Best coworking space in Nassau County!…read more Before joining The BenchSpace, I looked at two other coworking spaces and nearly signed up for another one. I'm glad I didn't! Compared to its competitors like Regus and other local businesses, the BenchSpace has the best customer service and the best offices. It's the only place that does coworking right. The biggest thing for me was that there were no cancellation notice requirements or fees. Rent is month-to-month so you can have a desk to work at for as short or long a period of time as you need. Another thing they do that others don't is offer you a free day. This sold it for me. The other offices would just give you a tour, but you don't really know what you're getting in to. Having a free day allowed me to see that the space was consistently quiet and I wasn't going to be in a nightmare office. Ultimately, I highly recommend this space for anybody who's looking for a short-term solution. It's cheaper than building a home office and it feels nice to have somewhere to go everyday so you're not stuck inside.

I joined Resident as founding member after working out of WeWork for some time. What drew me in was…read morethe promise of community, but what's kept me is how well they execute on it. The member engagement here feels intentional without being pushy. They take time to get to know all members and bring them together in a very organic and thoughtful way. I'm in one of their small private offices, and honestly, the layout options are great. Whether you need heads-down focus or want to be in the mix, there's space for it. What I appreciate most is that Resident doesn't force community at the expense of productivity. You can close your door when you need to ship something, then grab coffee and end up in a conversation that changes your priorities. Both things can be true here. The pricing sits somewhere in the middle. Certainly not a budget option, but not outrageous either. But the value for what you pay is amazing. What you're paying for isn't just square footage. It's the experience, the people, the support system. When I think about the introductions I've gotten and the environment I work in every day, the ROI is clear. What truly sets them apart is the fact they're thoughtful about who they let in. The vetting process is real but doesn't feel invasive. It's more like a conversation to make sure there's mutual fit. Both professional and cultural. No one does that in NYC. That selectivity shows up in the quality of people you meet here with everyone's building something, contributing something, or helping someone else do the same. If you want just a desk, look elsewhere. But if you're serious about your work and want to be around people who are equally serious about theirs, Resident is the right call.

We looked at so many other office locations in Queens but the location, cleanliness and professionalism at Executive Suites far exceeded all the other spaces that we looked at. The location is ideal since it is so close to all major highways so whether we had meetings in Manhattan, Westchester or Long Island we were never out of the way. As we began to outgrow our first office the landlord offered us a larger office and eventually when a second office became available he let us know immediately and we were able to expand our business without moving locations. Eventually we outgrew the office spaces and had to look elsewhere but we sure do miss the location and all the friends we made with the other businesses in the additional office suites. The part-time lifeguards this summer had to deal with a lot and were friendly and effective. But the best part of the summer was the addition of swim lessons.
