I needed flex office space for six months when opening the New York office of our business and…read moreBevmax was absolutely perfect! I spent a few weeks scouting out shared locations, but was disappointed to find that much of the competition offered incredibly high prices for small or under-equipped spaces. We are a growing company, so I didn't want to spend money on unnecessary coffee bars, pool tables, and other features that were common in other spaces. In addition, I spend much of the day on the phone or video conferences, so needed a truly private and quiet space, which many competitors simply don't offer. Fortunately, Bevmax offered very competitive rates and flexible terms, along with everything we needed as a company. The Columbus Circle location was perfect for me and offered very attractive spaces to host clients and hold meetings. I had a private office with generous space, all at rates below what competitors were charging. The secretary is very professional, and the kitchen, meeting spaces, and photocopiers are all exactly what I needed. I highly recommend that anyone who is looking to save money on an exceptional office space strongly consider Bevmax!

Workville changed the game for me since leaving NYC due to COVID…read more My company office is in NYC but has been shut down since March and I ended up moving back to California, but my team is still in NYC. What am I going to do when traveling back to NYC and have no office to work from? Cue Workville and boy did they deliver. The location in mid-town is central to anywhere I need to travel to in NYC. Plenty of food options around and safety is paramount at Workville. Hand sanitizer is available throughout, counters are wiped down constantly, Workville residents respect mask-wearing in public areas. Most importantly, support is on hand at all times with Sue, Sabrina, and DJ. If you ask nice enough, they will even let you play your own personal Spotify playlist so you play DJ for your office mates. I love Workville not just for their office layout, nor the wrap-around outdoor deck from the 21st floor, or the free coffee... it's a vibe. A vibe that I need and crave when I visit NYC. As "Ahnuld" said it best, "I'll be back!"

Also, they've recently expanded to take up two floors of the 1412 Broadway building, so there's plenty of room! Oh, and one of the best amenities of all are the balconies that look over the Manhattan skyline. You can sit out there to do a bit of work, have a call, or eat lunch... what a breathtaking view! As you might guess, Workville has many of the amenities you would expect from a coworking site--from complimentary coffee and espressos to private call rooms for escaping noise during business calls. Note that I'm still trying to talk them into free bubbly and vodka after work hours... but one of these days. =) Drop by Workville if you're looking for a new office space. The 2nd floor bathroom looks like something no woman would ever want to use with its ugly, exposed pipes. It completely killed my interest in wanting to be there. Most interesting is the fact that no one from management is there full time. (This would never be tolerated downtown. Ever.) Well, not exactly no one. Some guy named Akex called after i personally visited and some one let me in. I had to wait hours for a returned phone call and it seems you must show up when it's convenient for them. There are a few members if that's what they're called, but the space is largely empty. Their rates, attitude of the management, gaping hole in the plaster in the upstairs bathroom make this an extremely hard sell. They'll have to do better than this. Much better.

But after spending six months trying to cancel our virtual office and struggling to find a clear way to stop the annual auto-renewal, I strongly warn anyone not to give this company your money. It turns out the only way to cancel was by emailing a specific address--something never shared with us despite repeated attempts to cancel. Jay Suites also requires cancellation 90 days before renewal, but they started our renewal process on October 2, 2025, even though the renewal date wasn't until October 31, 2025. We were never sent a signed copy of our renewal agreement, and none of these policies were clearly communicated. When I finally reached someone to discuss it, they refused to cancel the renewal, citing their 90-day rule. After everything, they still auto-renewed our annual membership without consent or proper notice. Avoid this company at all costs. Their practices feel deceptive and make it nearly impossible to cancel once you've signed up.
