Are YOU looking for a good time? Do you have 8 to 12 close friends looking to elevate your night…read moreout? If you answered yes, then Pedals & Pints is for you. Holy cow, my friends and I had THE BEST time on the Bike bar with Pedals & Pints. We were laughing, dancing, and of course pedaling! This was one of the most fun bar crawls I've ever done in Boise. You get to pick the bars you want to stop at or your host can help you plan where you group wants to go. Your host helps you set up the seats and goes over safety and all of the important policies and then you just go out and start having fun! We got to play our own music and most of the bars on the route has deals with the bars you can go to. You have the bike bar for about 2 hours, and I promise it's a GREAT time hahahaha. They even take a group photo for you.

To Jenna M's 1-star review of 3/29/19 and in particular to Jeff T's 1-star review of 3/12/19 I say…read more"Amen" and with relief that I am not the only curmudgeon who when out and about on Boise's downtown streets finds this just obnoxious for the riders' hootin' an hollerin' and hanging off of the pedal wagon and blasting music and... For a 1-star assessment having 'experienced' pedal wagon as sidewalk pedestrian or in car I say "me too". And since Yelp parked it behind it behind the 'not currently recommended filter', I'll also insert here Nancy P's 1-star review of 5/7/19 to which I nodded along. " You guys really need to learn the rules of the road and not let drunk hooligans run into the middle of the street for a "high-five". I have almost hit several people on these things because they are above the law apparently. I am all for having fun but they really need to follow rules just like everyone else." Yep. For those who don't know how this works, there is a driver standing up in front of the vehicleand seats around the side and at rear with a set of bike-type pedals at each seat where riders sit facing each other across a table of sorts, the better to perch the canned beer brought on board - in apparently as much quantity as they choose - as riders supposedly pedal power the vehicle to move. The driver at the wheel in front - who is relying on a slow speed motor in the vehicle - then stops at various bars for the riders to get shots of liquor to pound down (and use loo here and there too I am told - all that beer drinking on board creates the need) before climbing back on the wagon to continue on to the next libation location. All this while music blasts from the vehicle and inebriated riders sometimes seem to have the goal is to see how loud and disorderly they can become in the two or three hour tour from bar to bar. Then again, I outta disclose that I lived in Bend for 17 years and these pedal wagons there were a significant problem in tieing up traffic with the same behavior of people as if at a fraternity keg party and about six beers too many into the event. (But Bend is a tourist mecca, over 4 million visitors a year with more micro breweries per capita than any other west coast city and no city authority wanted to offend tourists to restrict the pedal wagons.) On the other hand, this weekend when waiting for the light to change to cross the street and Neil Diamond's "Sweet Caroline" was blasting out of the pedal wagon's speakers my husband did offer his "BUM BUM BUM" in unison with the uber loud revelers at just the right time. So, there's that to illustrate we are not completely without humor. But all in all "BAH HUMBUG" to these things.
