pan but forgot to charge for the oil so they just put it in for free. It's clear this place doesn't screw their customers over. What more could you ask for?

He claimed all tow companies operate in a similar manner when dealing with abandoned vehicles. Perhaps so. Hope he really does report all of this cash based business to the IRS?? They also don't do business after noon on Fridays.. He was so kind to not charge me for Sat and Sunday since I did call on Friday without getting a response. I didn't see much activity at this business while I waited several hours on a Tuesday for the tow truck company to arrive (a company that would accept my credit card), so am thinking that this business is mostly just about impounding cars, demanding cash, and then hoping the down-and-out can't come up with the cash to retrieve them.

Although the assigned person was very pleasant they gave us totally incorrect information about the vehicle warranty and also regarding some of the vehicle features. We did not realize the info we received was bad until we did our own research when we arrived back home. Prior to discovering the bad info we actually put a large deposit on the vehicle. Upon discovering the bad info we were going to call off the purchase but decided to go back to the dealership a few days later to speak to a Sales Manager. We made contact with a Sales Manager by the name of Walter. In short, he was honorable and outstanding! He listened to our issues and corrected the wrong feature info we were given and, more importantly, he agreed to honor the vehicle warranty that the original sales person had told us - as incentive for us to purchase the vehicle. He also assigned us a new Sales Representative by the name of Kia Smith. Kia was absolutely SUPER fantastic! She went over every feature detail, answered all of our related questions, and actually sat in the vehicle with us to demonstrate the features. Walter's high degree of integrity and Kia's truly outgoing personality and depth of knowledge saved the vehicle sale for the dealership. These two individuals are an absolute credit to their employer and we would not hesitate to purchase another vehicle from them in the future. This was our second vehicle purchase from this dealership and there will be more (but hopefully not for a while :))

The service visit took 4+ hours (I had an appointment, so not sure why it took so long) but they did not pass inspection due to a non-working parking brake. The estimate to fix the break was $1,300! I said no thank you and I would address it elsewhere. Turns out nothing was wrong with the parking break other than the cable at the lever/pivot point needed a minor adjustment. That makes my blood boil - so dishonest to try to get a ridiculous amount of money from me for such a minor issue. Shame on that tech - very shady.

Call was answered Saturday morning and I was transferred to service. I opted for the first available technician instead of choosing my own. (Needed this repair asap since we are from out of town and using the camper) I got an appointment for the very next morning. Within 2 hours I received a call saying it was all finished and covered under our warranty. The technician explained the leak came from 2 separate hoses (one that was only visible after removing the tank), those were tightened. He made sure there was no crack in the tank and even straightened the tank because it was installed crooked. After we were finished I asked if there was another way to loosen the water filter because I couldn't get it to budge. He got it loose for me. Thank you to everyone in the service dept for helping fix our trailer and getting us in and out so fast! I'm sorry so many others had bad experiences, but I certainly did not. I will go back if I ever need service in the Albany area.
