Unfortunately, our recent experience with Justin Family Pharmacy was among the most disappointing we've encountered. Following a visit to the emergency room, our son's prescription was sent to Justin Family Pharmacy. Before proceeding, he contacted the pharmacy to confirm they were in-network with TRICARE, and the staff confirmed they were. However, when asked to provide insurance information, the technician requested details such as the RxBIN number. As a military family, we only have a military ID, which typically suffices for prescriptions and does not include an RxBIN. Rather than assisting by looking up the necessary information using our sponsor's Social Security number--a standard procedure--or contacting TRICARE directly, the technician instead advised us to call CVS or Walgreens to have the prescription transferred. When I asked for clarification, he plainly stated that he did not want our business. I was shocked by the dismissive and unprofessional manner in which we were treated. In all our years of dealing with pharmacies both in the U.S. and abroad, we have never experienced such rudeness or unwillingness to assist. This was not only frustrating but disheartening, especially given the high level of respect and care military families are accustomed to receiving in healthcare settings. I hope this feedback encourages a review of service practices at this location. No patient--military or civilian--should be treated with such disregard.

If you have an endless bank account supply and don't care what they charge or how often they deduct funds, then your golden. Current situation is My practitioner recently changed over to Carie Boyd Pharmaceuticals. So, when I needed my BHRT replaced In December I authorized them a 1 x time charge, for 1 x times the BHRT Pellet fee, and that was it nothing else. Thinking that was the end of it until next time, boy was I wrong! (Keep in mind these only get implanted every 6 months or so.) However exactly 1 month later January 23 I get another charge for 3 x times the amount and this is supposed to be for an oral cheek dissolvable estrogen compound tablet that came out of nowhere, only arrives in the mail without warning of any kind with an invoice billing me again 3 times the amount of implantable that I received a month ago. My practitioner contacted this company, and then I also tried to contact this company and oddly the manager of the company would not even get on the phone with me. They sent a message to the accounting department back to her stating that "the accounts receivable lady can tell me they've already spoken to my provider and that was it nothing further they could do, and that my they couldn't accept the package back not because the content's had been opened or disturbed but because the PLASTIC FEDX package had been opened... Will keep you posted if anything else get resolved in this! Thank you for reading and hopefully it saves someone else this hassle. PS Don't let any company keep your bank card on file they can take what they want to send you a sticker charge whatever and not have to reimburse you for even face you!

My doctor warned me. She said this CVS has constant problems filling prescriptions because their…read moresystem doesn't see the dosing information correctly. I shouldn't taken the hint! Yes, CVS had that exact problem, but that was only the beginning. To start, after waiting in line to pick up my Rx, I learned my insurance had not been applied. Now I had to go wait in another line. After waiting further for the young pharmacist (her picture was on the wall, so I'm assuming) to apply my insurance to both meds, she finally turned to me and said flatly, "Your Blue Cross Blue Shield insurance isn't contracted with us." I'm like, you're kidding?! It's a group HMO plan, not some ACA plan. And she confirmed, "No." Incredulous, I just turned to leave, thinking I would have to go somewhere else, make sure they take my insurance, transfer my prescriptions... then wait, even longer! Well, I was miserable (that's why I was here in the first place) and shouldn't have turned to leave. Because when I walked back to the back pharmacy counter and told her, "Why don't you just put them back on the GoodRX coupon and let me pay for them?" She had already returned my prescriptions. It would now take yet another 20-25 minutes before I could get out of this hell with my meds. Now look, it would have been great if I had been feeling at least 50% and had the presence of mind to suggest that in the first place. But she knew she had options and should have made the suggestion up front. Also, her insinuation that it was BCBS Texas's fault that CVS refused to contract for my HMO plan was disingenuous at best and deceptive at worst. I saw the pharmacy staff hustling back there; they are working hard. But that's no excuse for poor, deceptive service. And CVS choosing to not take a main line group plan from BCBS Texas, well that's just about CVS dipping further into our wallets. I'll never be back to this store!
