We finally had to move out when our team outgrew their largest office. It is conveniently located near all of the major train lines and PATH and the amenities are great; hip cafe, common areas for breakout meetings and kitchens on every floor. They also held happy hours and other festive events where we could mingle with the other tenants. We held numerous clients meetings and offsites in their conference rooms and all of our service requests were all taken care of quickly. Every single member of the staff; from the mail room and reception to facilities, IT, cafe and management, all went above and beyond to make our lives easier. We will miss the fun, upbeat environment and true professionalism of their team!

Best coworking space in Nassau County!…read more Before joining The BenchSpace, I looked at two other coworking spaces and nearly signed up for another one. I'm glad I didn't! Compared to its competitors like Regus and other local businesses, the BenchSpace has the best customer service and the best offices. It's the only place that does coworking right. The biggest thing for me was that there were no cancellation notice requirements or fees. Rent is month-to-month so you can have a desk to work at for as short or long a period of time as you need. Another thing they do that others don't is offer you a free day. This sold it for me. The other offices would just give you a tour, but you don't really know what you're getting in to. Having a free day allowed me to see that the space was consistently quiet and I wasn't going to be in a nightmare office. Ultimately, I highly recommend this space for anybody who's looking for a short-term solution. It's cheaper than building a home office and it feels nice to have somewhere to go everyday so you're not stuck inside.

But after spending six months trying to cancel our virtual office and struggling to find a clear way to stop the annual auto-renewal, I strongly warn anyone not to give this company your money. It turns out the only way to cancel was by emailing a specific address--something never shared with us despite repeated attempts to cancel. Jay Suites also requires cancellation 90 days before renewal, but they started our renewal process on October 2, 2025, even though the renewal date wasn't until October 31, 2025. We were never sent a signed copy of our renewal agreement, and none of these policies were clearly communicated. When I finally reached someone to discuss it, they refused to cancel the renewal, citing their 90-day rule. After everything, they still auto-renewed our annual membership without consent or proper notice. Avoid this company at all costs. Their practices feel deceptive and make it nearly impossible to cancel once you've signed up.
