Long story short - took a new e-bike here to have it worked on when a noise that sounded like it…read morewas coming from the motor started happening. Took it in 3 times and kept saying it wasn't coming from the brakes but technicians kept working on the brake. Last time we picked up the bike we were told they couldn't replicate the noise and couldn't assist any more. Rode the bike and the bike sounded worse. Immediately took it to Reed's Cycle in Eagle and they fixed the brake job AND got a new motor ordered under warranty from Specialized. Spoke to Specialized today and will never recommend George's Editing review after George's reply: We had a specialized rep personally reach out to us after working with Reed's. We now have a new motor being installed. Regardless stand behind my previous comment that the customer service and overall attitude was not professional.

Although we were initially a little confused about where to go after making the reservation online, once we got ourselves there, the service was stellar. We were warmly greeted, our bikes were staged and at the door, ready to go for us when we arrived. Neither of us had ridden an e-bike previously, so we wanted to make sure we know how to operate the electronics. All of our questions were answered, and we enjoyed a little chit chat as well before hitting the pavement. Upon returning, it was more of the same. Completely seamless. My boyfriend loves cycling though and I figured he'd enjoy getting to know the Boise area on a bike. He reached out to several bike rental companies in the area. Most charge by the day and we were seeing quotes as high as $200/bike for a week rental. We were about to just buy our own bikes and then resell them (which seemed like a HUGE hassle) when he stumbled over Synergy bike rentals. Now, Synergy offers electric bikes. My bf has always scoffed at e-bikes as they wiz past him on his daily commutes. He was extremely hesitant to get these bikes but the price was just too good to pass up and I am not the best cyclist, so it was a better option for me so I didn't slow him down. We got into town Saturday and Matt delivered the bikes within a few hours of us landing, and directly to the house! He gave my bf a quick tutorial on how to work the bikes and was off. The bike is extremely simple to use. The battery can be removed for charging and can be locked in with a key for when you're traveling and locking it up in public. The battery has a power button, then a portion of the right handle gives the bike some juice. On Monday we took the bikes from Eagle and State down the green belt toward DT. Took us about an hour to get DT and we still had 3/4 battery bars. We were able to explore DT with ease for several hours then headed back to our starting point. We really laid on the electric headed back since we had so much battery life left and made it back in 45 minutes with half a battery left! We also took the bikes up to McCall with us and were able to easily get to the top of Ponderosa Park's lookout point. It's a huge hill climb, but with some peddling to assist the electric bike, we made it up and barely broke a sweat. When we returned the bikes on Saturday, Matt again came out to pick them up. Took him about 10 minutes and he was on his way. Honestly the most simple rental experience ever and now I'm spoiled and afraid to ride my actual bike because of the ease of the electric :)

Only to be told later that it was "canceled" due to some so-called inventory mix-up. This is completely unacceptable. Once an order is confirmed, customers should be able to trust that the company will honor it. Canceling after confirmation shows a serious lack of organization and respect for your customers' time and expectations.

Hellooooo! So my bike was recently stolen and from my front…read moreyard! It was horrible and one reason, other than it getting stolen, was this sorta shit just doesn't happen in my neighborhood. They stole it, the tire blew just around the corner and then the guy ditched it in an alley. I was beyond lucky to get it back. Guy across the street found it and his "friend" was like "it's so weird that the lock and key are right there! The tire was in bad shape" I said to myself....AAAAND there's the guy who stole it! Kept my comments to myself, but other things he said, just added up to him being the thief. I did say..."the lock and key being there shouldn't matter because THE BIKE WAS ON MY PROPERTY WHEN SOMEONNNE STOLE IT!" Fn creep. Anyway, it took my a minute to go and get the tire fixed. I finally did and took it to the Eagle Bike Shop abd glad I did. Was my first time there and I'll definitely go back. Not only is it literally like 3 mins from my house, the staff was excellent. Cody fixed my tire and was super fast in doing so. Love when that happens. He was awesome. The whole staff was super friendly, they know their shit, they tell you straight up what's wrong, what it will cost and don't try to rob you like other places do. I thought it was going to be expensive, but wasn't at all. Again, love when that happens! I think we all do lol. Last bike shop I took it to, where I bought the bike, the cost would be double because I've had it serviced there before in the past and their prices go up..often. I know other things that might come about will be pricey no matter where you go, and that's life, bikes can be pricey to take care of lol, but this bike shop and the vibe is a great one. It's kinda like finding a mechanic who works on your car for the exact problem and doesn't magically find other issues just to make more $$ on shit that doesn't need replacing. Eagle Bike Shop reminds me of a great mechanic who is great to their customers and does work on what needs to be done and that's it. Grateful to these guys for fixing my bike and now that weather is insanely beautiful, I can finally ride again. I do nnnnnot do summer bike rides lol. Too damn hot. I'm not one made for Summer weather. Autumn and Winter are the best! Ok! Guess that's it! Thanks Cody for doing a great job and being super efficient. Thanks to the shop for just being an all around great spot. I know where I'll always go from here on out. If you haven't been and use a bike frequently, I highly recommend this place.
