The space is on a quiet no-exit side street that you'd probably never stumble across on your own, but that means that it gets little in the way of random lost foot traffic and stays pretty tranquil. There is an open-concept area with motorized adjustable-height desks and tons of power outlets, along with a long kitchen island and some cushier seating in the front. Everyone gets access to free caffeine through a very nice espresso/coffee machine that can make things like cappuccinos and hot cocoa, and the tea offerings are from Harney & Sons (very nice!), along with a flavored seltzer dispenser and some snack offerings (some basic chips and trail mix-y things along with a fruit bowl). You have access to a large fridge and microwave if you've brought your own food, but LIC is also an area rife with lunch takeout places if you're willing to walk a few blocks. Bathrooms are kept spotless and the whole space is cleaned pretty continually throughout the day. You can also reserve conference rooms for meetings that have A/V setup and I believe the upstairs has longer-term spaces for people who use this as more of a permanent office. What I really appreciated from the few days I spent here were the events that the staff run for anyone in the space to participate in, which range from wellness-oriented to just plain fun, and often incorporate great snacks. I loved the tie-dye activity and it was set up so nicely! The staff here are always polite, helpful, and friendly, and I'd totally recommend it to anyone looking for a quiet and chill (and air conditioned!) space to work that's pretty accessible for a number of subway lines.

The janitorial staff were also kind and kept the space nice and tidy. Favorite thing about the membership I opted for is that I had 24/7 access. The space itself features two different floors, each offering an open coworking space along with a few private phone booths to take calls. Workville changed the game for me since leaving NYC due to COVID…read more My company office is in NYC but has been shut down since March and I ended up moving back to California, but my team is still in NYC. What am I going to do when traveling back to NYC and have no office to work from? Cue Workville and boy did they deliver. The location in mid-town is central to anywhere I need to travel to in NYC. Plenty of food options around and safety is paramount at Workville. Hand sanitizer is available throughout, counters are wiped down constantly, Workville residents respect mask-wearing in public areas. Most importantly, support is on hand at all times with Sue, Sabrina, and DJ. If you ask nice enough, they will even let you play your own personal Spotify playlist so you play DJ for your office mates. I love Workville not just for their office layout, nor the wrap-around outdoor deck from the 21st floor, or the free coffee... it's a vibe. A vibe that I need and crave when I visit NYC. As "Ahnuld" said it best, "I'll be back!"

As you might guess, Workville has many of the amenities you would expect from a coworking site--from complimentary coffee and espressos to private call rooms for escaping noise during business calls.
