Their interiors are large, well decorated, and have plenty of space. My favorite is their options of teas. The pomegranate oolong was absolutely phenomenal. While I wouldn't pay the price to rent a place to work individually, it is a great area for office space and to hold meetings if you're mostly working from home or have a private business. When I started a new remote job last month, I wanted to try out a co-working space that I didn't…read morehave to schlep out to Manhattan for, and I was pretty excited about Gaseteria Works being located so accessibly in Long Island City. The space is on a quiet no-exit side street that you'd probably never stumble across on your own, but that means that it gets little in the way of random lost foot traffic and stays pretty tranquil. There is an open-concept area with motorized adjustable-height desks and tons of power outlets, along with a long kitchen island and some cushier seating in the front. Everyone gets access to free caffeine through a very nice espresso/coffee machine that can make things like cappuccinos and hot cocoa, and the tea offerings are from Harney & Sons (very nice!), along with a flavored seltzer dispenser and some snack offerings (some basic chips and trail mix-y things along with a fruit bowl). You have access to a large fridge and microwave if you've brought your own food, but LIC is also an area rife with lunch takeout places if you're willing to walk a few blocks. Bathrooms are kept spotless and the whole space is cleaned pretty continually throughout the day. You can also reserve conference rooms for meetings that have A/V setup and I believe the upstairs has longer-term spaces for people who use this as more of a permanent office. What I really appreciated from the few days I spent here were the events that the staff run for anyone in the space to participate in, which range from wellness-oriented to just plain fun, and often incorporate great snacks. I loved the tie-dye activity and it was set up so nicely! The staff here are always polite, helpful, and friendly, and I'd totally recommend it to anyone looking for a quiet and chill (and air conditioned!) space to work that's pretty accessible for a number of subway lines.

We rented at Beechhurst Executive Suites for 5 years and had a terrific experience. The landlord…read morehas an office on site and was very responsive to any problems that we had. We looked at so many other office locations in Queens but the location, cleanliness and professionalism at Executive Suites far exceeded all the other spaces that we looked at. The location is ideal since it is so close to all major highways so whether we had meetings in Manhattan, Westchester or Long Island we were never out of the way. As we began to outgrow our first office the landlord offered us a larger office and eventually when a second office became available he let us know immediately and we were able to expand our business without moving locations. Eventually we outgrew the office spaces and had to look elsewhere but we sure do miss the location and all the friends we made with the other businesses in the additional office suites. It was also great for networking. - Elite Pool & Fitness Management, inc.

The member engagement here feels intentional without being pushy. They take time to get to know all members and bring them together in a very organic and thoughtful way. I'm in one of their small private offices, and honestly, the layout options are great. Whether you need heads-down focus or want to be in the mix, there's space for it. What I appreciate most is that Resident doesn't force community at the expense of productivity. You can close your door when you need to ship something, then grab coffee and end up in a conversation that changes your priorities. Both things can be true here. The pricing sits somewhere in the middle. Certainly not a budget option, but not outrageous either. But the value for what you pay is amazing. What you're paying for isn't just square footage. It's the experience, the people, the support system. When I think about the introductions I've gotten and the environment I work in every day, the ROI is clear. What truly sets them apart is the fact they're thoughtful about who they let in. The vetting process is real but doesn't feel invasive. It's more like a conversation to make sure there's mutual fit. Both professional and cultural. No one does that in NYC. That selectivity shows up in the quality of people you meet here with everyone's building something, contributing something, or helping someone else do the same. If you want just a desk, look elsewhere. But if you're serious about your work and want to be around people who are equally serious about theirs, Resident is the right call.
