There was no wok hei (fragrant smoke from frying in a wok under high heat) smell or taste in the dish. The crying tiger (grilled beef) was recommended by my aunt. It was something new to me and I couldn't say I am a fan. The beef was a bit tough and not tender as expected from a wagyu beef. Or maybe I had it all wrong and it was not wagyu beef after all.
